Abstract

This study aims to develop a PMRI-based Social Arithmetic learning video in the junior high school that is valid, practical, and has a potential effect to support the mental calculation of junior high school students in Social Arithmetic issues. This type of research is a modified development study between Rowntree and Tessmer. There are 3 stages in this research namely planning stage, development stage, and evaluation phase. In the development process, this research involves experts as validators of a learning video developed. The subjects of this study are students of grade VII Islamic Junior High School Raudhatul Ulum Sakatiga Indralaya as many as 22 people. The result of this research shows that the learning video developed by this researcher is valid by the experts who tested 3 aspects i.e. material aspect, media display and instructional design; practice based on result of one to one scale that is testing the product on 3 students with different skills and on a small group scale of 6 people; and having a potential effect to support students' mental calculation in social arithmetic problems.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis merupakan suatu nilai orisinalitas dan keunikan cara penyampaian siswa atau penyelesaian dalam memecahkan suatu permasalahan matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMK pada materi trigonometri dalam pembelajaran berbasis HOTS dengan indikator kemampuan berpikir kreatif yaitu kelancaran (fluency), keluwesan (flexibility), dan kebaruan (originality). Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TKJ 4 di SMKN 2 Palembang tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, tes berupa 3 butir soal HOTS uraian materi trigonometri untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil dari observasi, kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis dapat terlihat pada sebagian besar siswa dan pada LKPD di pelaksanaan pembelajaran tampak siswa cukup tertarik pada materi trigonometri dengan pembelajaran berbasis HOTS. Berdasarkan hasil tes, kelas XI TKJ 4 pada indikator kelancaran yaitu rata-rata skor 2,74 atau 68,52% termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada indikator keluwesan (flexibility) dengan rata-rata skor 2,33 atau 58,33% termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Lalu kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa pada indikator berpikir kebaruan (originality) dengan rata-rata skor 1,59 atau 39,81% termasuk dalam kategori rendah.Mathematical creative thinking ability is a value of originality and uniqueness in the way students deliver or solve a mathematical problem. This study aims to describe the mathematical creative thinking skills of SMK students on trigonometry in HOTS-based learning with indicators of creative thinking abilities, namely fluency, flexibility, and originality. The subjects in this study were students of class XI TKJ 4 at SMKN 2 Palembang in the academic year 2021-2022. The data collection technique in this study used observation, a test in the form of 2 HOTS questions, a description of trigonometry material to measure students' mathematical creative thinking skills, and interviews. Based on the results of observations, the ability to think creatively mathematically can be seen in most students and in the LKPD in the implementation of learning, it appears that students are quite interested in trigonometry material with HOTS-based learning. Based on the test results, class XI TKJ 4 on the indicator of fluency, which is an average score of 2.74 or 68.52%, is included in the high category. Then the flexibility indicator with an average score of 2.33 or 58.33% is in the medium category. Meanwhile, the novelty indicator with an average score of 1.59 or 39,81% is in the low category.
