Abstract

This study was aimed at investigating the management which was used to do the traditional performing art in Yogyakarta palace as a form of overcoming the cultural tourism crisises. The research used qualitative approach. Participant obser- vations,  indepth interviews,  documentation  study were conducted  to collect  data. The results show that  the management which was used to doing the traditional per- forming arts in Yogyakarta  palace used management  functions,  like performance programe  (planning),  performance  actuating,   performance  organize  (organizing), and performance controll (controlling). The management applications could be used by Yogyakarta palace as  a form of  overcoming the cultural tourism crisises

Abstract

Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan, memiliki beberapa daerah perbatasan yang rentan akibat globalisasi. Tingginya akses mobilisasi baik barang, jasa, maupun perseorangan membuat daerah perbatasan rentan terjadinya degradasi nasionalisme. Pihak yang sangat rentan akibat fenomena ini adalah warga negara muda. Salah satu upaya yang dapat ditempuh untuk menguatkan nasionalisme melalui pendidikan formal. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang memiliki tujuan untuk menumbuhkan nasionalisme pada warga negara muda adalah Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mereformulasikan Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan untuk menguatkan nasionalisme warga negara muda di wilayah perbatasan. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam menyusun karya tulis ini yaitu library research dan kajian hasil penelitian mengenai penguatan karakter nasionalisme melalui pembelajaran PPKn. Hasil pembahasan dimaksudkan reformulasi PPKn mengarahkan peserta didik untuk memiliki kompetensi “act locally and think globally”. Kompetensi ini untuk melestarikan nilai-nilai berpangkal pada kualitas ke-Indonesiaan dengan cara pandang internasional. Melalui reformasi PPKn akan mendorong penguatan nasionalisme warga negara muda di wilayah perbatasan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk pemuliaan tanaman padi melalui pertunjukan wayang kulit lakon Dewi Sri dalam upacara Bersih Desa. Pendekatan penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Geneng, Trucuk, Klaten, Jawa Tengah dari bulan Mei   hingga September  2017. Sebagai subjek penelitian adalah masyarakat petani Desa Geneng,  sesepuh Desa Geneng, dalang wayang kulit, pengrawit, jurukunci makam, penjual makanan, dan peziarah. Cara pengumpulan data ditempuh  dengan: observasi, dokumentasi, studi pustaka, dan wawancara. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan tahapan: koleksi data, reduksi data, pemeriksaan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk mengetahui keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan, bahwa: (1) Tata cara pemuliaan tanaman padi adalah dengan mengadakan upacara Bersih Desa meliputi pembersihan manusia dan lingkungan secara  fisik dan batin di Desa geneng yang disertai doa berssama,  (2) Tata cara pemuliaan tanaman padi adalah dengan mempresentasiknan Lakon Dewi Sri dalam pertunjukan wayang kulit, yang mengisahkan bahwa kehidupan manusia sangat tergantung pada kehidupan Dewi Sri yang memberi kesejahteraan umat manusia.This study aims to describe the form of rice plant breeding through shadow puppet  performing art  in Bersih Desa ritual. The research approach used is qualitative approach. The research was conducted in Geneng, Trucuk, Klaten, Central Java from May to September 2017. As the research subjects were farmers of Geneng Village, Geneng village elders, puppeteer puppeteers, pengrawit, jurukunci graves, food vendors, and pilgrims. Data collection is done by: observation, documentation, literature study, and interview. Research data is analyzed by stages: data collection, data reduction, data examination, and conclusion. To know the validity of data is done with triangulation. The expected result of this research is the form of rice plant breeding through wayang kulit kulit play Dewi Sri in Clean Village ceremony is a cultural activity consisting of: (1) Procedure of rice plant breeding is to conduct a physical and mental cleansing ceremony in Geneng Village accompanied by a prayer together, (2) The procedure of rice plant breeding is by presenting Dewi Sri in the wayang kulit show, which tells us that human life is very dependent on the life of Dewi Sri giving the welfare of mankind.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat pembentukan profil pelajar Pancasila di SD Negeri Deresan. Selain itu, dirumuskan strategi SWOT untuk meningkatkan pembentukkan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif. Adapun analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif. Data yang digunakan berupa data primer hasil wawancara dengan guru SD Negeri Deresan dan data sekunder melalui analisis kajian hasil penelitian sebelumnya mengenai faktor-faktor pendukung dan faktor-faktor penghambat implementasi penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam upaya pembentukan profil pelajar Pancasila. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukkan profil pelajar Pancasila di SD Negeri Deresan terdapat faktor-faktor pendukung internal diantaranya terdapat mata pelajaran PPKn dan Pembiasaan bersalaman yang menjadi alternatif awal pembentukkan profil pekajar Pancasila. Sedangkan faktor pendukung ekternal yaitu dengan adanya kurikulum 2013 menjadi basis awal untuk melaksanakan penguatan karakter pada peserta didik. Faktor-faktor penghambat internal meliputi terbatasnya kemampuan guru untuk menginterpretasikan mengenai profil pelajar Pancasila, kurangnya kemandirian guru untuk belajar secara mandiri melalui website yang telah disediakan. Adapun faktor-faktor penghambat meliputi belum adanya sosialisasi dan belum adanya bimtek yang spesifik mengenai pembentukan profil pelajar Pancasila, dan belum tersedianya modul dan kondisi pandemi yang menyulitkan pembentukkan profil pelajar Pancasila. Strategi yang ditawarkan yaitu mulai dari pembuatan modul integratif dari pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah daerah. Rencana mengambil dua parameter dari profil pelajar Pancasila yaitu kebhinnekaan dan kemandirian (kewirausahaan) yang diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan sekolah. Kebhinnekaan diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan ta’ziah atau melayat bersama siswa untuk membentuk sosio-tolerance dan kewirausahaan diimplementasikan melalui kegiatan membatik yang dipamerkan dan diperjual-beliakan dalam even-even peringatan hari besar di SD Negeri Deresan.This study aims to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of the Pancasila student profile at SD Negeri Deresan. In addition, a SWOT strategy was formulated to increase the building of the Pancasila Student Profile. The method used is qualitative. The analysis was carried out descriptively. The data used in the form of primary data from interviews with SD Negeri Deresan teachers and secondary data through an analysis of the results of previous studies regarding the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of strengthening character education in an effort to form a profile of Pancasila students. The results showed that the formation of the profile of Pancasila students at SD Negeri Deresan contained internal supporting factors including PPKn subjects and the habit of shaking hands which became the initial alternative for forming the profile of Pancasila students. While external supporting factors, namely the existence of the 2013 curriculum, became the initial basis for carrying out character strengthening in students. Internal inhibiting factors include the limited ability of teachers to interpret the profile of Pancasila students, the lack of teacher independence to study independently through the website that has been provided. The inhibiting factors include the absence of socialization and the absence of specific guidance and technology regarding the formation of a Pancasila student profile, and the unavailability of modules and pandemic conditions that make it difficult to form a Pancasila student profile. The strategy offered is starting from making integrative modules from the central government and local governments. The plan takes two parameters from the Pancasila student profile, namely diversity and independence (entrepreneurship) which are integrated into school activities. Diversity is integrated in ta'ziah activities or mourning with students to form socio-tolerance and entrepreneurship is implemented through batik activities which are exhibited and traded in big day commemoration events at SD Negeri Deresan.

Abstract

Blora’s kentrung has changed as a performing arts so we can see its performance at big stage not only at small events. It becomes an art icon. The government strives for this art to remain sustainable, by bringing it up as an entertainment art for the people. Its educative values include the teaching of life philosophy in line with Walisongo teachings in a chronicle story supplemented with advice, prayer, and pantun in performances that entertain the audience. It is called "sipat rong puluh" or "the twenty character" in harmony with Javanese script which amounts to twenty. But there are two times the translation of "sipat rong puluh" with different explanations so that the number becomes forty points in the life philosophy, described as life philoshophy in particular for a Muslim. Because it is still closely related to Javanese beliefs that always maintain a balance between humans, God, and nature, it can also be applied in general to every human being to obtain a balanced life.

Abstract

The rapid development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the 21st century has influenced various aspects of people’s lives, one of which is in the educational field. ICT has a vital role in the development of learning systems. This study aims to analyze the elementary school students’ ICT literacy skills in the border area of Cirebon Regency. The research method used was a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques utilized a questionnaire. The research sample consisted of 157 grade V elementary school students in the Sedong Sub-district located on the border of Cirebon Regency, Indonesia. The results showed that 82% of students had ICT devices, such as laptops, smartphones, or tablets, with 61% of students accustomed to using ICT devices in their daily lives for between 2-6 hours per day. However, the students’ ICT literacy level was still at level 1 out of 6 levels. Only 32% of students used ICT devices to find information as needed, and 27% of students utilized ICT devices for discussion about learning. Students used it more for entertainment, such as listening to music, watching videos, playing games, and joking with their friends on social media. In this case, students need guidance and direction in using ICT devices to be used as needed in daily life even though they are in the border area between regions. This study’s benefit is to see the percentage of elementary school students’ ICT literacy level as a preliminary study for other ongoing studies.

Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka (IKM) menjadi topik utama untuk Lembaga Pendidikan sekarang ini. Terlebih lagi untuk tahun ajaran baru mendatang, semua sekolah diharapkan sudah mulai menerapkan IKM dalam pelaksanaan Pendidikan di lingkungan masing-masing. Sayangnya, masih banyak sekolah-sekolah dan para guru belum memahami sepenuhnya atau bahkan mengenal kurikulum baru ini. MAN 3 Bantul merupakan sekolah di Kabupaten Bantul khususnya di level MA yang ditunjuk sebagai sekolah piloting dibawah Lembaga Kementerian Agama. Namun pada kenyataannya, masih banyak hal yang belum dipahami secara baik khususnya oleh para guru dan juga civitas di sekolah tersebut dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Maka tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dan pendampingan secara intensif agar semua civitas khususnya guru mampu memahami dan menerapkan IKM dengan berbagai dimensinya secara maksimal. Pelaksanaannya adalah dalam bentuk workshop selama 3 hari dengan output Lembar Kerja (LK) dari setiap sesi diantaranya Analisis TP dan KKTP, penilaian, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, modul ajar dan P5-PPRA. Kegiatan ini diharapkan menjadi kegiatan yang bermanfaat untuk melakukan sosialisasi secara intensif terkait IKM para guru-guru MAN 3 Bantul sebagai garda terdepan dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka di tahun ajaran baru mendatang.

Abstract

This community service program aims to develop a technology for producing organic soap made from used cooking oil and herbal plants from local community gardens as an innovative by-product for the Kosagrha Lestari Farmers Group in Medokan Ayu, Surabaya. The organic soap is produced using used cooking oil processed through a saponification method, combined with local herbal extracts such as lemongrass and mint leaves, which offer skin health benefits. The activity was carried out in the form of training and mentoring sessions for members of the farmers group, focusing on raw material management, soap-making processes, and product marketing strategies. The results showed that the produced soap had good quality and was safe for use. This program not only successfully reduces environmental pollution by utilizing waste cooking oil but also empowers the farmers group by enhancing their entrepreneurial skills. It opens up new market opportunities, improves economic well-being, and supports environmental sustainability by reducing the use of synthetic chemicals..
