Abstract

This study aims to determine the feasibility and responses of a students to modules based learning on problem based learning on thermochemical material class XI of SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak. The form of the research was research and development. The research model used is ADDIE research model. The subject of this research is problem based learning (PBL) based learning modules on thermochemical materials with group trials and large group trials. Data collection instrument that was used were feasibility assessment sheet and student response quetionnaire. The results of the conclusion of the feasibility of the learning module based on learning problems have a very decent level of eligibility (92.55%) which is approved from the aspects of the feasibility of content, presentation, language and graphics. The result of the small group student responses test showed very good criteria (82.78%) and the large group student response test showed very good criteria (86.58%). Thus, the problem based learning module based on class XI thermochemical material of SMA Negeri 2 Pontianak is very suitable to be used as teaching material and gets students' responses with very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the differences in communication skills of students who use the Peer Assessment technique with students who use Teacher Assessment and how much the influences to students. The research method was using pre-experimental design with Intact-Group Comparison. The sample of this research is grade VII students of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. The results of observational data analysis of students' communication skills in the experimental class and the control class using the Independent Samples T-test, showed the differences in communication skills between the class using Peer Assessment technique and the class using Teacher Assessment. The result obtained, the average communication skills of students who use the Peer Assessment technique is 66.6 % with a good category and students who use Teacher Assessment is 59.3 % with a fairly good category. Based on the calculation of the effect size obtained results indicate that there is an effect of Peer Assessment on students' communication skills by 0.9 with a high category. Keywords: Students' communication skills, peer Assessment.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to determine 1) the differences in student learning outcomes who taught using the webbed model with students who taught using conventional models 2) the influence of the webbed model with the theme of cigarettes was carried out in class VIII C and VIII D of SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak. The form of the research used was quasi-research with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was class VIII C as an experimental class and class VIII D as a control class. Data collection tools that was used in this study were tests. Based on the result of statistical test data using the Independent Sample T-Test, obtained a value of 0,000 indicates that the value of Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) < 0.05, which means there were significant differences in learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class students. The effect of the webbed model on student learning outcomes after being analyzed with the effect size formula was 1.42 which means it provided an increase in learning outcomes of 42.22%. Based on the hypothesis test it can be concluded that learning with a webbed model can improve student learning outcomes.Keyword : Webbed Model, Learning Outcomes, Cigarettes

Abstract

The problem that arises in this study is that the assessment carried out by the teacher takes a relatively long time because of the manual calculation of points.  Then the teacher tends to make the same questions for all students, it makes it easier for students to collaborate. This study aims to determine the feasibility of an online evaluation tool using wondershare quizcreator on molecular shape materials. The form of this research is research and development (R&D) based on the steps of the ADDIE development model. The online evaluation tool using Wondershare Quizcreator on molecular shape material has been tested for feasibility by experts, including the feasibility of the material, language, and graphics. The expert feasibility test results show that the developed online evaluation tool is categorized as very feasible. This feasibility is viewed from the results of the validation of the feasibility of the material by 95.6%, the feasibility of language by 90.63%, and the feasibility of graphics by a percentage of 94.64%.
