Abstract

Determining a concentration is one of the obligations for computer systems students because it has a direct impact on their careers and individual potential development. However, most students determine their concentration based on general perceptions without understanding their personal interests and talents, job trends, or even following their friends' choices. Therefore, this study aims to help students recognize their potential, interests, and abilities in choosing the right concentration. This study uses the Forward Chaining method, which is an expert system-based approach oriented towards factual data to draw conclusions and provide relevant recommendations. In its implementation, the system will process inputs in the form of interests, talents, and ability assessment results, then trace logical rules to determine the most suitable concentration. The final result of the research is expected to produce visual recommendations in the form of percentages, which show the level of compatibility between students' interests and talents with various concentration options. The system is expected to support a more objective, systematic, and data-driven academic decision-making process so that students can optimize their potential to the maximum.

Abstract

The implementation of online exams differs significantly from exams supervised directly by proctors. Participants' body movements and interactions can be easily read. Even with camera monitoring, participants can still easily switch browser tabs or open applications on their devices. On the other hand, camera-based proctoring solutions can also raise invasive privacy concerns. Furthermore, device limitations can hinder someone from taking the exam due to the lack of a camera, and bandwidth limitations can result in unstable connections during the exam. Sample log activity data from test participants for log_id ranges from 44790 to 46883, while the actions consist of fullscreen_exit, context_switch, standby_log, focus_return, fullscreen_enter, and devtools_open. The results and rules of this test have scores, with each result having an average value of 1, and the rules having an average value of 1-10. In this process, experts assess each detection result using a binary scheme: a score of 1 is given if the expert system's conclusion matches the expert's decision, and a score of 0 is given if the expert system's decision does not match the expert's decision. This study proposes an expert system framework with a cameraless forward chaining method running on the Google Chrome browser (desktop and Android) as decision support. The system utilizes browser event telemetry (visibility changes, fullscreen, standby) that aligns with existing policies, such as mandatory fullscreen mode, copy/paste blocking, and question blurring when exiting fullscreen or a visibility change occurs. This can generate an audit trail that can be audited by decision makers.

Abstract

The development of science and technology requires universities not only to matter but also to have abilities in their respective fields including Security System. The unavailability of network design laboratory and its minimum, network design, cryptography design and flexibility of face-to-face time in the discussion of material compiled not in accordance with the competencies in this course. To overcome these deficiencies in learning activities, development of a project-based blended learning model is carried out. The development carried out in this study uses the Puslitjaknov development model which reduces the Borg and Gall stages to five stages namely product analysis, initial product design, expert validation and revision, field trials and implementation. Data were collected by interview, observation, questionnaire and test. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative methods to produce research products in the form of books, modules, learning plans and manuals for the use of learning applications. Product validation by experts, practicality tests carried out by users and effectiveness tests with student learning outcomes. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of this study are: 1) Research has successfully developed a project-based blended learning model in Cryptography courses. 2) The developed learning model syntax consists of 9 stages / syntax. 3) In supporting learning activities, modules, RPS and manuals are used for learning applications. All products and models developed have been developed and are categorized as valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Indonesia is a tropical country with diverse flora and fauna stretching from west to east. One of the cabbage plants grown in Indonesia has many benefits for human health. Cabbage plants are susceptible to diseases such as pests and pathogens. One of them is clubroot disease, which causes the plant not to grow and develop. Based on the above problems, it is necessary to have a system to support farmers in the scientific field of expert systems that uses the Certainty Factor method to diagnose the nature of clubroot disease. It is hoped that this system can provide information more quickly on whether or not cabbage plants have clubroot disease. The results of this study represent an integrated system capable of solving problems in cabbage plants, especially in the diagnosis of clubroot disease. It is hoped that the applied system can be further developed together with technological developments

Abstract

Abstract: The utilization of Business Intelligence (BI) with Tableau effectively aids in mapping and analyzing cases of families at risk of stunting. Stunting, a condition caused by chronic malnutrition, remains a major health issue in Indonesia, particularly in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra. A quantitative research methodology was applied using the BI framework, encompassing data collection, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and interactive visualization through Tableau dashboards. Data from 2022 to 2024, including family risk categories and regional coordinates, were transformed into comprehensive visual representations. The visualization results demonstrate the effectiveness of Tableau in simplifying complex datasets and supporting more targeted interventions. Emphasis is placed on the importance of continuous monitoring and data updates to ensure accurate and timely responses to stunting cases. Keyword: Families At Risk Of Stunting; Business Intelligence; Data Visualization; TableauAbstrak: Pemanfaatan Business Intelligence (BI) dengan Tableau mampu membantu memetakan dan menganalisis kasus keluarga berisiko stunting. Stunting, sebagai kondisi kekurangan gizi kronis, menjadi masalah kesehatan utama di Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Langkat, Sumatera Utara. Metodologi penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dengan kerangka kerja BI yang mencakup pengumpulan data, proses ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), serta visualisasi interaktif melalui dashboard Tableau. Data tahun 2022 hingga 2024, meliputi kategori risiko keluarga dan koordinat wilayah, diolah menjadi representasi visual yang komprehensif. Hasil visualisasi memperlihatkan efektivitas Tableau dalam menyederhanakan data kompleks dan mendukung tindakan yang lebih tepat sasaran. Pentingnya pemantauan berkelanjutan dan pembaruan data ditekankan agar respons terhadap kasus stunting dapat dilakukan secara akurat dan tepat waktu.Kata kunci: Keluarga Berisiko Stunting; Business Intelligence; Visualisasi Data; TableauÂ
