Abstract

Modern era has an impact on the manufacturing industry. Relate to technology to turn raw goods into finished goods. Look at competitive in competition between companies that are required to customer demand. PT XYZ is a textile company. The dynamic demand for fabrics has the impact of abundant inventory and uncertain raw material delivery waiting times make it difficult for the company to meet all demand. Risk identification using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method, assessing the importance of the effectiveness business processes in the risk implications that occur. Then, the House of Risk (HOR) approach can be analyzed against potential risks in the company when conducting production and look at the degree of probability risk as well as the impact that occurs and impacts decision making so as not to be detrimental. The results of this study show that there are 5 risk events and 28 risk agents that become supply chain risks as well as recommendations to the priority risk agents

Abstract

Warehouses are important in enabling and supporting the efficient execution of logistical activities. Integrating radio frequency identification (RFID) technology can catalyze innovation in warehouse operations by reducing the tracking and management of items. This study aims to identify novel research prospects for integrating RFID technology within warehouse operations. The researchers conducted a comprehensive literature evaluation by examining articles indexed by Scopus. This study has comprehensively analyzed the critical elements of each paper reviewed, including the research aims, findings, outputs, and gaps. These characteristics contribute to identifying innovative research directions in the context of RFID technology and its application in warehouse environments. This study provides a significant result, as no recent literature review on a similar topic exists. Furthermore, this literature review aims to address the existing theoretical void by building upon prior research and offering scientific contributions by presenting a complete and comprehensive literature review.

Abstract

Warehouses play a vital role as an intermediary between entities in supply chains, connecting upstream and downstream entities. Implementing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology as a warehouse management system enables data collection with more accuracy, speed, and reliability. This research was motivated by the limited bibliometric perspective and visualization of research on warehouse RFID. The use of bibliometric methods aimed to find basic patterns and an overview of the direction of research related to warehouse RFID. This research utilized the Publish or Perish and VOSviewer tools for analyzing purposes. This study comprised 172 Scopus journals that provide an extensive overview of the developmental progress over 2003-2023 period. Bibliometric visualization was conducted to investigate the outcomes from later publications connected to warehouse RFID. The visualization displayed the leading publishers, yearly patterns, prominent publication titles, top authors, most referenced papers, distribution of keywords, most influential journals, and areas of research that require more investigation.

Abstract

PT ABC is one of the companies that provide online ticket-purchasing facilities amidst the rise of the digitalization era. So, companies need to see how application users complain as a form of evaluation and improvement. The rating results given by application users show a score of 3.3 from 172,000 reviews. The review results that will be examined are user reviews from January 2022 to April 1, 2023, which is more or less the last year of user comments. This research aims to form a review group using K-Means Clustering, the Elbow method, TF-IDF weighting, and analysis of review improvement strategies. The Elbow method is used to determine the optimal number of clusters so as not just to use assumptions. The success of the Elbow method in processing categorical data can be supported by assigning weights based on word frequency sequences using TF-IDF. The research analysis results show the formation of 4 clusters, with two tending to have negative sentiment, one neutral sentiment, and one positive sentiment. Mapping is carried out on each cluster to find out the characteristics of each cluster and possible causes of reviews, as well as providing solutions and strategies as a form of improvement. The problem of negative reviews appearing in each review group is different. It can be corrected with the proposed strategies, such as improving the appearance of features at the registration, ordering, and payment stages, adding payment methods, and carrying out regular system maintenance.

Abstract

The development of technology and media has made online data reviews a promising data source. Through machine learning utilizing text processing, data analysis of Ventela Public Low product reviews can be carried out—sentiment analysis is used to find class groups from each data. The classification algorithm is Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM). A classification model with the best performance and accuracy values will be selected. Word association is then applied to obtain information from the required class. Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a tool used to assist designers in developing products. The results of the integration of sentiment analysis into QFD show that sentiment analysis produces information by the provisions of the QFD method and can support the product development process in terms of the amount of data various data topics and reduces the subjectivity of designers at the stage of determining Voice of Customer (VOC) and performance values of products and competitors

Abstract

SMEs face numerous challenges and opportunities due to their pivotal roles in the economic development of a country. Adopting an ERP system is believed to be the catalyst to cope with the challenges and grab the opportunities faced by SMEs. However, implementing ERP led to potential risks caused by implementation failure, even for big companies. SMEs have a unique characteristic due to being receptive to adopting new technologies but having limited resources. Most previous research related to designing frameworks for ERP implementation was focused on big companies, although the fact that SMEs have distinct characteristics compared to big companies. Therefore, this study aims to design a framework for SMEs' ERP implementation. The framework phase consists of (1) measuring the business maturity, information communication and technology (ICT) maturity, proposed business process improvement, and (2) implementing an ERP system. The author has also provided a case study of ERP adoption in an SME in this paper by compiling both steps. This research will contribute to research on ERP in SMEs and practice as guidance for ERP implementors and SMEs in adopting the ERP system

Abstract

A good queuing system will provide satisfaction and trust for consumers and operational cost efficiency for service providers. This study aims to obtain the optimal number of service facilities by considering the aspirations of stakeholders, namely customers and service providers. Using aspiration theory, this research contributes to obtaining a dynamic solution to the number of service facilities with reference to service operating costs that can be determined with certainty and waiting costs that vary based on customer profiles. The study began by designing sampling for arrival time and service time data based on simple random sampling. The probability distributions of arrival time and service time are determined based on the data collection results of the sampling design. Based on the queuing profile and distribution of the two data, a suitable queuing model is built. Poisson distribution-based multi-channel queue model is constructed ((M/M/c):(GD/∞/∞)), and an optimization analysis is carried out on the number of service facilities provided by considering the aspirations of the two stakeholders. The results showed that based on stakeholder aspirations, optimal conditions were achieved at the number of servers c = 2 if the waiting cost (C2): IDR 0/hour≤ C2 ≤ IDR 11,076/hour, and the number of servers c = 3 if the waiting cost (C2): IDR 11,076/hour ≤ C2 ≤ IDR 120,690/hour.  Given that there are two conditional alternatives, the company can decide subjectively to take preventive and adaptive actions proactively according to the customer's appreciation of the waiting time in the company. Flexibility in opening service facilities will require the availability of workers and facilities to be provided. Multi-skilled workers will significantly help the flexibility of the system being built. Future research certainly needs to conduct a more in-depth study related to monthly fluctuations in arrival and service times within that period.
