Abstract

The occurrence of stunting in toddlers is often unnoticed, and after two years, it is seen that the toddler is short. Chronic nutritional problems in toddlers are caused by poor nutritional intake for a long time due to parents/families do not know or are not aware to provide food that suits their child's nutritional needs. The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the sociocultural community that forms the understanding of toddler mothers about stunting, consumption patterns, personal and hygienic parenting patterns, and the environment of the Kapuas riverbank area of Tanjung Hilir Pontianak City. The research method is Qualitative Research using a Descriptive research design. The sample in this study was 40 toddlers aged 24-59 months. Sampling techniques using purposive sampling method, Data analysis is done descriptively. The study results obtained fostering patterns in toddlers' normal nutritional status, and stunting nutritional status has the same parenting pattern. Feeding children in a day less than three times a day in toddlers stunting nutritional status. Environmental sanitation or hygiene assessment in the Kapuas Tanjung Hilir River Bank area showing an unhealthy environment. Conclusion There are differences in usage that form the mother's understanding of stunting, consumption patterns, parenting patterns, and personal and environmental hygiene in the Kapuas Tanjung Hilir River Bank area.

Abstract

Pengetahuan gizi yang rendah akan mengakibatkan kebiasaan makan yang salah sehingga dapat menimbulkan masalah gizi pada remaja. Pencegahan timbulnya masalah gizi tersebut, memerlukan kegiatan edukasi gizi bertema empat pilar gizi seimbang melalui media yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi remaja. Saat ini media sosial Instagram menjadi media sosial popular di kalangan remaja yang dapat dijadikan sebagai media edukasi gizi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi melalui Instagram bertema empat pilar gizi seimbang terhadap pengetahuan gizi remaja putra di SMA Negeri Kecamatan Pontianak Kota.Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre-experiment dengan desain penelitian one group pre test – post test. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja putra SMA Negeri di kecamatan Pontianak Kota, yaitu SMA N 4 dan SMA N 8 Kota Pontianak. Sampel sebanyak 35 dipilih dengan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui proses bergulir dari satu responden ke responden lainnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan peneliti. data dianalisis dengan Uji Wilcoxon untuk melihat perbedaan pengetahuan gizi sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi gizi.Didapatkan nilai p (p-value) sebesar 0,000 yang artinya ada perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan intervensi gizi berupa edukasi gizi terhadap pengetahuan gizi remaja putra SMA di Kecamatan Pontianak Kota.Pendidikan gizi melalui Instagram bertema Empat Pilar Gizi Seimbang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi remaja

Abstract

Nutritional problems are still a serious impact on the quality of human resources in Indonesia, especially the problem of double nutrition in children under five. Underweight is one of the serious nutritional problems that need to be addressed in addition to stunting. The handling of undernourished children under five is done by providing additional food (PMT). One of the local ingredients that can be made is dry noodles, which are high in micronutrients. Making noodles can be modified from local ingredients, including yellow sweet potato where sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas L) is a type of tuber that has many advantages. Noodles can be enriched with nutrients by adding micronutrients sourced from local peatlands, namely snakehead fish and red ferns. Snakehead fish has a protein content of 25.2%, and contains albumin 62.24 g/kg (6.22%). While the red fern contains the minerals Calcium and Iron 291.32 mg per 100 mg of material, allowing it to prevent anemia. This study aims to determine the Substitution of Noodles Source of Micronutrients Local Food Ingredients on Peat Land on Nutritional Quality and Acceptability of Underweight Toddlers Age 24-59 Months in the District of Rasau Jaya. The design of this research is pure experimental (true experiment. The number of panelists is 30 people. Statistical test using Friedman statistical test to analyze the differences in substitution of yellow sweet potato, snakehead fish and red fern on organoleptic quality (color, taste, aroma, and texture). Test results acceptability based on the average amount according to color, aroma, taste, and texture on dry noodles as a whole obtained the highest results in treatment 1, namely F1 with a total of 451. The best value was obtained in treatment P1, where the best treatment was the treatment with the highest NP value, namely P1 of 0.78 with the following characteristics: color 3.83 (somewhat like), aroma 3.97 (somewhat like), taste 3.53 (somewhat like), texture 3.53 (somewhat like), Like) Friedman test results showed that there was no effect of the addition of yellow sweet potato, snakehead fish extraction and red fern extraction on d I accept the color, taste, aroma and texture of dry noodles.

Abstract

Stunting in children reflects the failure to thrive in children under five. so the child becomes too short for his age. This is due to chronic malnutrition that occurs from the womb until age two. Empowerment of cadres is a strategy used to increase the ability and realize the independence of cadres in carrying out their roles and functions in the development of public health. This study aims to determine the effect of empowering posyandu cadres in detecting stunting for toddlers aged 0-24 months in Desa Kapur, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. The research design used was experimental research using a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. Before the treatment was given a pretest (initial test) and, at the end, was given a posttest (final test). the number of samples as many as 35 people. Data were taken using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of training in measuring body length using a length board on the skills of cadres in taking measurements for toddlers aged 0-24 months with a significant value (p = 0.000). There is an increase in the ability of cadres to detect stunting after training in measuring body length using a length board from 0% to 100%. Body length measurement training for Posyandu cadres is a form of Empowering Posyandu Cadres in Stunting Control Models at 1000 HPK in Desa Kapur, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Hingga saat ini penyakit diare masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di negara berkembang karena angka kesakitan dan kematian masih tinggi pada bayi dan anak-anak Pemberian makanan pendamping ASI terlalu dini akan menyebabkan bayi mudah terkena diare sebab sisem pencernaan bayi umur 0-6 bulan masih belum matur/sempurna dan belum siap menerima berbagai jenis makanan.Tujuan: Menganalisis risiko dari porsi, frekuensi, bentuk dan usia pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) terhadap kejadian diare pada anak usia 7 – 59 bulan.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan rancangan case control. Lokasi penelitian adalah di Wilayah kerja puskesmas Sungai Raya Dalam. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah anak yang menderita diare akut usia 7 – 59 bulan sebesar 40 kasus dan 40 kontrol. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil: usia pemberian MP-ASI yang tidak tepat berpeluang 2,33 kali lebih besar untuk terkena diare. Anak dengan frekuensi pemberian MP-ASI tidak tepat berpeluang 1,42 kali lebih besar untuk terkena diare. Anak dengan porsi pemberian MP-ASI yang tidak tepat berpeluang 3,86 kali lebih besar untuk terkena diare.Kesimpulan: Usia pemberian, frekuensi pemberian, bentuk dan porsi pemberian MP-ASI yang tidak tepat pada balita usia 7-59 bulan memiliki risiko atau berpeluang besar mengalami diare.

Abstract

Sarapan mempunyai peranan penting bagi remaja, yaitu untuk pemenuhan gizi di pagi hari. Tanpa sarapan yang cukup, otak akan sulit berkonstentrasi di sekolah. Remaja sering melewatkan waktu makan (terutama sarapan) dengan alasan sibuk. Hasil studi yang dilakukan pada remaja usia 13-16 tahun di Amerika Serikat dan Eropa pada tahun 1970 hingga 2004 di pedesaan dan perkotaan menunjukkan sebanyak 10-30% mempunyai kebiasaan tidak sarapan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi gizi dengan media buku diary terhadap pengetahuan sarapan, jumlah asupan sarapan dan jenis makanan sarapan di SMP Kristen Maranatha Siantan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan pendekatan One Group Pre-Posttest Design.  Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan analisis bivariat dengan uji wilcoxon. Jumlah sampel yang diteliti sebanyak 69 sampel dan waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal April-Mei 2018. Hasil penelitian terhadap pengetahuan sarapan menunjukkan ada perbedaan  nilai pengetahuan sarapan pada siswa-siswi SMP Kristen Maranatha sebelum dan sesudah edukasi gizi dengan media buku diary. Penelitian terhadap jenis sarapan menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan jenis sarapan pada siswa-siswi SMP Kristen Maranatha sebelum dan sesudah edukasi gizi dengan media buku diary. Penelitian terhadap asupan energi sarapan menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan asupan energi pada siswa-siswi SMP Kristen Maranatha sebelum dan sesudah edukasi gizi dengan media buku diary

Abstract

Background: Pregnant women were one of the prone groups to nutritional problems, where during pregnancy the need for iron increased so that they were at high risk of anemia, especially iron deficiency. This happened because the nutritional needs of the mother and fetus increase so that they were at high risk of it. One of the government's efforts in the context of preventing and overcoming iron deficiency anemia and folic acid in pregnant women was to give Blood-Added Tablets (TTD) which were given every day as much as one tablet or a minimum of 90 (ninety) tablets during pregnancy. Methods: This research type was a Quasy Experimental Design with a pretest-posttest design used. The subjects of this study were pregnant women in the first and second trimesters and the number of samples was 35 respondents. Data were taken using a questionnaire and analyzed using univariate analysis and bivariate analysis. Results: There was a difference in the knowledge score at the end of the study before and after education with pocket book media (p = 0.000), while the compliance score at the end of the study showed a difference in compliance before and after education with pocket book media (p = 0.000) Conclusion: There was an effect of providing an independent monitoring pocket book on the knowledge and compliance of the consumption of Blood-Added Tablets (TTD) in pregnant women.
