Abstract

The usage of manual keys in door security has become obsolete due to the increasing risk of theft and loss of valuable items. Observations at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Negeri Padang reveal the shortcomings of manual key systems, including the possibility of getting stuck, lost keys, and the inability to record access. TCAD (Tap Card Access Door) offers a solution by utilizing NFC and cameras to directly monitor door access. This research aims to develop TCAD that can real-time monitor door access and store usage data. The development method for TCAD follows the waterfall model, and the system is designed using PHP with the Laravel framework, JavaScript, MySQL as the DBMS, and Visual Studio Code as the editor. Test results demonstrate that TCAD with NFC and web-based monitoring simplifies access entry recording, facilitates data collection during user room access, and improves data search efficiency. With TCAD, it is expected that door security and access monitoring can be better controlled and more efficient in line with current technological advancements.

Abstract

The perfume industry in Indonesia has shown significant growth in line with the increasing consumer demand for beauty and fragrance products. One of the emerging businesses in this sector is Aishalina, a small and medium enterprise (SME) that focuses on the production and sale of affordable perfumes. However, Aishalina faces several challenges in its distribution process, including suboptimal inventory management, delivery delays, and inefficiencies in supply chain management. To address these issues, this study proposes the implementation of a web-based information system integrated with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. This system aims to automate the distribution process, monitor stock levels in real-time, and determine the optimal order quantity to minimize inventory-related costs. With a more efficient distribution system, Aishalina is expected to improve service speed, maintain product availability, and enhance customer satisfaction. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of a web-based information system using the EOQ method significantly contributes to improving operational efficiency and increasing the competitiveness of Aishalina in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a web based automatic complaint classification system using the Random Forest algorithm at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Pesisir Selatan Regency. The research applied the Research and Development (R&D) method, including needs analysis, system design, prototyping, testing, evaluation, and refinement. Complaint data in text form were processed through preprocessing stages (case folding, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming), followed by TF IDF feature extraction before classification using Random Forest. The model was evaluated using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score metrics. The results indicate that the system was successfully developed and is capable of classifying complaints automatically and in real time with good accuracy. The integration of Laravel and Flask API supports efficient classification, while the verification feature ensures category accuracy. The system improves efficiency, accelerates complaint grouping, and enhances public service quality.
