Abstract

Teknologi yang semakin canggih di era modern saat ini membuat manusia sangat tergantung pada handphone berbasis smartphone, hingga seluruh kegiatan banyak diselesaikan melalui smartphone. Memanfaatkan hal itu, Aplikasi Edu-Anemia memberikan pesan otomatis meliputi hal hal yang berkaitan dengan anemia. Informasi tersebut akan muncul setiap pagi hari dengan isi pesan yang berbeda selama 14 hari, dan akan berulang sebanyak 6 kali terhitung sejak penelitian dimulai. Selain itu dilengkapi juga dengan kolom kepatuhan minum tablet tambah darah, pesan pengingat minum tablet Fe pada malam hari, serta soal-soal pendeteksi anemia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperimental, dengan  melihat efek dari penggunaan aplikasi Edu-Anemia dan leaflet serta kartu kontrol konsumsi tablet Fe yang disediakan oleh Puskesmas Telaga Biru dalam kelompok yang berbeda terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan serta kepatuhan dalam mengonsumsi tablet Fe pada remaja putri, yang diuji menggunakan metode uji sebelum dan sesudah mendapat perlakuan. Penelitian dilakukan selama 90 hari dengan sampel sebanyak  30 sampel dalam setiap kelompok. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan dari penggunaan aplikasi Edu-Anemia terhadap pengetahuan dan kepatuhan remaja dalam mengonsumsi tablet Fe (p = 0.00). Perlu penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai inovasi pencatatan minum tablet Fe, dan adanya ide kreatif meningkatkan kedisiplinan remaja dalam mengonsumsi tablet Fe.

Abstract

Stunting adalah gangguan pada pertumbuhan yang terjadi akibat kekurangan gizi kronis atau disebabkan penyakit infeksi. Diketahui bahwa pada anak stunting pada saluran cernanya terjadi petumbuhan bakteri pathogen, prebiotic adalah zat dalam bahan makanan seperti serat yang tidak dapat dicerna dan secara selektif dapat merangsang pertumbuhan dan aktivitas bakteri, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tepung pisang kepok (musa paradisiaca) pada anak stunting terhadap penurunan bakteri e.coli di wilayah Jungkat Kabupaten Mempawah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest and Posttest Control-Group Design, dengan 40 sampel yang diambil dengan cara purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan di desa Jungkat, Kabupaten Mempawah. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Paired T-Test dan uji Wilcoxon Signed Ranks. Rata-rata terjadi penurunan jumlah bakteri e.coli sebelum diberikan tepung pisang yaitu sebesar 76.350,30 koloni dan sesudah diberikan tepung pisang yaitu 56.903,30 koloni. Pemberian tepung pisang kepada balita stunting yang diukur melalui feses menurunkan jumlah bakteri e.coli dalam usus balita.

Abstract

Anemia of pregnant women is at risk of increasing abnormal labor, the risk of maternal infection, and the tendency of bleeding which will have an impact on maternal and infant mortality. Bees (Trigona sp) are known to produce honey that contains vitamin C, functions as an antibiotic, antitoxin, antioxidants and to enhance the body's immune system, as well as the content of vitamin A, iron (Fe), and vitamin B12 which functions as the formation of red blood cells and hemoglobin prevents anemia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of giving Trigona sp. Honey. (Kelulut) and Sambas Siam against the blood hemoglobin (Hb) levels of pregnant women. The Pre-Experiment Designs research method was using the Non-Randomized One Group Pretest-Postest Design, in which a group was given the treatment of Trigona sp Honey and Sambas siamas orange juice and then the results were observed, and the pretest and posttest were conducted. The subjects of this study were third-trimester pregnant women in the work area of the Karya Mulya Public Health Center. The sample in this study was 30 pregnant women. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling method, data analysis uses a paired t-test. The results showed that there was a significant influence in the administration of Trigona sp. Honey. (Kelulut) and Siam Sambas Oranges to increase blood hemoglobin (Hb) levels in pregnant women with Sig. (2-tailed) obtained 0,000 <0.005. Conclusion giving honey Trigona sp. (Kelulut) and Siam Sambas to pregnant women can increase blood hemoglobin (Hb) levels.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Chronic energy deficiency (CED) is one of nutritional problems in pregnant women. One of the causes is inadequate energy and protein in food consumption, and low household food availability.Objectives: To know association between energy and protein intakes, food availability with CED in pregnant women in Sedayu Subdistrict, Bantul, Yogyakarta.Methods: This was an observational study with cross sectional design. This study was conducted in Sedayu Subdistrict, Bantul, Yogyakarta from March to May 2014 and 201 pregnant women were selected as samples by using total sampling methods. Independent variable was the level of energy intake, protein,and food availability while the dependent variable was the risk of CED in pregnant women. Data were collected by direct interview with questionnaire and direct measurement of mid upper arm circumference (MUAC) with MUAC tape. Data were then analyzed by using univariable analysis (descriptive), bivariable(chi-square), and multivariable (multiple logistic regression).Results: Bivariable test showed a significant association between level of energy intake (OR=3, 95% CI:1.3-6.8) and food availability (OR=2.9, 95% CI:1.1-7.1) with the risk of CED in pregnant women in Sedayu Subdistrict. However, no significant association between level of protein intake and the risk of CED (OR=2.1, 95% CI: 0.9-5.1). In multivariable analysis, level of energy intake had the strongest association with the risk of CED.Conclusions: There was associaton between level of energy intake and food availability with the risk of CED in pregnant women. However, there was no association between level of protein intake and the risk of CED in pregnant women.KEYWORDS: chronic energi deficiency, pregnant women, intake of energy intake of protein, food availabilityABSTRAKLatar belakang: Kekurangan energi kronis (KEK) merupakan salah satu masalah gizi yang terjadi pada ibu hamil. Salah satu penyebab KEK adalah konsumsi makan yang tidak cukup mengandung energi dan protein serta ketersediaan pangan keluarga yang kurang.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat asupan energi, tingkat asupan protein, dan ketersediaan pangan dengan kejadian KEK pada ibu hamil di Kecamatan Sedayu, Bantul, Yogyakarta.Metode: Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Sedayu Bantul pada bulan Maret hingga Mei 2014. Populasi adalah seluruh ibu hamil di Kecamatan Sedayu yang diambil dengan metode total sampling dan didapatkan 201 orang. Variabel bebas yaitu tingkat asupan energi,protein, dan ketersediaan pangan, sedangkan variabel terikat adalah risiko KEK pada ibu hamil. Data diambil dengan wawancara langsung menggunakan software kuesioner Commcare dan pengukuran lingkar lengan atas (LILA) dengan pita LILA. Data dianalisis dengan analisis univariabel (deskriptif), bivariat (chi-square), dan multivariat (regresi logistik berganda).Hasil: Analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat asupan energi (OR=3, 95% CI:1,3-6,8) dan ketersediaan pangan (OR=2,9, 95% CI:1,1-7,1) dengan risiko KEK pada ibu hamil. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat asupan protein dengan risiko KEK (OR=2,1, 95% CI:0,9-5,1). Pada analisis multivariat, tingkat asupan energi memiliki hubungan paling kuat dengan risiko KEK dibandingkan dengan variabel lainnya.Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan antara tingkat asupan energi dan ketersediaan pangan dengan risiko KEK pada ibu hamil. Abstract

Stunting in children reflects the failure to thrive in children under five. so the child becomes too short for his age. This is due to chronic malnutrition that occurs from the womb until age two. Empowerment of cadres is a strategy used to increase the ability and realize the independence of cadres in carrying out their roles and functions in the development of public health. This study aims to determine the effect of empowering posyandu cadres in detecting stunting for toddlers aged 0-24 months in Desa Kapur, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency. The research design used was experimental research using a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. Before the treatment was given a pretest (initial test) and, at the end, was given a posttest (final test). the number of samples as many as 35 people. Data were taken using questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of training in measuring body length using a length board on the skills of cadres in taking measurements for toddlers aged 0-24 months with a significant value (p = 0.000). There is an increase in the ability of cadres to detect stunting after training in measuring body length using a length board from 0% to 100%. Body length measurement training for Posyandu cadres is a form of Empowering Posyandu Cadres in Stunting Control Models at 1000 HPK in Desa Kapur, Sungai Raya District, Kubu Raya Regency.

Abstract

In Indonesia, some plants contain many benefits for public health and contain very high nutrients ranging from macronutrients to micronutrients. These plants include Moringa oleifera L, the Moringa tree, by Indonesian people. However, few people know about the Moringa tree's benefits, so its utilization still needs to improve in society. This study was a pure experimental study consisting of 3 three treatments of mackerel fish nuggets with different substitutions for moringa leaf flour: P1=5, P2=12.5, P3=25. The third step was an organoleptic test at the Pontianak Ministry of Health's Poletkkes Food Technology Laboratory consisting of 25 panelists. Then proceed with nutritional analysis in the Chemistry laboratory at Tanjung Pura Pontianak University. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) data and was analyzed using the Freedman statistical test. The results of the study are based on Friedman's statistical test, which is enhanced with Conover with a 95% confidence level, showing that the results of T count > T table (13.6 > 3.175) mean that there is a color difference in the nugget formula, there is a difference in the aroma of the nugget formula with T count > F table (6.03 > 3.175) there is a difference in taste for variations in taste with T count < F table (2.72 < 3.175) Based on test results Laboratory tests on nuggets of moringa leaf flour substitution showed an average protein content of 7.08%, average moisture content of 2.01% average ash content of 5.15%.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Hingga saat ini penyakit diare masih merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di negara berkembang karena angka kesakitan dan kematian masih tinggi pada bayi dan anak-anak Pemberian makanan pendamping ASI terlalu dini akan menyebabkan bayi mudah terkena diare sebab sisem pencernaan bayi umur 0-6 bulan masih belum matur/sempurna dan belum siap menerima berbagai jenis makanan.Tujuan: Menganalisis risiko dari porsi, frekuensi, bentuk dan usia pemberian makanan pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) terhadap kejadian diare pada anak usia 7 – 59 bulan.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan rancangan case control. Lokasi penelitian adalah di Wilayah kerja puskesmas Sungai Raya Dalam. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah anak yang menderita diare akut usia 7 – 59 bulan sebesar 40 kasus dan 40 kontrol. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji chi square.Hasil: usia pemberian MP-ASI yang tidak tepat berpeluang 2,33 kali lebih besar untuk terkena diare. Anak dengan frekuensi pemberian MP-ASI tidak tepat berpeluang 1,42 kali lebih besar untuk terkena diare. Anak dengan porsi pemberian MP-ASI yang tidak tepat berpeluang 3,86 kali lebih besar untuk terkena diare.Kesimpulan: Usia pemberian, frekuensi pemberian, bentuk dan porsi pemberian MP-ASI yang tidak tepat pada balita usia 7-59 bulan memiliki risiko atau berpeluang besar mengalami diare.

Abstract

Chronic malnutrition experienced from childhood is the cause of stunting which is determined based on indicators of nutritional status of height according to age (TB/U). One of the factors causing stunting is the length of the child's birth body, and the father's level of education. This study sought to ascertain the association between father education and birth length and the prevalence of stunting in toddlers between the ages of 24-59 months. In the form of a cross sectional, this study used an analytical observational design. This study was conducted at five health centers in North Pontianak, namely Siantan Hilir Health Center, Siantan Hulu Health Center, Middle Siantan, Khatulistiwa Health Center and Telaga Biru Health Center with a sample of 384 toddlers aged 7-59 months who were selected by purposive sampling. Data on height measurement and determination of nutritional status were measured using a microtois device, while data on father's education and birth length were taken by conducting direct interviews with the respondent's mother using a questionnaire. Data on height and nutritional status of TB/U were analyzed descriptively, while to see the relationship between variables, chi-square analysis was used. Toddlers who have a history of short birth weight have more stunting nutritional status by 25.6%. Stunting and the history of the child's birth length were significantly correlated (p=0.019). Short-born infants are 2.29 times more likely to experience stunting as toddlers. The incidence of stunting is correlated (p = 0.033) with the educational level of fathers of children under five. Toddlers whose fathers have less education have 39.8% more normal nutritional status.

Abstract

Vegetables and fruit in adolescents are useful to support their growth and development and good nutritional status. Knowledge is an important factor for the formation of one’s actions. There are various kinds of counseling media that can be done, one of which is poster media. This study aims to analyze the effect of giving poster media on increasing nutritional knowledge of junior high school teenagers. Methods : This study was a pre-experimental design with a pretest-posttest one group design. The research subjects were teenagers at Al-Bayan Muara Pawan, Ketapang regency. A total of 114 samples. Data analysis using Wilcoxon to see the difference in the effect of giving media before and after being given poster media. Research Results : There isi a difference in knowledge about the benefits of vitamins in vegetables before and after being given nutrition education using poster media for adolescents and There is a difference in knowledge about the benefits of vitamins in fruit before and after being given nutrition education using poster media for adolescents at the Al- Bayan Muara Pawan Islamic Boarding Schol, Ketapang Regency. Research suggestion : For Educational Institutions Media Poster can be used by multiplaying and spreading the poster where students pass or often gather so that the knowledge of islamic boarding school students can increase not only junior high school teenagers and for other researchers can conduct further research on other variables such as pocket money, physical activity and consumption behavior and nutrition education for parents.
