Abstract

Provinsi Sumatera Barat memiliki atraksi wisata alam yang indah, berada di daratan maupun kepulauannya. Perpaduan bentang alam yang terhampar mulai dari laut hingga puncak gunungnya menjadikan provinsi Sumatera Barat sebagai salah satu destinasi andalan nasional. Saat ini, fokus pengembangan kepariwisataan Sumatera Barat adalah wilayah pesisir. Daerah yang sedang mengembangkan atraksi wisata pesisir adalah Kota Padang, Kab. Padang Pariaman dan Kota Pariaman. Penelitian ini berusaha menunjukkan bahwa untuk mendukung pengembangan kepariwisataan pesisir, upaya promosi yang tepat perlu dilakukan. Salah satu kegiatan promosi yang diselenggarakan pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Barat adalah event balap sepeda Tour de Singkarak (TdS). Penelitian ini berusaha memberikan gambaran tentang kepariwisataan Sumatera Barat secara umum, serta kawasan pesisir pada khususnya. Upaya promosi pariwisata yang tepat perlu dikembangkan untuk wilayah pesisir, terutama pantai. Hasil observasi lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kepariwisataan daratan dan pesisir (kepulauan) Sumatera Barat telah berkembang, setiap daerah fokus pada potensi yang dimiliki. Upaya memajukan kepariwisataan didukung dengan kegiatan promosi yang diinisiasi oleh pemerintah provinsi Sumatera Barat melalui penyelenggaraan even TdS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisa deskriptif kualitatif, data yang diperoleh berdasarkan wawancara serta dukungan data sekunder dijelaskan secara runut dan terperinci dalam laporan ini.

Abstract

Pengabdian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan pengelolaan homestay di Desa Muntei, Madobag Dan Matotonan, Kecamatan Siberut Selatan, Kabupaten Kep. Mentawai. Kegiatan pelatihan homestay ini dapat membantu masyarakat sebagai pengelola homestay dan pokdarwis sebagai lembaga pengelola desa wisata. Peserta kegiatan pelatihan ini berjumlah 25 orang. Hasil Kegiatan pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa pengelola tiga desa harus memahami pengelolaan homestay secara baik dan benar seperti kebersihan, pencahayaan ruangan harus cukup dan baik, tersedianya fasilitas mandi cuci dan kakus, dan ketersediaan air bersih. Hal-hal itu masih banyak diabaikan oleh para pengelola tiga desa wisata tersebut. Pengelolaan homestay yang baik dan benar. harus diperhatikan apabila tiga desa wisata ingin berkembang dan maju. Abstract

Tour De Singkarak is the name of an international bicycle race competition held by the government of West Sumatra Province since 2009 ago. The event was held as one of the West Sumatra government efforts to promote tourism and attract tourist visits. The central government through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy supports the implementation of this grand event. Every year the number of participants and countries participating in this event increases. One of them is influenced by the increasing nominal prize that can be accepted by the participants. The implementation of TDS events cost not a little, in 2013 the TDS budget reached 4.5 billion Rupiahs. The TDS event was held in West Sumatra to show the world about the tourism potential of West Sumatra. West Sumatra has diverse natural tourism potentials, some of which are part of TDS, among others: Lake Singkarak, Equatorial Bonjol Monument, Harau Valley, Rajo Baso Palace (Pagaruyung), Maninjau Lake (kelok 44), Jam Gadang, Padang Pariaman Beach, Lake Kandis, Lake Kembar, and Beaches on Pesisir Selatan. Most of the TDS stages pass through tourist attractions with extraordinary beauty. Until the last event in 2013, the TDS event had not been considered to provide a continuous contribution to the 3 main aspects, economic, social and environmental in West Sumatra. It is undeniable that this event increases the attractiveness of tourism in West Sumatra in the eyes of the International, but this acquisition is not sustainable and cannot meet the requirements of sustainability. Attractive packaging must be supported by the best quality, TDS events with the international level are expected to be able to provide long-term impact on economic, social and environmental factors.

Abstract

Tour De Singkarak merupakan nama sebuah ajang perlombaan balap sepedainternasional yang digelar oleh pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Barat sejak 2009 silam.Even ini dilaksanakan sebagai salah satu upaya pemerintah Sumatera Barat untukmempromosikan pariwisata dan menarik kunjungan wisatawan. Pemerintah pusat melaluiKementrian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif mendukung pelaksanakan even akbartersebut. Setiap tahun jumlah peserta dan Negara yang berpartisipasi dalam even inisemakin bertambah. Hal tersebut salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh semakin besarnyanominal hadiah yang dapat diterima oleh para peserta. Penyelenggaraan even TDSmemakan biaya yang tidak sedikit, pada tahun 2013 anggaran TDS mencapai 4.5 milyar.Even TDS dilaksanakan di Sumatera Barat untuk memperlihatkan kepada duniatentang potensi wisata Sumatera Barat. Sumatera Barat memiliki potensi wisata alamyang beragam, beberapa diantaranya yang menjadi bagian dari TDS antara lain: DanauSingkarak, Tugu khatulistiwa Bonjol, Lembah Harau, Istano Rajo Baso (Pagaruyung),Danau Maninjau (kelok 44), Jam Gadang, Pantai Padang Pariaman, Danau Kandis,Danau Kembar, dan Pantai-pantai di pesisir selatan. Hampir sebagian besar etape (rute)TDS melewati tempat-tempat wisata dengan pesona yang luar biasa.Hingga pelaksanaan terakhir pada tahun 2013, even TDS belum dianggapmemberikan kontribusi yang berkelanjutan terhadap 3 aspek utamanya, ekonomi, sosial,dan lingkungan di Sumatera Barat. Tidak dapat dipungkiri even ini meningkatkan dayatarik pariwisata Sumatera Barat di mata Internasional, tetapi perolehan tersebut tidaklahberkelanjutan dan tidak dapat memenuhi prasayarat keberlanjutan. Kemasan yangmenarik harus didukung oleh kualitas yang terbaik, even TDS yang berlevel internasionaldiharapkan mampu memberikan dampak jangka panjang terhadap faktor ekononomi,sosial, dan lingkungan.Kata Kunci: Tour de Singkarak, Analisis SWOT, Promosi Pariwisata, dan PariwisataBerkelanjutan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the inadequacy of main facilities, supporting facilities and supporting facilities on Cambai Hilltop Tourism Solok Regency. This study aims to determine and describe Visitor Perceptions of Cambai Hilltop Tourism Attraction Facilities. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive research. The study population used a purposive sample that focused on selected informants. Research informants consisted of 3 visitors, 1 manager and 1 community member. Data was collected through interviews and observations. The steps of analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the facilities of the Puncak Bukit Cambai Tourism Attraction of Solok Regency consisted of main facilities, supporting facilities and supporting facilities. The main facilities at the Cambai Hilltop Tourism Attraction are quite good. Supporting facilities at the Puncak Bukit Cambai tourist attraction are quite satisfactory, the supporting facilities at the Puncak Bukit Cambai tourist attraction are not satisfactory as seen from the condition of the toilet of the Puncak Bukit Cambai tourist attraction is still in a state of uncleanliness because it is still in the renovation stage. The condition of the parking lot is narrow, so the number of vehicles parked is limited and there is no vehicle protection such as the roof in the parking area. Access to the tourist attraction of Puncak Bukit Cambai is still not good.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to facilities to guest satisfaction. The research aims to obtain information and describe the influence of facilities on knowledge satisfaction at Legen Villa Lubuk Minturun. The method used in this study is quantitative. Using primary data and secondary data. Guests who have stayed and who are staying are the population of this study. The sample used in this study amounted to 85 guests with a non-probability sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire based on a likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. The tool used for data processing is SPSS 25. The results obtained from the study were that the facility variable was classified as sufficient based on statistical calculations with an average respondent achievement rate (TCR) of 72% and guest satisfaction was classified as a good category based on statistical calculations with an average respondent achievement rate (TCR) of 79.35%. In this study, the Beta or Satandardized Coefficient value of the facility variable (X) was 0.408 with a Thical value (3.225) with a significance of 0.002 < 0.05, which showed that the facility variable had a positive influence on guest satisfaction (Y). The Adjusted R Square value was 0.334, which showed the contribution of the influence of the facility variable by 33.4%, and the remaining 66.6% was influenced by other variables that were not studied

Abstract

Padang City's tourism sector has great potential, but there is no data-based destination recommendation system for beach tourism. This study develops a recommendation system using the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) and Multi-Objective Optimization on the basis of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) methods. The system evaluates 10 alternative beaches based on five criteria: entrance fees, safety, operating hours, facilities, and cleanliness. Criteria weights are determined objectively using ROC, while destination rankings are calculated using MOORA. The results show that destination A4 obtained the highest score (Yi = 0.3015). This system is proven to be able to provide objective recommendations and can be implemented in the form of a web application to support the decisions of tourists and destination managers. This study contributes to the integration of the ROC-MOORA method in the tourism domain based on decision support systems.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at Nagari Maninjau Tourism Village, West Sumatra. Nagari Maninjau Tourism Village has great potential in tourism. The objectives of this activity are: 1) Increasing youth knowledge in digital use, 2) Developing youth creativity in creating tourism content, especially MSMEs and homestays, 3) Having a positive impact on business actors to create a creative and innovative environment. The target of this activity is the youth of Nagari Maninjau who take part in training activities, especially the Maninjau Kreative group. The method of implementing this community service is carried out through 4 processes, namely: preparation, digital marketing training, creative digital process assistance, and assessment. Mentoring activities are carried out by direct visits and online via WhatsApp. Assessment is carried out to find out how the impact of activities that have been carried out by the community. The results of this activity are the increased knowledge of youth in digital marketing, then the implementation of homestay video content and culinary product design, to the formation of the Maninjau Kreatif group and Instagram Maninjau Kreatif Forum.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of price and location on purchase intention in the context of UNP Hospitality Laundry, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 respondents through purposive sampling and analyzed using descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression analysis. Results reveal that both price and location have positive and significant effects on purchase intention, with price showing a slightly stronger standardized coefficient. These findings support the Price–Value Theory and Location Theory, emphasizing that competitive pricing aligned with perceived quality, along with strategic and accessible location, are critical determinants of consumer decision-making in service industries. Theoretically, this research extends the application of these theories to the hospitality laundry sector, a relatively underexplored service niche in emerging markets. Practically, the results suggest that service providers should maintain price–quality alignment, improve price accessibility, and enhance location visibility beyond regular operational hours to attract more customers. For hospitality managers, integrating competitive pricing strategies with location-based service improvements may increase customer purchase intention and strengthen market competitiveness. Future studies could incorporate additional variables such as service quality, customer satisfaction, and brand image to provide a more comprehensive understanding of purchase behavior in hospitality services.
