Penguatan Daya Saing sumber daya manusia menjadi tanjung jawab perguruan tinggi sebagai penyelengara pendidikan fomal tinggi. Prodi Teknik Elektro UNPAB (Prodi TE UNPAB) sebagai salah satu program studi yang mengelola bidang keahlian teknik tenaga listrik memiliki andil yang sangat penting dalam mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia usaha dan insdutri., Prodi TE UNPAB telah merespon dengan menyusun kurikulum berbasis KKNI 2015. Kurikulum Prodi TE UNPAB 2015 berbasis KKNI diusun sebagai cara untuk menjawab tantangan daya saing global, dimana lulusan yang dihasilkan oleh Prodi TE UNPAB diharapkan mampu bersaing secara global, terutama terkait dengan pemberlakukan Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA) yang menuntut partisipasi aktif lulusan dengan kompetensi dan kualitas daya saing sumber daya manusia. Persiapan pembentukan SDM kompetitif tersebut dilakukan dengan berbagai strategi yang termuat dalam Tujuh (7) Standard Pendidikan Tinggi, satu bagian diantaranya adalah penyelenggaraan proses belajar mengajar pada mata kuliah Analisis sistem tenaga listrik dengan materi analisis hubung singkat (Short Circuit Calculation . Mata kuliah ini merupakan mata kuliah inti yang menjadi landasan untuk kompetensi mata kuliah lainnya di semester lanjutan pada Prodi TE UNPAB. Pengembangan model Computer Based Learning (CBL) dilakukan dalam pembelajaran analisis Gangguan hubung singkat multi mesin yang meliputi: (a). Gangguan Hubung Singkat Satu fasa, (b) Gangguan Hubung Singkat Dua Fasa, (c) Gangguan Hubung Singkat Dua Fasa Ketanah , (d) Gangguan Hubung Singkat Satu Fasa Ketanah. Pengembangan model pembelajaran CBL untuk mata kuliah Analisis Sistem Tenaga listrik ini memberi ruang kepada mahasiswa untuk lebih aktif dalam pembelajaran dalam menyelesaikan masalah yang kompleks (rumit), sehingga menghasilkan keleluasaan cara belajar mahasiswa aktif menyelesaikan masalah analisis hubung singkat serta membentuk partisipasi aktif mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran (Student Center Learning) dalam proses kegiatan perkuliahan analisis sistem tenaga listrik.

Museum sebagai satu bagian cagar budaya di kawasan Deli Serdang, Sumatera Utara menjadi objek wisata penting masyarakat sekitar Sumatera Utara. Museum memiliki peran penting dalam mengedukasi masyarakat tentang peristiwa melalui peninggalan sejarah masa lalu dengan benda-benda koleksi dalam bentuk benda-benda seni budaya yang mengandung nilai keindahan estetika dan unik, merupakan penawar bagi para pengunjung yang berwisata. Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi dan Universitas Negeri Medan melalui kolaborasi kerja sama antar dosen pada kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (Abdimas) mengambil peran bekerjasama dengan pengelola Museum melaksanakan kegiatan implementasi teknologi bidang teknik elektro untuk melakukan penguatan terhadap penggunaan peralatan listrik bagi pengelola gedung budaya. Museum diresmikan sejak tahun 2003, saat ini telah beroperasi 18 tahun, tentu membutuhkan peninjauan kembali terkait kuat penerangan lampu yang sangat menyentuh estetika, kenyamanan dan keamanan kelistrikan ruang gedung dilakukan dengan metode pengukuran menggunakan lux meter. Sedangkan penguatan pemahaman tentang keamanan listrik dilakukan dengan sosialisasi standar PUIL 2000 kepada operator gedung yang mengelola kelistrikan. Kedua metode digunakan dalam kegiatan ABDIMAS tersebut menghasil rata-rata pengukuran kuat penerangan di lantai 1, lantai 2 dan lantai 3 masih memenuhi standar SNI 16 -7062-2004, dan pemahaman operator terkait PUIL 2000 pada bagian sistem kelistrikan tentang instalasi listrik gedung, pada tingkat pemahaman 82,1% pada katagori baik.

Technology-based on the Internet of Things (IoT) which is integrated with the NodeMCU ESP8266 device has produced intelligent equipment.The smart equipment is even able to display data in real-time through computer devices and smartphones while connected to the internet.However, NodeMCU ESP8266 has limitations on analog input channels, so sensors with analog output cannot be connected more than one.therefore, the multiplexer in the form of IC 4051 is used to add analog channels in NodeMCU ESP8266.IC 4051 has eight analog channels which are controlled by selector pins. Sensors connected to IC 4051 are temperature (LM35), humidity (HIH-4030), gas (MQ-2 and MQ-135).NodeMCU ESP8266 receives values ??from sensor readings and sends to the Firebase database via internet connection.The firebase database can be monitored via a smartphone by making its application on the MIT App Inventor.This experiment has succeeded in acquiring data from the four sensors using a multiplexer, then the data can be viewed via a smartphone.

Masa Pandemi Covid-19 memiliki efek peningkatan dalam penggunaan peralatan listrik. Penggunaan peralatan listrik yang baik dan benar harus diketahui karena merupakan alat yang langsung bersentuhan dengan manusia. Bahaya-bahaya yang dapat ditimbulkan karena penggunaan yang salah dan pemakaian peralatan–peralatan listrik yang di luar standar merupakan tindakan yang dapat membahayakan pengguna dan lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman tentang bahaya tegangan sentuh dan hubung singkat pada warga yang berada di desa Kota Pari, Serdang Bedagai. Penyampaian informasi dilakukan dengan metode wawancara langsung kepada warga yang berada pada desa Kota Pari sebagai analisis situasi, presentasi, pemutaran video dan tanya jawab merupakan metode yang dilakukan pada saat dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Peningkatan pemahaman tentang bahaya tegangan sentuh dan hubung singkat berhasil dilakukan dengan hasil peningkatan sebesar 80%. Sehingga diharapkan warga desa kota Pari dapat lebih memahami dan menghindari bahaya kebakaran yang pernah terjadi pada wilayah Serdang Bedagai umumnya dan desa kota Pari khususnya.

The research discusses the effectiveness of learning in the field of Electrical Power Transmission (EPT). The model developed by applying the Higher Other Thinking Skill (HOTS) strategy using computer simulation media at levels 4 and 5, which is not yet optimal in improving learning outcomes in the EPT field. The HOTS strategy at the level of analysis and evaluation is needed in the study of electric power transmission which has abstract study material through complex mathematical modeling, so it requires HOTS. Measurement of the effectiveness of EPT learning begins with a needs analysis, through 14 questions identifying learning needs. Furthermore, building EPT simulation media equipped with HOTS Practice questions, and Construct Model-Tracking-Simulation and Analysis (CTA) syntax in learning, as a strategy for achieving EPT learning. The media has been validated by 4 experts with the Aiken's V approach through media instrument validation with a value of 0.86 which is declared valid. It has been tested the effectiveness of learning as measured through trials in the experimental class and control class on 22 students in the control class and 23 students in the experiment class (45 respondents). In the control class, an inquiry model is applied, while the experimental class is a CTA based simulation model. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, the average value of the experimental class was 78,53 and 68,57 in the control class. The application of the simulation-based HOTS thinking skills strategy is effectively used by students in EPT learning.

The SMK Center of Excellence (CoE) program targets 491 schools and 4,586 teachers and principals with a focus on developing improved learning in the world of work, teacher competence, and vocational school heads, as well as facilities and infrastructure. SMK Swasta PAB 12 Saentis is one of the 9 public and private vocational schools in North Sumatra developed by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia through the Director General of Vocational Education to become a Center of Excellence in the Field of Hospitality in 2020. SMK Swasta PAB 12 Saentis which is located at Jl. Kali Serayau Desa/kelurahan Saentis Kecamatan Percut Sei Tua Kabupaten/Kota Deli Serdang Provinsi Prov. North Sumatra. SMK Private PAB 12 has an area of 41252 m2. However, SMK Swasta PAB 12 Saentis does not yet have a School Website that presents information related to school profiles, E-learning, and also graduate databases. the solution offered Create a school website that has e-learning, PPDB, and graduate tracing, as well as provide training on website utilization to administrative staff and provide training to teachers in managing learning using e-learning equipped with learning tools. After the Training Process is procured, the management of the school administration website can be independent in making an important article or information post. Teachers can already manage most of the e-learning of SMKS PAB 12 Scientists in filling learning content.

This research discusses the study of renewable energy potential in Palipi village, North Sumatra Province, renewable energy is an option in overcoming the problem of irrigating rice fields in Palipi village in the summer. The use of pumps in irrigation in Palipi Village, North Sumatra province for six hours requires 138,564 watts of electrical energy per day. Solar potential is the most feasible as an option in renewable energy development, through solar power plants. The research method uses a simulation of solar energy potential by determining the number of solar panels used in the electricity generation process. HelioScope was used as an assistive technology tool to find the maximum utilisation of the available space, the influence of shadows on solar panels was also taken into account for the feasibility study conducted. The total electrical energy obtained through PLTS generation in Palipi village is 10,345.5 kWh/year, with the largest loss of 13% influenced by temperature, while the shadow effect contributes to a loss of 0.9% due to the shadow factor of 1 building and an electricity tower pole at the location of the solar panel.

Di dunia yang semakin terdigitalisasi, akses terhadap teknologi dan keterampilan literasi digital menjadi sangat penting untuk partisipasi sosial dan ekonomi. Namun, banyak komunitas dan individu masih menghadapi hambatan yang signifikan dalam mengakses teknologi, yang mengakibatkan kesenjangan digital yang melanggengkan ketidaksetaraan. Proyek pengabdian masyarakat "Bridging the Digital Divide" ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi masalah ini dengan menyediakan akses ke teknologi, pelatihan, dukungan, dan peluang untuk inklusi digital. Melalui kemitraan dengan organisasi lokal, sukarelawan, dan keterlibatan masyarakat, inisiatif ini berupaya memberdayakan individu dan masyarakat dengan menjembatani kesenjangan antara mereka yang memiliki akses ke sumber daya digital dan mereka yang tidak. Makalah ini menyajikan latar belakang yang komprehensif mengenai kesenjangan digital, pentingnya inklusi digital, dan strategi yang digunakan dalam proyek layanan masyarakat.

This study intends to examine how online service quality and online recovery affect online loyalty and how they affect consumers' willingness to repurchase online. In this study, a non-probability sampling strategy with a purposeful sampling procedure was applied. A sample of 100 respondents who had purchased products from the marketplace were given questionnaires in order to obtain the data. The data in this study are analyzed using the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The findings of this study demonstrate that online repurchase intention and electronic service quality have an impact on online loyalty. This study also discovered that electronic service quality has an impact on online repurchase intention via electronic loyalty. Through electronic loyalty, electronic recovery also has an impact on online repurchase intention.
