Abstract

Mata Kuliah Aplikasi Mobile adalah mata kuliah yang berisi informasi mengenai pengenalan aplikasi mobile atau aplikasi perangkat bergerak, pembuatan aplikasi mobile, dan lainnya yang berkaitan. Selama ini Mahasiswa diajarkan untuk membuat aplikasi moble dengan menggunakan teknik pendekatan diskusi, danpraktek. Pendekatan yang diberikan selama ini belum dapat memberikan hasil maksimal. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk masalah tersebut adalah dengan membuat sebuah aplikasi berbasis mobile untuk medukung pembelajaran siswa dikelas dengan menyisipkan informasi didalamnya yang terkait dengan materi kelas.

Abstract

Bahasa Indonesia merupakan bahasa yang digunakan oleh Warga Negara Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa umum dunia. Setiap orang di seluruh dunia harus menguasai bahasa Inggris jika harus menjalin hubungan atau berkomunikasi dengan orang yang ada di Negara lain. Kamus terjemahan biasanya selalu ada saat seseorang akan belajar mengenal suatu bahasa. Kamus terjemahan merupakan salah satu media yang digunakan untuk menerjemahkan suatu bahasa. Kamus terjemahan dapat berupa Hardcopy atau Softcopy. Dalam penelitian ini akan dibuat sebuah aplikasi yang dapat menerjemahkan bahasa indonesia ke bahasa inggris dan didalamnya terdapat penerapan speech to text. Speech to text dapat digunakan untuk merubah suara menjadi text, sehingga dapat memudahkan pengguna saat akan menerjemahkan suatu bahasa. Speech to Text akan bekerja dengan menyebutkan saja kata yang akan diterjemahkan dan kemudian kata tersebut akan diubah menjadi teks secara automatis setelah diproses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pengambilan keputusan bisnis di industri percetakan melalui komparasi Model Rating Factor dan metode VIKOR. Industri percetakan menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam pengambilan keputusan yang kompleks. Model Rating Factor untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor kritis yang mempengaruhi kinerja bisnis percetakan. Faktor-faktor ini kemudian dianalisis dan diberi bobot sesuai dengan tingkat kepentingannya, memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk evaluasi lebih lanjut. Pendekatan multi-kriteria metode VIKOR diterapkan untuk mengintegrasikan berbagai faktor yang telah diidentifikasi dan diberi bobot melalui Model Rating Factor . Metode VIKOR membantu dalam mengatasi konflik antara kriteria yang berbeda dan menghasilkan solusi kompromi yang optimal. Dengan menggabungkan kedua pendekatan ini, penelitian ini menyediakan kerangka kerja yang terstruktur dan sistematis untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih efektif di industri percetakan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Model Rating Factor dan metode VIKOR dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengambilan keputusan dengan memberikan panduan yang lebih jelas dalam mengevaluasi dan memilih alternatif keputusan. Sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan penggunaan sumber daya secara optimal. Komparasi antara kedua metode menunjukkan bahwa Model Rating Factor unggul dalam penilaian faktor individual, memberikan wawasan mendalam mengenai pengaruh setiap faktor. Di sisi lain, metode VIKOR lebih efektif dalam mengintegrasikan berbagai kriteria dan memberikan solusi yang lebih holistik. Dengan demikian, kombinasi kedua metode ini memberikan kerangka kerja yang lebih kuat dan komprehensif untuk mendukung pengambilan keputusan yang lebih baik dan cepat

Abstract

The development of an academic information system to support the Smart Campus concept at STAI Raudhatul Akmal requires an effective enterprise architecture approach. This study adopts the TOGAF ADM method to design an enterprise architecture that can accommodate evolving academic and technological needs. The focus is on applying TOGAF ADM to analyze academic business processes and develop an integrated system implementation plan. Primary data sources include analyses of academic business processes at STAI Raudhatul Akmal, covering student admissions, teaching and learning, research, community service, graduation, and alumni services. Using TOGAF ADM’s eight phases—including vision architecture, business architecture, information system architecture, technology architecture, and change management—this study aims to develop a blueprint aligned with institutional needs. The analysis results indicate that the architectural blueprint includes a web-based information system, e-learning system, online grading system, and library system. The technology design covers network infrastructure and servers. The implementation governance and change management phases highlight the importance of systematic change management to ensure a smooth transition. This study recommends assessing institutional readiness and implementing all aspects of TOGAF ADM for a comprehensive design to effectively support the Smart Campus implementation at STAI Raudhatul Akmal.

Abstract

Airport security is a vital component in maintaining the stability of air transportation systems. Although scanning technologies and access control systems have significantly advanced, the potential threat posed by internal actors remains an unresolved vulnerability. This study aims to examine the feasibility of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to detect threat intentions through gesture and body temperature analysis, with a specific focus on the apron zone a highly vulnerable area of the airport. Utilizing a hypothetical scenario based on the Red Team method, this study maps potential breach pathways conducted by individuals with authorized access. The findings suggest that the integration of computer vision, thermal imaging, and behavioral profiling has the potential to identify anomalous behaviors indicative of malicious intent. This research highlights the importance of combining technological approaches with human-centered security strategies to develop a more adaptive and accurate predictive security system.

Abstract

The management of the use of aviation fuel in aircraft is a crucial aspect in the aviation industry, which has a direct impact on operational efficiency and environmental sustainability. This study aims to analyze the use of avtur fuel with an IT Governance-based simulation approach using the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies model or abbreviated as COBIT. The COBIT model was chosen for its ability to manage structured information technology governance, so that it can help in optimizing decision-making related to fuel efficiency. The simulations carried out in this study involve various operational scenarios to evaluate the effectiveness of avtur management by utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) in the COBIT framework. The results of the analysis show that the implementation of COBIT-based IT Governance can improve the efficiency of audit use by improving monitoring, risk management, and data-based decision-making processes. These findings contribute to the development of fuel efficiency strategies in the aviation industry and open up opportunities for the application of similar models in other transportation sectors.

Abstract

The Department of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) in developing an e-performance information system needs to carry out a governance evaluation. The aim of this research is to evaluate information technology governance in the E-Kinerja system in assessing employee performance at the Bener Meriah Regency Communication and Information Service using the COBIT 2019 model using the Action Research method. Data collection techniques use two sources of primary data and secondary data. The results of this research are three main domains in COBIT 2019, namely EDM02 (Ensured Benefits Delivery), APO10 (Managed Vendors), and BAI11 (Managed Projects). This evaluation is carried out to measure the targeted capability level (to-be), the current capability level (as-is), as well as the gaps (GAP) that exist between the two. So the capability level in the EDM02 domain is at level 4, the APO10 domain is at level 2 and the BAI11 domain is at level 2. These findings provide an overview of areas that require further improvement and development to achieve more effective and efficient information technology governance. Thus, it is hoped that this research can contribute to improving the quality of information technology governance at the Bener Meriah Regency Communication and Information Service, as well as becoming a reference for other government agencies in implementing the COBIT 2019 model for evaluating information technology systems.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of effectiveness of the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) using the Preference Selection Index (PSI) Method and VIKOR Method. The MBKM program is an initiative of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia which aims to provide more flexibility and learning opportunities for students through various off-campus activities. This research was conducted to measure the extent to which the program succeeded in achieving its goals. The PSI method is used to determine preferences for various aspects of the program based on assessments from students and academic staff, while the VIKOR method is used to identify the best compromise solution that can maximize stakeholder satisfaction. Analysis was carried out to assess the effectiveness of the program based on several criteria, including the quality of the learning experience, relevance to the world of work, and contribution to student skills development. This research suggests that to further increase the effectiveness of the MBKM Program, there needs to be an emphasis on developing a curriculum that is more responsive to industry needs and improving supporting facilities for students. The implications of the results of this research are important for policy makers in designing educational strategies that are more adaptive and oriented to labor market needs.

Abstract

The decision-making process in admitting new students is a crucial aspect that can influence the quality and efficiency of academic administration in higher education. This research aims to analyze the role of Machine Learning methods, especially Support Vector Machines (SVM), in increasing the efficiency of the decision-making process for new student admissions at the Panca Budi Development University, Medan. The data used in this research includes information from the student admissions process for the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, which includes various variables such as Registration Number, School of Origin, Registration Payment, and others. The data is divided into a training set (70%) and a testing set (30%). The Support Vector Machine (SVM) model that was built was evaluated using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-Score. The research results show that the SVM model achieves an accuracy of 100%, with high precision and recall for both classes. Precision for both classes reached 1.00, while recall for the minority class (class 1) reached 0.91, indicating excellent model performance in classification. The conclusion of this research is that the Support Vector Machine (SVM) model can significantly increase efficiency and accuracy in the decision-making process for new student admissions at the Panca Budi Development University in Medan compared to conventional methods. These findings indicate that the application of Machine Learning methods can provide substantial benefits in the context of academic administration.

Abstract

This thesis examines user sentiment towards Panca Budi Development University by utilizing Google reviews as the main data and using the Naïve Bayes algorithm for sentiment analysis. This research aims to understand the public's perception of the university through reviewing reviews available on the Google platform. The data used consists of user reviews collected from Google Reviews. The analysis process begins with data pre-processing, including text cleaning and tokenization, followed by the development of a Naïve Bayes model for classification of review sentiment into positive, negative, or neutral categories. The results of this analysis provide insight into the strengths and weaknesses of Panca Budi Development University from a user perspective, as well as identifying areas that require improvement. It is hoped that these findings can become a basis for the university to improve the quality of its services and reputation in the eyes of the public. This research also highlights the effectiveness of the Naïve Bayes algorithm in sentiment analysis, and contributes to further studies on sentiment analysis in the education sector
