Abstract

This study aims to describe the student's Metacognition type melancholis in solving math problems. The research results expected useful to optimize the learning activity based on activity of Metacognition in students learning math in the melancholis type, consideration for teachers or schools in drawing up a learning model that fits the research is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection is done by way of an interview based on the troubleshooting task sheet. The subject in this study are students who have a personality melancholis on odd semester academic year 2015/2016.The process of critical thinking can be traced in any troubleshooting steps according to Polya and noted the characteristics of the process of critical thinking which includes stage (1) identification of issues and relevant information, (2) explore the interpretation and connections, (3) alternative to prioritize and communicate conclusions, and (4) integrate, monitor, and filter strategy for handling the reset issue.The results showed that students had indeed melancholis metacognition. Melancholis students can solve given by critical. And the process of critical thinking on solving the problems seen in: phase (1) and (2) the process of Metacognition occurs in step understanding the problem, devise a plan, implement troubleshooting troubleshooting plan and rechecking the results of problem solving. Stage (3) the process of Metacognition occurs in step understanding the problem, devise a plan and carry out troubleshooting troubleshooting plan. (4) the stages of the process of Metacognition occurs in step implement the plan troubleshooting and rechecking the results of problem solving. Based on the results of such studies then the teacher should know the personality and mindset of his protégé participant so that teaching and learning process occurs optimally.Keyword : Metakognisi, Melancholis, and Problem Solving

Abstract

. Pembelajaran matematika pada mata kuliah Kalkulus Lanjut bersifat abstrak dan menekankan penguasaan konsep Karena itu perlu dikembangkan pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran. Namun, proses pembelajaran matematika, hanya berfokus pada hasil belajar, tetapi tidak memperhatikan berpikir kreatifTujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui karakteristik produk pengembangan dan kelayakan rubrik keterampilan berfikir kreatif siswa dalam pemecahan masalah matematika pada mata kuliah Kalkulus Lanjut. Model pengembangan yang digunakan yaitu 4D yaitu define (pendefinisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Karena keterbatasan waktu maka penelitian hanya dilakukan sampai pada tahap develop (pengembangan).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) Types of mistakes made by students in solving statistical problems. (2) Factors that cause students to make mistakes. The type of research used is qualitative research, which uses descriptive research methodology. Research subjects are all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 08 Tanjung Jabung East with the number of students 61 people. From all students of class XI IPA will be selected 4 people as informant. The data collected in this research are observation, diagnostic test of satistical description, and interview to students who made the most mistake and varied. The errors are done students in solving math problems on the subject statistics are analyzed by type of concept error, data use error, engineering error, language interpretation error, conclusion withdrawal error. The results showed that students make mistakes in solving statistical problems. The types of errors are concept errors, data use errors, technical errors and errors of inference. And the biggest mistake is the concept mistake. The factors that cause these mistakes are the students are less mastering the material, students are less thorough, students in haste and students dont understand the steps of completion.Keywords: Error Analysis, Problem Solving, Statistics

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to develop LKS based Problem Based Learning (LKS) on the set material. In addition, also see the quality of LKS developed viewed from aspects of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This type of research is research development or Research and Development (R&D). This study follows the steps of the ADDIE development model covering five stages of development: analysis, develompment, implementation and evaluation. The subject of this research is the students of class VII A SMPN 10 Muara Bungo. Research instruments on this development are questionnaires and questions. The questionnaire consisted of a validation sheet by 3 experts, materials experts, design experts, and media experts as well as individualized questionnaires, small group trials and field trials. While the instrument in the form of questions consists of a matter of pre-test and post-test. After the LKS was developed, the LKS was validated by 3 validators. The percentage of results obtained after validation is: for the material expert's assessment of 81.8% with the category "very valid", the design expert of 77.8% with the category "valid" and 87.7% media experts with the category "very valid. Then the LKS in the test try, the percentage of test results obtained are: individual test of 82.5% with the category of "very practical", small group testing of 89.7% with the category "very practical" and field trials of 83,7% with very practical category. Furthermore, to assess the effectiveness of LKS seen from the results of pre-test and post-test conducted by students, then calculated using the calculation of t-test statistics, obtained tcount of 9.24 and ttable of 2.03, because tcount larger ttable it can be concluded that the LKS developed effectively. Based on the description above, the result of research of development of LKS based on PBL is categorized as valid, practical, and effective.Keywords: Student Worksheet (LKS), Problem Based Learning (PBL), ADDIE Development Model

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran matematika menggunakan game edukasi laker dan mengetahui kualitas media pembelajaran berdasarkan aspek kevalidan, aspek kelayakan, aspek kepraktisan. Penelitian yang digunakan penelitian pengembangan. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang meliputi 5 tahap yaitu analisis , perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 2 Kota Jambi. Instrument penelitian pada pengembangan ini berupa angket. Angket terdiri dari lembar validasi oleh tiga orang ahli, yaitu ahli materi, ahli desain, dan ahli media serta angket uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kualitas media pembelajaran berdasarkan penilaian ahli desain diperoleh rata-rata 4,3 yang termasuk dalam kategori “baik” dan jika diperesentasekan mendapat nilai 86% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori “layak”. Ahli materi diperoleh rata-rata 4,4 yang termasuk dalam kategori “baik” dan jika diperesentasekan mendapat nilai 88% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori “layak”. Ahli media diperoleh rata-rata 4,6 yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik” dan jika diperesentasekan mendapat nilai 92% sehingga termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Penilaian oleh siswa dilakukan dalam tiga tahap, uji perorangan diperoleh total rata rata 3,83 yang termasuk dalam kategori ”baik”, uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh total rata-rata 4 yang termasuk dalam kategori “baik”, uji coba lapangan diperoleh rata-rata 4,47 yang termasuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian media pembelajaran matermatika berbasis game edukasi laker ini dinyatakan valid dan praktis sehingga layak digunakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan gaya belajar Visual, Auditori, Kinestetik (V-A-K) pada materi sistem pertidaksamaan linear di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendesrkripsikan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dengan gaya belajar V-A-K. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini soal tes, dan wawancara. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen lembar angket gaya belajar V-A-K, soal tes dan pedoman wawancara. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi waktu dan sumber. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : (1) Tahap memahami masalah semua subjek mampu menuliskan informasi yang ada dengan lengkap dan sistematis kecuali pada subjek S-V3 yang belum mampu menuliskan informasi yang ada dengan lengkap dan sistematis. (2) Tahap menyusun rencana semua subjek mampu menghubungkan informasi dengan mengubah kedalam kalimat matematika dan mampu memilih strategi yang akan digunakan untuk menyelesaikan masalah. (3) Tahap melaksanakan rencana semua subjek mampu menjalankan strategi yang dibuat sebelumnya dengan baik dan benar dengan kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh subjek, kecuali pada subjek S-A2 dan S-K1 yang belum mampu melaksanakan strategi yang dibuat dengan baik dan benar. (4) Tahap memeriksa kembali semua subjek mampu menyimpulkan dengan benar dan tepat kecuali pada subjek S-A2 dan S-K1 yang belum mampu menyimpulkan dengan baik dan tepat.

Abstract

The implementation of the Community Service Program (PkM) aims to improve the competency of junior high school teachers in Sarolangun, Jambi. By holding workshops, the training activities were attended by 25 junior high school teachers. The training process consists of three stages: introduction to the material, training, and evaluation for making creative thinking assessment rubrics. The expected achievement from implementing this PkM is increasing the knowledge and skills of junior high school teachers in designing assessment rubrics that support the development of student's creative thinking. The training results showed that the training participants experienced an increase in their understanding of creating creative thinking assessment rubrics. The implication achieved from successfully implementing PkM is improving the quality of learning in junior high schools in Sarolangun, Jambi. Teachers who have increased their competence in designing creative thinking assessment rubrics are expected to be able to apply assessment methods that are more holistic and relevant to students' thinking abilities. Apart from that, it is also hoped that this increase will positively impact the development of students' creativity and critical thinking abilities at the school. Thus, the implementation of PkM has the potential to improve individual teacher competence and can contribute more broadly to improving the quality of education in the region.

Abstract

Pemerintah Provinsi Kepulauan Riau mengadopsi Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Absensi Pegawai (SIAP Kepri) sebagai solusi digital untuk presensi Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN). Teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara pencatatan kehadiran pegawai, memberikan dampak perubahan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data primer diperoleh melalui wawancara langsung dengan pegawai BAPPEDA, sementara data sekunder berasal dari referensi teoritis yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SIAP Kepri memiliki kelebihan, seperti meningkatkan tingkat disiplin, mengatasi kecurangan, dan memudahkan akses data. Namun, terdapat kekurangan, seperti kebutuhan kehadiran lebih awal dan kendala teknis.
