Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan panjang - berat, pertumbuhan dan kelompok umur ikan cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) yang tertangkap diperairan Teluk Tomini dan didaratkan di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan Kelurahan Tenda Kota Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode random sampling. Hasil analisis hubungan panjang berat menunjukkan bahwa pola pertumbuhan ikan cakalang bersifat allometrik negatif, estimasi nilai parameter pertumbuhan dengan metode Von Bertalanffy diketahui nilai L∞ 50,2268, K 0,5891, t0 -0,0409. Terdiri dari tiga kelompok umur dengan panjang rata-rata (L1) 30,8578, (L2) 36,2150, (L3) 46,0463. Persamaan Von Bertalanffy untuk ikan cakalang Lt = 50,2268 (1-exp-0,5891(t-(-0,0409)). This study aims to determine the length-weight relationship, growth and age groups of skipjack (Katsuwonus pelamis) caught in the waters of Tomini Bay and landed at the Fish Landing Base Tenda of Gorontalo City. The method used in this study is the random sampling method. The results of the analysis of the weight length relationship show that the growth pattern of skipjack is negative allometric, the estimated value of growth parameters using the Von Bertalanffy method is known to be L∞ 50.22268, K 0.5891, t0 -0.0409. Consists of three age groups with an average length (L1) 30.8578, (L2) 36.22150, (L3) 46.0463. Von Bertalanffy's equation for skipjack Lt = 50.2268 (1-exp-0,5891(t-(-0,0409)). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of land for shore excursions and the carrying capacity of the region in the category of recreational beach activities at the beach tourist area Bolihutuo Subdistrict Botumoito, District Boalemo. Research was conducted in February 2015 until Desember 2015. The method used in this research is descriptive and qualitative methods. Data collection techniques was to measure the suitability of beach resort that is depth, type of beach, wide beaches, basic materials waters, current speed, the slope of the beach, water transparency, the closure of beach land, dangerous biota, the availability of fresh water as well as the carrying capacity of the beach recreation namely the time spent by visitors and the time provided by the manager. The result shows that Bolihutuo is in the category of very suitable (S1) with the index value of 91%. Bolihutuo Beach has a capacity of 1998 visitor per day, with an area that can be utilized by the shoreline of about 30.000m2. Keywords: Suitability; carrying capacity; beach tourism

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different types of bait on the catch of squid (Loligo Sp) using a totabito fishing gear, by comparing and seeing the effect of the catch on each bait used as treatment. This research was conducted in August 2017 - May 2018 in the waters of Tomini Gulf, in Kayubulan Village, Batudaa Beach District, Gorontalo District. The research is an experimental fishing method and uses analysis of variance in the RAL mathematical model. This study used 3 types of bait as treatment, namely mackerel as treatment A, squid as treatment B, shrimp as treatment C. The results showed that, based on the results of analysis of variance (ANOVA), the treatment of different types of bait had a significant effect, significantly different from the catch of squid. Furthermore, based on the results of further tests using the smallest significant difference (LSD), it was found that treatment C was significantly different from treatment A and B. So that treatment C could be used as an effective bait in catching squid. Keywords: Bait; squid; Loligo sp.; totabito.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui produktifitas dan kelayakan usaha bagan rakit di Desa Bulalo, Kecamatan Kwandang, Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, Provinsi Gorontalo. Analisis yang digunakan yakni analisis produktivitas dan kelayakan usaha bagan rakit. Produksi bagan rakit di Desa Bulalo mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2012 dan 2013 jika dibandingkan 2014, dimana pada tahun 2012 produksi tangkapan 2.095.172 kg, 2013 produksi tangkapan 2.138.107 kg dan tahun 2014 produksi tangkapan 1.635.933 kg. Analisis laba bagan rakit mempunyai keuntungan Rp.43.377.000/tahun, analisis RC bagan rakit 1,74 maka usaha tersebut layak dilanjutkan. Untuk analisis PP usaha bagan rakit 1,01 tahun yakni pegambilan investasi selama kurun waktu 1 tahun 8 hari. BEP produksi 11.624 kg, BEP harga Rp.2.863/kg. This study aims to determine the productivity and business feasibility of raft-lift-net in Bulalo Village, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The analysis used is the analysis of productivity and business feasibility of a raft-lift-net. Production increased in 2012 and 2013 when compared to 2014, where in 2012 the catch was 2,095,172 kg, 2013 was 2,138,107 kg and in 2014 it was 1,635,933 kg. Analysis of the profit showa that the raft-lift-net has a profit of Rp.43,377,000 / year, RC analysis of the 1.74 that indicates that the business is worth continuing. For PP analysis resulted at 1.01 year means that the investment will take 1 year and 8 days to return. Production BEP is 11,624 kg and Price BEP is Rp.2,863 / kg. Abstract

This study aims to determine the relation of length-weight and growth of mangrove crabs (Scylla serrata) in the Mootilango Village, Duhiadaa Sub-district, Pohuwato Regency. This research was conducted by observation for ± 6 months starting from September 2015 until February 2016. The sampling area covers all of Duhiadaa Sub-district mangrove forest with random sampling method. The result of the research shows that the relationship between carapace length and weight of mangrove crab (Scylla serrata) has the equation W = 6,026L2,444 with correlation (R2) = 0,850. Crab population consist of three age group (L1 = 61,66666667cm, L2 = 17,81981982, and L3 = 0,176691729 cm). While the maximum carapace length (L∞) reach 17.204 cm with a growth rate coefficient of 0.2133 per year. Keywords: length; weight; growth; mangrove crab; Scylla serrata

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas ikan yang di perairan Danau Limboto, di wilayah Desa Pentadio Barat, Kecamatan Telaga Biru, Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Bulan Oktober sampai Bulan Desember 2013, dengan mengambil 5 titik lokasi pengambilan sampel. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan sebanyak 2 kali dalam setiap stasiun, yaitu pada pagi hari pukul 08.00 dan malam hari pukul 20.00, masing-masing diulang 2 kali dengan alat tangkap jaring insang (gill net) ukuran mata jaring 2 inci dan 21/4 inci. Pengukuran kualitas air dilakukan secara insitu pada lokasi penelitian saat pengambilan sampel ikan.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa di temukan 9 spesies ikan yang berasal dari 6 famili. Spesies Oreochromis niloticus memiliki komposisi jenis tertinggi sebesar 69,02 % dan komposisi jenis terendah dari spesies Trichogaster pectoralis sebanyak 0,302% dan spesies Oxyeleotris marmorata sebanyak 0,302%. Indeks Keanekaragaman jenis (H') seluruh stasiun berkisar antara 0,665 - 0,981 dengan kategori rendah, indeks keseragaman (E) 0,49 - 0,609 masuk kategori rendah, dan indeks dominasi seluruh stasiun 0,49 - 0,589 juga masuk kategori rendah. Hasil pengukuran beberapa parameter kualitas air menunjukan kondisi perairan yang kurang baik untuk kehidupan ikan. Kata Kunci :Danau Limboto, Komunitas Ikan, Desa Pentadio Barat

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine Escherichia coli bacterial content in chunks of yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacores) sold in Central Market Gorontalo. This study uses descriptive analysis method which gives an idea as carefully as possible about an individual, state, symptom, or a particular group. Based on observations of the total MPN Coliform samples A, B and C have MPN coliform exceed ISO standards for quality and food safety requirements of fresh fish, ie 24.00 MPN / g. Test EMBA (Eosin Methylene Blue Agar (EMBA) indicates that the Tuna Yellowfin positive for the bacterium Escherichia coli with colors that are characterized by green metalic. Pieces of tuna sold in the central market town Gorontalo safe to eat at 08:00 am, while at 10:00 am and 12:00 am bacterial content becomes a lot more. The longer the fish are displayed at table without any effort to maintain the quality of the fish, the more the bacteria contained in the fish. Abstract

Penelitaian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh perlakuan konsentrasi belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi. L) dan lama penyimpanan ikan teri (Stolephorus heterolobus) asin kering dari aspek mikrobiologi (total bakteri / TPC.). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode ekperimental laboratories. Rancangan percobaanya memakai rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) Faktorial. Perlakuan pertama (C ) adalah konsentrasi belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi. L) (tiga taraf: C1= 100 mg/ ml , C2 = 200 mg/ ml dan C3 = 300 mg/ ml ) sedangakan perlakuan kedua (T) adalah lama penyimpanan (Tiga Taraf: T1= 0 hari , T2 = 15 hari dan T3 = 30 hari ). Abstract

Kawasan wisata Pantai Botutonuo di Kecamatan Kabila Bone, Kabupaten Bone Bolango adalah alternatif wisata alam yang sering dikunjungi wisatawan lokal maupun asing untuk berenang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kesesuaian lahan dan daya dukung kawasan wisata tersebut. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai Desember 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif dan kualitatif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan membagi 3 stasiun lokasi penelitian, yaitu Stasiun 1 bagian utara, Stasiun 2 bagian tengah, dan Stasiun 3 bagian selatan. Setelah data dikumpulkan maka dilakukan analisis kesesuaian lahan dan daya dukung kawasan menurut Yulianda (2007). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indeks kesesuaian lahan wisata Pantai Botutonuo sebagai tempat wisata kategori berenang adalah sangat sesuai dengan nilai 81%. Kawasan wisata Pantai Botutonuo dapat menampung pengunjung dengan jumlah maksimal sebanyak 16.260 pengunjung/hari. Apabila pengujung melebihi batas maksimal maka dapat berdampak negatif terhadap ekosistem, oleh karena itu pengoperasian kawasan wisata ini harus memperhatikan jumlah pengunjung agar pemanfaatannya dapat berlanjut dan lestari. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui komposisi jenis, kerapatan dan tingkat kemerataan lamun di Desa Otiola Kecamatan Ponelo Kepulauan Kabupaten Gorontalo Utara, yang dilaksanakan pada Bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2013. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode transek dan petak contoh (Transect Plot), dengan menempatkan transek kuadrat ukuran 1 x 1 meter yang dibagi menjadi 25 buah kisi ukuran 20 cm pada hamparan lamun. Setiap transek kuadran ukuran 1 x 1 meter, jumlah tegakan lamun dihitung dalam petak ukuran 20x20 cm dan diambil sebanyak lima kali secara acak sebagai keterwakilan data. Analisis varians (ANOVA) digunakan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antar stasiun pengamatan. Hasil pengamatan, ditemukan 4 jenis lamun di Desa Otiola yang termasuk dalam 2 famili yaitu famili Hydrocharitaceae dengan 3 jenis yaitu Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, dan Halophila ovalis serta famili Potamogetonaceae hanya 1 jenis yaitu Cymodocea rotundata. Tingkat kemerataan tertinggi terdapat pada stasiun 2 dengan nilai indeks kemerataan 0,53 kemudian 0.52 pada stasiun 3 dan 0.50 pada stasiun 1. Tingkat kemerataan di seluruh stasiun masuk dalam ketegori sedang. Kata kunci: Lamun, Komposisi jenis, Kerapatan, Tingkat kemerataan
