Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning models and cognitive styles on historical learning outcomes after controlling for students' initial abilities. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Kisaran and SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran in Asahan Regency in the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2 treatment by level design. The sample of this research was 72 people who were taken by using cluster random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used was covariance analysis (ANAKOVA). The results showed that (1) The results of the history learning of the group of students who were taught with the GI model were higher than the group of students taught with the STAD model after controlling for students' initial abilities; (2) The learning outcomes of students who have a FI cognitive style are higher than students who have FD cognitive styles after controlling for students 'initial abilities, (3) There is an interaction effect between cooperative learning models and cognitive styles on historical learning outcomes after controlling for students' initial abilities, (4) The results of learning history between groups of students taught with the GI learning model were higher than the groups of students taught with the STAD model in students who had FI cognitive styles, (5) The results of learning history between groups of students taught with the STAD learning model were more higher compared to the group of students who were taught with the GI learning model, in students who had FD cognitive style after controlling for students' initial abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi dan persepsi peserta diklat terhadap hasil belajar Teknik Penyelamatan Jiwa di Laut, ,mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan persepsi peserta terhadap Diklat BST secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar Teknik Penyelamatan Jiwa di Laut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta (taruna) Diklat BST AMI Medan yang telah mengikuti kuliah Teknik Penyelamatan Jiwa di Laut semester 2 tahun akademik 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 90. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 73 orang atau 81% dari populasi yang di ambil dengan menggunakan Nomogram Harry King secara random sampling. Instrument pengumpulan data adalah tes kuesioner.Temuan penelitian ini adalah : (1) Terdapat hubungan yang positif motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar Teknik Penyelamatan Jiwa di Laut ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,3621; (2). Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara persepsi peserta terhadap Diklat BST dengan hasil Teknik Penyelamatan Jiwa di Laut ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,4537; (3). Terdapat hubungan yang positif antara motivasi belajar dan persepsi peserta terhadap Diklat BST secara bersama-sama dengan hasil belajar Teknik Penyelamatan Jiwa di Laut, ditunjukkan oleh koefisien korelasi ganda Ry12 = 0,5435

Abstract

Penguasaan kompetensi digital guru SMK sangat penting agar pembelajaran lebih responsif terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan industri. Namun, banyak guru masih menghadapi kendala dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi digital untuk pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini melibatkan 20 guru SMK di Kecamatan Perbaungan, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahap: (1) sosialisasi kurikulum responsif teknologi, (2) pelatihan intensif penggunaan Canva untuk pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran, dan (3) pendampingan serta evaluasi hasil. Instrumen evaluasi meliputi angket pemahaman (skala Likert 1–5), pre-test dan post-test keterampilan digital, serta penilaian produk perangkat pembelajaran. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan rata-rata skor pemahaman 62,50 (kategori kurang), meningkat menjadi 85,00 pada post-test (N-Gain = 0,60, kategori sedang–tinggi). Analisis angket menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap Canva sebesar 80% (kategori baik–sangat baik). Tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap materi pelatihan mencapai 72,6% (kategori baik), sementara 91% peserta mampu menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis Canva yang dinilai layak oleh validator ahli (rata-rata skor kelayakan 3,45 dari 4). Hasil ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan Canva efektif meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan digital, serta kreativitas guru dalam merancang perangkat pembelajaran interaktif. Program juga berhasil membentuk komunitas belajar guru yang aktif berkolaborasi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Dengan demikian, pelatihan serupa layak direplikasi di wilayah lain untuk memperkuat kompetensi digital guru SMK.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pembelajaran IPA di sekolah dasar masih didominasi pendekatan konvensional yang belum secara optimal mengembangkan literasi sains berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Kondisi ini juga ditemukan pada sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Langkat, ditandai dengan keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap model pembelajaran inovatif dan minimnya pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendiseminasikan dan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis proyek sebagai upaya meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang dan melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA yang berorientasi HOTS. Kegiatan dilaksanakan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif kolaboratif melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, diseminasi model, pelatihan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, pendampingan implementasi di kelas, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Sasaran kegiatan adalah 76 guru SD/MI di Kabupaten Langkat yang berasal dari sekolah negeri dan swasta. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, angket, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 85,5% guru mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap model inkuiri berbasis proyek, 77,6% guru mampu menyusun perangkat pembelajaran secara mandiri dengan kategori sangat valid, dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas mencapai 83,4% dengan kategori baik. Selain itu, sikap dan respons guru terhadap kegiatan berada pada kategori sangat baik. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa model inkuiri berbasis proyek efektif dan relevan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA serta memperkuat literasi sains berbasis HOTS di sekolah dasar. Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media using Google Sites in the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model to improve the learning outcomes of Catholic Religious Education students in grade VIII of Santa Maria Middle School, Medan. This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students, the limited use of digital media in learning, and the less than optimal use of learning models that are able to accommodate the characteristics of the digital generation. The developed media is designed to integrate learning materials, project activities, interactive multimedia, digital portfolios, and learning reflections in one platform that is easily accessible to teachers and students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects consisted of material experts, media experts, learning design experts, Catholic Religious Education teachers, and grade VIII students of Santa Maria Middle School, Medan. Research data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, documentation, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and quantitatively to assess the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed product. The research results are expected to produce valid, practical, and effective Google Sites-based learning media to improve students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes. This media development is expected to support more interactive, collaborative, and contextual Catholic religious education learning and meet the demands of 21st-century learning.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the validity of a teaching module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) integrated with a blended learning flipped classroom model in senior high school Biology learning. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the Dick and Carey instructional design model, which was limited to the formative evaluation stage through expert validation. The data were collected from four groups of experts, namely instructional design experts, subject matter experts, media experts, and language experts. The research instrument used was a Likert-scale validation sheet, and the data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative analysis techniques. The results revealed that the developed teaching module was categorized as feasible across all assessed aspects. Instructional design validation obtained 85.67%, subject matter validation 84.33%, media validation 80.16%, and language validation 82.78%. Overall, the teaching module is considered feasible for use in senior high school Biology learning, although minor revisions are still required, particularly in the media aspect. This module is expected to support student-centered learning, enhance conceptual understanding, and improve students’ higher-order thinking skills through the integration of PBL and the flipped classroom model.

Abstract

Background: Modern education emphasizes competencies in critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration, requiring adaptive models and learning media. At Maitreyawira Deli Serdang Private Junior High School, incompatible textbooks and media in Social Studies have resulted in low student learning outcomes.Aims: This research aims to develop a Problem-Based Learning assisted by Scratch Interactive to address these challenges.Methods: Utilizing the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), this study involved 30 students from class VII-E. Data were collected using feasibility questionnaires validated by six expert reviewers (2 media, 2 design, 2 material experts), a practicality questionnaire for students, and pre-test/post-test instruments to measure effectiveness. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques.Results: The validation tests revealed high feasibility: 88.71% (very valid) for material, 93.85% (very valid) for learning design, and 78.46% (valid) for media. The practicality test achieved 92.33% (very practical). Furthermore, the effectiveness test showed a significant increase from a pre-test score of 55.33% to a post-test score of 81.00%, supported by an N-Gain value of 0.51 (moderate improvement category).Conclusion: The PBL-based E-Module assisted by Scratch is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving seventh-grade students' understanding of Social Studies.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penguatan kompetensi Abad 21 (berpikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan literasi digital) menjadi tuntutan utama pendidikan tinggi, namun pembelajaran di Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran masih bersifat konvensional dan belum mengintegrasikan Artificial Intelligence (AI) secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Model Pembelajaran Integratif Berbasis Artificial Intelligence yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk memperkuat kompetensi Abad 21 mahasiswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 120 mahasiswa yang terbagi dalam kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, serta pre-test dan post-test. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji N-Gain, dan uji t-test. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan Model AI-DALM (AI-Integrated Dynamic Archive Learning Model) dengan sintaks lima tahapan: eksplorasi konsep, simulasi dan pemodelan, kolaborasi dan produksi, presentasi dan umpan balik, serta refleksi dan evaluasi. Model dinyatakan sangat valid (88,7%) dan sangat praktis (92%). Model terbukti efektif memperkuat kompetensi Abad 21 dengan N-Gain rata-rata 0,67 (p < 0,05) dan meningkatkan hasil belajar dengan N-Gain 0,71 serta kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 68,4%. Kesimpulannya, Model Pembelajaran Integratif Berbasis Artificial Intelligence yang dikembangkan valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam memperkuat kompetensi Abad 21 serta meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran. Abstract

Mathematics learning in junior high schools still faces various challenges, particularly in students’ low achievement and difficulties in understanding abstract concepts such as linear equations. This condition is reflected in Indonesia’s low performance in international assessments such as PISA and TIMSS, as well as the low mathematics achievement of students at SMP Swasta RK Fransiskus Xaverius Namorambe. The learning process remains teacher-centered and has not optimally utilized interactive digital learning media. Therefore, this study aims to develop a Problem Based Learning (PBL)-based E-Media using Google Sites to improve students’ mathematics learning outcomes on the topic of Linear Equations. This study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects were eighth-grade students of SMP Swasta RK Fransiskus Xaverius. Data were collected through interviews, observations, validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Data analysis techniques included validity analysis, practicality analysis, effectiveness analysis, normality and homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing. The novelty of this research lies in integrating Google Sites with the Problem Based Learning model to create an adaptive, interactive, and student-centered digital learning environment. The developed media is expected to be valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ understanding, motivation, critical thinking skills, and mathematics learning outcomes. This study also provides implications for the development of technology-based mathematics learning media in junior high schools.
