Abstract

The construction of the Cimanggis–Cibitung Toll Road requires rest areas as supporting facilities for road users. The Taman Rahayu Type A Rest Area is designed with a bioclimatic architecture concept to utilize environmental potential and reduce conventional energy use. The design adapts to the local climate through natural ventilation and efficient lighting. The design takes into account environmental conditions, user needs, and local potential. Facilities provided include rest areas, gas stations, commercial areas, and green spaces. The study results show that the application of bioclimatic architecture can improve energy efficiency, user comfort, and have a positive impact on the environment. This rest area is expected to serve as an example for the development of similar facilities in the future.

Abstract

Abstract: Public transportation has a very important role in supporting urban mobility. So this factor can also be used as an indicator of the progress of a city. However, it is regrettable that the concept of conventional public transportation has many shortcomings that must be corrected immediately. At this time research that discusses the development of electric-powered public transportation innovations is not widely known. This study aims to analyze the readiness of infrastructure for modernizing public transportation in a city to determine the characteristics and impacts that will occur using quantitative research methods, so that it can be realized that public transportation modes can be developed into electric transportation modes with centralized charging in a place. Carbon monoxide levels of 241.19 g/km, Hydrocarbon of 0.63 g/km and Carbon dioxide of 11,555.35 g/km can be reduced to 0% by electrifying transportation modes. In addition, the Fuel cost or energy consumption can also be reduced by 70% when compared to conventional modes of transportation. The transportation infrastructure in Bekasi city has the potential to be developed to a more modern electrification stage and can overcome problems such as high operating costs, greenhouse gas emissions generated and congestion.Keyword: Electrification, Emissions, Infrastructure, Urban, Transportation.Abstrak: Moda Transportasi publik memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam menunjang mobilitas perkotaan. Sehingga faktor ini juga bisa dijadikan sebagai indikator dari kemajuan sebuah kota. Namun sangat disanyangkan Konsep transportasi publik konvensional memiliki banyak kekurangan yang harus segera diperbaiki. Pada saat ini penelitian yang membahas pengembangan inovasi transportrasi publik bertenaga listrik belum banyak diketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa kesiapan infrastruktur untuk modernisasi transportrasi publik di sebuah kota untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan dampak yang akan terjadi dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif, Sehingga dapat disadari bahwa moda transportasi publik dapat dikembangkan ke moda transportasi elektrik dengan pengisian daya yang terpusat pada suatu tempat. Kadar karbon monoksida sebesar 241,19 g/km, Hidro karbon sebesar 0,63 g/km dan Karbon dioksida sebesar 11.555,35 g/km dapat dikurangi sampai 0% dengan elektrifikasi moda transportasi. Selain itu biaya konsumsi bahan bakar atau energi juga dapat dikurangi sebesar 70% bila dibandingkan dengan moda transportasi konvensional. Infrastruktur transportasi di kota bekasi sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan ke tahap elektrifikasi yang lebih modern dan dapat menanggulangi permasalahan seperti biaya operasional yang tinggi, emisi gas rumah kaca yang dihasilkan dan kemacetan.Kata Kunci: Elektrifikasi, Emisi, Infrastruktur, Perkotaan, Transportasi.

Abstract

Abstract: Green open space (GOS) can guarantee the sustainability of the urban development of settlements. The use of green open space, among others, is to accommodate children's play activities and community gatherings and maintain the ecosystem in the region. However, along with its growth, the function of the GOS is often misused by residents, one of which is as a car park, business activities (grocery stores) and the indifference of residents in managing greening land (parks) that are left abandoned. This research is located in the city of Bekasi which is one of the satellite cities of Jakarta and has a fairly high population density. The object of observation is located in jatibening village, pondok cikunir indah housing complex. This study aims to determine the utilization and role of GOS in community settlement areas and identify the type and characteristics as well as the quality and quantity of GOS. Data collection in addition to literature studies is also through interviews / interviews with respondents (housing residents) and direct documentation on the object of observation.Keyword: green open space, the residential of pondok cikunir indahAbstrak: Ruang terbuka ‘hijau (‘RTH) dapat menjamin keberlanjutan perkembangan perkotaan permukiman. Pemanfaatan ruang terbuka ‘hijau antara lain adalah untuk menampung aktivitas bermain anak dan temu warga serta menjaga ekosistem di wilayah tersebut. Namun seiring pertumbuhannya, fungsi dari ‘RTH sering disalahgunakan warga salah satunya sebagai tempat parkir mobil, aktifitas bisnis (toko kelontong) serta ketidakpedulian warga dalam mengurus lahan penghijauan (taman) yang dibiarkan terbengkalai. Penelitian ini berlokasi di kota Bekasi sebagai kota satelit Jakarta yang memiliki kepadatan masyarakat tinggi. Objek pengamatan terletak di kelurahan Jatibening, kompleks perumahan Pondok Cikunir Indah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan dan peranan ‘RTH di kawasan permukiman masyarakat serta melakukan identifikasi tipe dan karakteristik serta kualitas dan kuantitas ‘RTH. Pengumpulan data selain melalui studi literatur juga melalui wawancara/interview dengan narasumber (penghuni/pengurus perumahan) serta dokumentasi langsung pada objek pengamatan.Kata Kunci: ruang terbuka ‘hijau, perumahan pondok cikunir indah

Abstract

Minimalisme sebagai tren arsitektur telah menjadi pilihan populer di Indonesia, khususnya di kawasan perkotaan. Konsep ini menawarkan efisiensi ruang dan estetika sederhana yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan modern. Namun, penerapannya sering kali bertentangan dengan gaya hidup masyarakat Indonesia yang kaya akan nilai budaya dan kebutuhan ruang multifungsi, seperti ruang komunal untuk kegiatan sosial dan keluarga. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi adaptasi penghuni Perumahan Puri Ciracas Asri, terhadap desain minimalis. Fokusnya pada bagaimana mereka menyesuaikan pola hidup sehari-hari, termasuk penggunaan ruang, modifikasi tata letak, dan penyesuaian estetika rumah. Adaptasi ini melibatkan aspek kenyamanan fisik, seperti pencahayaan dan sirkulasi udara, serta kenyamanan psikologis, seperti rasa puas dan keterikatan terhadap hunian. Menggunakan teori adaptasi Robert K. Merton penelitian ini menganalisis respons penghuni, mulai dari konformitas hingga modifikasi inovatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi sering dilakukan untuk mencerminkan kebutuhan praktis dan nilai budaya lokal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa desain minimalis perlu lebih fleksibel agar dapat mendukung kebutuhan lokal. Rekomendasi meliputi desain yang adaptif dan responsif terhadap pola hidup masyarakat Indonesia, menciptakan hunian yang tidak hanya estetis, tetapi juga nyaman dan relevan secara budaya.

Abstract

Contemporary technological developments have given birth to a smart city concept that is able to respond to urban problems through the use of information and communication technology. On the other hand, aspects of happiness indicators have become part of city performance, so studies have emerged that link happiness with the quality of life of city residents. In line with the sustainable city development paradigm, in recent years, the Jakarta Special Capital Region government has developed public transportation such as commuterline, Transjakarta, MRT and LRT which is supported by technology in payment systems and departure schedules to improve services for its users. However, it is not enough to provide satisfaction for users due to problems with ticket sensors, payment via vending machines and inappropriate arrival time management. The aim of this research is to analyze the effectiveness by comparing the plans that have been determined with the results in implementing two smart city pillars, namely smart living and smart mobility to create a Happy City in the city of Jakarta. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with observation and the use of questionnaires. From the results of the discussion, it was found that the majority of users stated that it had not been achieved or that development was still needed in terms of waiting time range, ease of technology, security and comfort. Meanwhile, city residents as users stated that they were quite happy, showing satisfaction with comfort and security.

Abstract

The preservation of the city's historical artifacts is part of the development of the historical, memory and cultural sustainability of the city. The edge of the Buaran River has the potential for historical objects in the form of Batu Penggilingan sites, the history of the area and the potential for residents to develop their villages. This article raises a study of cultural values, preservation and development of Batu Penggilingan historical site on the banks of the Buaran River, Cakung, East Jakarta. This study examines its development as a Betawi cultural tourism village so that it can make the area an educational and interesting tourist attraction. This study used descriptive qualitative methods based on field empirical data exploring the factors that support the program. The result of the discussion was that the development of tourism villages requires in-depth identification of physical, architectural and environmental potentials in order to become a sustainable program by paying attention to and strengthening the unique Betawi cultural characteristics in the village planning and design process.

Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan Kota Bandar Lampung menimbulkan kebutuhan mendesak akan infrastruktur pejalan kaki yang aman dan nyaman. Jembatan Penyeberangan Orang (JPO) Siger Milenial yang terletak di kawasan Bundaran Gajah, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Tanjungkarang Pusat, Kota Bandar Lampung, sebagai salah satu fasilitas utama perlu dievaluasi efektivitasnya dalam mendukung mobilitas pejalan kaki dan keselamatan pengguna. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektivitas JPO Siger Milenial berdasarkan aspek keselamatan, aksesibilitas, kenyamanan, dan estetika. Metode mixed methods digunakan dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi visual, kuesioner pengguna, dan wawancara pihak terkait. Hasil menunjukkan JPO Siger Milenial cukup efektif meningkatkan keselamatan dan memperkuat citra kota dengan desain kearifan lokal. Namun, aksesibilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas dan pencahayaan malam hari masih perlu peningkatan. Secara keseluruhan, JPO ini berkontribusi positif dalam mendukung mobilitas pejalan kaki di Kota Bandar Lampung.
