Abstract

Mata Pelajaran Instalasi Penerangan Listrik (IPL) merupakan mata pelajaran yang wajib ditempuh peserta didik kompetensi keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik (TITL). Berdasarkan hasil observasi diketahui bahwa peserta didik hanya terpaku dengan materi yang disampaikan guru serta kurang referensi untuk belajar mandiri bagi peserta didik. Materi pada mata pelajaran instalasi penerangan listrik masih sulit dipahami oleh peserta didik. Dengan waktu praktikum yang singkat, peserta didik masih bingung terhadap materi yang menjadi dasar dalam kegiatan praktikum. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang, mengembangkan, dan mengetahui kelayakan Bahan Ajar berbasis Google Sites sebagai Pengantar Praktikum pada Materi IPL 1 Fasa. Bahan Ajar dirancang dan dikembangkan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan 4 tahapan, yaitu: (1) Analyze, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Implement, (5) Evaluate. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner yang diberikan kepada subjek uji coba yaitu ahli dan siswa. Hasil validasi dan uji coba yaitu: (1) skor rata- rata validitas dari ahli 1 sebesar 90,91%, dari ahli 2 sebesar 94,32%, dan dari ahli 3 sebesar 92,05% dengan kriteria sangat valid. (2) Uji coba yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas XI Program Keahlian TITL. Uji coba kelompok kecil dengan 10 siswa mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 91,41% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Uji coba kelompok besar dengan 33 siswa mendapatkan skor rata-rata sebesar 93,13% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar sangat layak digunakan untuk belajar siswa secara mandiri dan sebagai bahan ajar dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The increasing energy demand and environmental challenges have accelerated the global shift toward renewable energy, with Indonesia possessing a substantial solar potential of 3,294 GW. This study investigates the techno-economic feasibility of a 40.9 kWp On-Grid Solar Power Plant  as a supplementary energy source to reduce operational costs at the Tulungagung Hydropower Plant. A techno-economic analysis was conducted using 2024 solar PV production data from the ShinePhone application and the Tulungagung Hydropower business daily report, complemented by simulations from the Hybrid Optimization Model for Multiple Energy Resources (HOMER) to identify optimal system configurations. The actual solar power plant generated 52,499.9 kWh/year, contributing 15.66% of the plant's operational load of 335,150.71 kWh and resulting in annual cost savings of IDR 58,523,260, based on a PLN tariff of IDR 1,114.74/kWh. In comparison, HOMER simulations projected a higher generation of 74,265 kWh/year, with a net present cost (NPC) of IDR 6,461,879,000 and a cost of energy (COE) of IDR 1,142.36. While the PLTS has proven technically and economically viable as a complementary energy source, its current capacity remains insufficient to fully meet the hydropower plant's operational load, indicating the need for further system optimization and potential integration of energy storage solutions.

Abstract

The design and fabrication of the Jenang mixer machine are carried out to enhance the efficiency of household industrial-scale Jenang production. The machine is designed using an engineering approach based on numerical analysis and the Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DFMA) method. The drive power calculation shows a minimum requirement of 2072.7 Watts; therefore, a 3 HP electric motor equipped with a gearbox is used to produce significant torque at low revs. Analysis of the frame strength using static simulations in Fusion 360 software revealed that the machine structure had a safety factor of 15 and a maximum displacement of only 0.006 mm, indicating a robust and stable structure. The fabrication results indicate that the machine comprises 12 principal components and operates reliably in evenly stirring the Jenang dough, making it suitable for small to medium-scale production.

Abstract

High Pressure Laminate (HPL) adalah bahan pelapis yang banyak digunakan dalam industri furnitur. salah satu UMKM furnitur yaitu CV. Cahya Interior Decoration (CID) di Desa Purworejo Kecamatan Geger Kabupaten Madiun yang menggunakan HPL sebagai bahan baku utama dalam pembuatan furnitur. Pada proses pembuatan furnitur di CV. CID ada berbagai tahapan produksi yaitu pengukuran, pemotongan, pengeleman, pelapisan HPL, pentusiran, dan perakitan. Dari banyaknya tahapan, tahapan pelapisan merupakan salah satu tahapan krusial dalam pembuatan furnitur, hal ini dikarenakan proses masih dilakukan secara manual dengan scrapper yang mengandalkan daya tekan manusia, terjadi kendala dalam proses pelapisan. Proses ini sering memakan waktu yang cukup lama dan dapat menghasilkan ketidaksempurnaan dan tidak presisi. Sebagai solusi dalam permasalahan tersebut adalah menggunakan teknologi mesin pelapisan HPL. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hasil furnitur melalui penerapan mesin pelapis HPL. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi perencanaan dan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari penerapan teknologi mesin pelapis HPL ini terbukti menghasilkan kualitas yang lebih baik dan lebih rapat dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan metode konvensional atau manual. Dengan adanya teknologi mesin pelapis HPL ini diharapkan mitra dapat terus berkembang dan mengurangi kesalahan yang mengakibatkan pemborosan HPL dan memberikan solusi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Estimasi State of Charge yang akurat pada baterai Lead-Acid sangat penting untuk menjaga keandalan dan umur pakai sistem penyimpanan energi. Penelitian ini melakukan studi komparatif empat algoritma estimasi Extended Kalman Filter, Extended Kalman–Bucy Filter, Unscented Kalman Filter, dan Unscented Kalman–Bucy Filter yang diimplementasikan pada model Thevenin orde dua. Parameter baterai diperoleh melalui pengujian pulse discharge–relaxation serta pengukuran Open Circuit Voltage berarus kecil pada suhu 30 °C, 40 °C, dan 50 °C. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa Unscented Kalman Filter dan Unscented Kalman–Bucy Filter memberikan akurasi dan stabilitas terbaik pada berbagai kondisi operasi, sedangkan Extended Kalman Filter dan Extended Kalman–Bucy Filter cenderung kurang stabil terutama pada rentang State of Charge rendah akibat keterbatasan proses linearisasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa algoritma berbasis Unscented lebih sesuai untuk aplikasi Battery Management System pada baterai Lead-Acid.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan sistem irigasi pertanian di Desa Bendosewu, Kecamatan Talun, Kabupaten Blitar, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Smart Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) Off-Grid. Desa Bendosewu menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya air untuk irigasi, terutama selama musim kemarau yang panjang, yang mengakibatkan defisit air bagi lahan pertanian. Mitra sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah kelompok tani Tawang Makmur, yang terdiri dari 30 anggota. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari empat tahap: observasi lapangan, perencanaan, instalasi panel surya, dan monitoring serta evaluasi. Dalam tahap instalasi, enam panel surya berkapasitas 200Wp dirangkai menjadi sistem dengan total kapasitas 1200Wp, dilengkapi dengan control box yang berisi inverter hybrid dan alat pengaman. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat menghasilkan tegangan 220V dan mampu menyalakan pompa air berkapasitas 300W. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang potensi energi surya sebagai sumber energi ramah lingkungan serta cara pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan sistem PLTS. Dengan implementasi teknologi ini, diharapkan produktivitas pertanian dapat meningkat dan ketergantungan pada sumber energi fosil dapat berkurang, menjadikan kegiatan ini sebagai model yang dapat direplikasi di desa lain yang menghadapi masalah serupa. Kata kunci: PLTS; off-grid; sistem irigasi AbstractThis community service activity aims to optimize the agricultural irrigation system in Bendosewu Village, Talun District, Blitar Regency, by utilizing Off-Grid Solar Power Plant (SPP) Smart technology. Bendosewu Village faces challenges in managing water resources for irrigation, especially during the long dry season, which results in a water deficit for agricultural land. The target partner in this activity is the Tawang Makmur farmer group, which consists of 30 members. The implementation of the activity consisted of four stages: field observation, planning, solar panel installation, and monitoring and evaluation. In the installation stage, six solar panels with a capacity of 200Wp were assembled into a system with a total capacity of 1200Wp, equipped with a control box containing a hybrid inverter and safety devices. The test results show that the system can produce 220V voltage and is able to power a 300W water pump. This activity succeeded in increasing participants' knowledge about the potential of solar energy as an environmentally friendly energy source as well as how to operate and maintain the PLTS system. With the implementation of this technology, it is expected that agricultural productivity can increase and dependence on fossil energy sources can be reduced, making this activity a model that can be replicated in other villages facing similar problems. Keywords: solar power plant; off-grid; irigation system.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi dan informasi pada saat ini terus berkembang pesat. Salah satunya pada bidang robotika. MTs Unggulan Darul Mujtaba memiliki ektrakurikuler robotika, tetapi sudah berhenti dalam beberapa waktu karena kurangnya peralatan untuk ektrakuriler tersebut. Selain itu minimalisnya pendidik yang bisa memahami line tracer. Pelatihan ini diselenggarakan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dasar tentang robot Line Tracer dan mendemonstrasikan cara kerjanya. Pelatihan ini ditujukan pada para siswa MTs Unggulan Darul Mujtaba, kegiatan ini diselenggarakan satu hari saja (one-day activity). Metode pelaksanaan meliputi perencanaan, inti, dan evaluasi. Diharapkan dengan adanya pelatihan ini para siswa mendapat pdapatngan baru pada bidang robotika. Kata Kunci: pelatihan; robotika; line tracer. AbstractThe development of technology and information is currently growing rapidly. One of them is in the field of robotics. MTs Unggulan Darul Mujtaba has a robotics extracurricular, but it has stopped for some time due to the lack of equipment for the extracurricular. In addition, the minimalist educators who can understand line tracer. This training was held to provide basic knowledge about the Line Tracer robot and demonstrate how it works. This training is aimed at MTs Unggulan Darul Mujtaba students, this activity is held for one day only (one-day activity). Implementation methods include planning, core, and evaluation. Abstract

The utilization of solar energy is an important solution in meeting renewable energy needs, especially in Indonesia which has high irradiation potential. However, photovoltaic (PV) systems face challenges in the form of irradiation fluctuations and partial shading effects that reduce efficiency. To overcome this, a reliable Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm is needed. This study analyzes the performance of the Queen Honeybee Migration (QHBM) algorithm in tracking the maximum power point (MPP) under uncertain irradiation conditions in the Tulungagung region, using a Monte Carlo simulation approach. Simulations were conducted using MATLAB in two scenarios: standard conditions (1000 W/m²) and fluctuating conditions based on historical data. Results show that the QHBM achieves 99.98% efficiency with the fastest convergence time (5 iterations) under STC conditions, as well as an average efficiency of 98.99% (normal) and 97.86% (abnormal) under fluctuating conditions. In addition, the system successfully charged the battery, with SOC increasing by 0.038% (optimal) and 0.026% (volatile). The QHBM algorithm is proven to be adaptive to irradiation dynamics and superior to GWO, PSO, and P&O, making it a potentially effective solution for PV systems operating under changing irradiation conditions throughout the day

Abstract

This program focuses on the design and implementation of a High Pressure Laminate (HPL) coating machine based on Flexible Spring Press (FLEXIS) technology to enhance productivity at CV Cahya Interior Decoration (CID). The main issue faced by the company is the low efficiency of manual HPL coating, which requires 40 minutes per product and results in an average of 15 defective units per month. This inefficiency leads to a financial loss of Rp 1.3 million per month and reduces the company's competitiveness in meeting market demand. As a solution, the FLEXIS machine was developed using a roll press system integrated with a spring flexible mechanism, allowing for more stable automatic pressure during the coating process. The machine is designed with a hollow steel frame and equipped with bearings, a 0.5 HP electric motor, and a gearbox to ensure optimal performance. The fabrication process considers aspects of energy efficiency, ease of maintenance, and material durability. The implementation results demonstrate a significant improvement in production efficiency. The coating time per product was drastically reduced from 40 minutes to 6 minutes, the daily production capacity increased from 3 to 4 units, and the defect rate was successfully reduced to zero units. The economic impact includes a 55.9% increase in CID’s monthly revenue, from Rp 156,000,000 to Rp 204,500,000, contributing to the company’s sustainable business growth.
