Abstract

Bencah Lesung village faces significant waste management issues, with local drainage obstructed by improperly disposed waste. This activity aimed to address non-organic waste accumulation in RW 06, Bencah Lesung, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, which has led to flooding and other environmental problems. The proposed solution is implementing the ecobrick concept, transforming plastic waste into sustainable construction materials. The study involved 20 residents in training and socialization on making and using eco-bricks. Methods included practical training and active community participation. Results showed a significant increase in community knowledge and awareness post-training. Quantitative data indicated improvements in scores from an average of 2.4 to 4.6 for knowledge about non-organic waste, 2.2 to 4.3 for understanding the environmental impact of plastic waste, 1.9 to 4.8 for skills in making eco-bricks, 2.6 to 4.7 for awareness of sustainable waste management, and 2.8 to 4.9 for the intention to continue making eco-bricks. Ecobricks not only reduce plastic waste but also provide economic and environmental benefits, with items like shoe racks and tables successfully created. This activity highlights the importance of community participation and environmental education to address plastic waste and promote environmental responsibility. The conclusion underscores the importance of innovative and collaborative waste management as a solution to urban environmental problems

Abstract

A healthy and efficient capital market requires transparent and accountable financial information disclosure. This study examines the role of regulations in ensuring financial information disclosure that protects investors' interests. Effective regulations establish minimum standards for companies to provide relevant, reliable, and timely information to reduce the risks of information asymmetry. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method with inductive data analysis, highlighting the importance of implementing reporting standards such as IFRS and PSAK, as well as the role of regulatory bodies like OJK in ensuring corporate compliance. The findings reveal that robust regulations enhance investor confidence, create an inclusive investment environment, and promote capital market stability. Despite challenges in regulatory implementation, the harmonization of international standards and stricter supervision can strengthen investor protection. This study recommends the development of adaptive regulations and stringent law enforcement to ensure fairness in capital markets.

Abstract

Kinerja manajerial merupakan aspek penting yang perlu ditingkatkan untuk mendukung keberhasilan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis studi pustaka tentang pengaruh desentralisasi dan sistem akuntansi terhadap kinerja manajerial. Melalui penelitian studi pustaka, peneliti menganalisis berbagai sumber pustaka untuk dijadikan pembahasan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian secara empiris membuktikan bahwa sentralisasi merupakan konsep yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap kinerja manajerial. Sedangkan sistem akuntansi manajemen tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja manajerial. Secara simultan, desentralisasi dan sistem akuntansi manajemen memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja manajerial. Untuk itu disarankan bagi lembaga atau organisasi untuk dapat meningkatkan proses pendelegasian wewenang atau desentralisasi serta mengoptimalkan sistem akuntansi manajemen agar dapat memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi bagi manajer dalam menjalankan proses manajerial. Semakin baik desentralisasi dan sistem yang diterapkan, maka akan semakin positif pula dampaknya terhadap kinerja manajerial untuk mendukung tercapainya tujuan perusahaan.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in national economic development, yet they still face major challenges, particularly in graphic design creativity and manual financial recordkeeping. Digitalization has become an urgent need to enable MSMEs to remain competitive amid the era of technological transformation. To address this need, a community service program was carried out in the form of training on the use of Canva and PosSaku application for MSME actors in the Food Court Nusantara area, Mal SKA. The aim of this activity was to improve participants’ understanding and skills in designing digital promotional brochures using Canva, as well as managing financial records more efficiently through the PosSaku application. The training method was participatory and interactive, consisting of material delivery, independent practice, mentoring, and evaluation of participants’ work. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the participants’ skills, which included business owners and employees of a fried chicken (ayam geprek) business. All participants were able to independently create promotional brochures using Canva and gained an understanding of the importance of visual branding in business. Moreover, the use of PosSaku enabled participants to record sales and expenses in real-time, prepare simple financial reports, and make business decisions based on actual data. This training successfully raised participants’ awareness of the importance of technology for business sustainability and development, and served as an initial step toward broader digital transformation for MSMEs.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) constitute a significant segment of the economy; however, many entities in this sector continue to face challenges related to business management and marketing strategies. Warung Oma Abang serves as an illustration of a culinary MSME that has faced a myriad of issues, including no registration on Google Maps, inadequate promotional activities, lack of a menu catalog, reliance on manual transaction documentation, and unavailability of digital payment options such as QRIS. The primary objective of this initiative was to improve the visibility and operational efficacy of Warung Oma Abang through comprehensive mentoring. The methodology used included problem identification, formulation of strategic solutions, and direct implementation in a practical setting. The mentoring effort involved registration on Google Maps, a menu catalog, creating promotional banners, managing an Instagram account as a platform for promotions, shifting financial records to a simplified digital framework, and facilitating the QRIS registration process. The results of this initiative showed increased online visibility, increased customer accessibility to the menu, improved aesthetic appeal, and increased efficiency in financial documentation and payment modalities. In conclusion, mentoring that uses a practical and focused methodology can significantly assist MSMEs in overcoming operational challenges and expanding their customer reach.

Abstract

This article discusses how digital technology is applied at Singgalang Phone Store through a community service program. The goal of this program is to help Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) better understand and use digital technology to make their businesses more efficient. The activities include training on digital financial record-keeping, using QR Codes for payments, and marketing strategies that involve technology. The results show that digital technology helps speed up work and increase customer satisfaction. In conclusion, digital technology is very important for supporting the growth and sustainability of MSMEs.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of Management Information Systems in data and information management in the MSME business of Rumah Makan Ananda in improving operational efficiency. This service aims to help MSMEs in understanding and utilizing digital technology in order to make their business more effective. The methods used are observation and interviews as well as direct assistance as training for MSMEs. The activities carried out include training on how to record finances using Warung Books, the use of QR Codes for payments, and marketing strategies that utilize technology. The results of the study show that technology-based has a positive impact and facilitates transactions that increase customer satisfaction. In conclusion, the optimal implementation of the Management Information System (SIM) can improve work efficiency and accelerate various operational processes that have a real impact on MSMEs.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve operational and financial efficiency for MSMEs engaged in animal health services, namely Zenith Animal Care Animal Clinic, located in Pekanbaru. Previously, this clinic did not have a digital system for managing patients' medical records, cashier applications, and modern payment systems, which resulted in low service efficiency and accountability of financial transactions. In this activity, the service team provided education and assistance in the use of the SIMRAISHA application as a digital medical record system and integrated cashier system, as well as implementing QRIS-based digital payment methods. In addition, the team also helps compile price lists for clinic services so that price information is more transparent and easily accessible to customers. The method of the activity was carried out through a participatory approach, direct training, and evaluation of implementation results for two weeks. The results of this activity show that the partners are able to operate both applications independently, as well as an increase in transaction time efficiency and ease of tracking veterinary medical records. The use of QRIS also provides ease of payment for customers who were previously limited to cash methods. This activity shows the importance of education on the digitization of operational systems for health service MSMEs as part of strengthening the digital economy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengevaluasi, dan mengelola risiko keamanan informasi yang mungkin terjadi dalam lingkungan perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT.Astra Internasional telah menghadapi berbagai risiko keamanan informasi, termasuk ancaman keamanan dari pihak eksternal dan internal, kerentanan sistem, serta kehilangan atau penyalahgunaan data karyawan dan pelanggan. Untuk mengelola risiko tersebut, perusahaan telah menerapkan serangkaian langkah-langkah, termasuk implementasi kebijakan keamanan informasi, pelatihan bagi karyawan, dan investasi dalam teknologi keamanan informasi. Kesimpulannya, manajemen risiko keamanan informasi menjadi penting bagi perusahaan otomotif seperti PT.Astra Internasional dalam menghadapi ancaman yang terus berkembang terhadap keamanan informasi. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga bagi praktisi dan peneliti di bidang manajemen risiko dan keamanan informasi, serta menekankan pentingnya pendekatan holistik dalam mengelola risiko keamanan informasi untuk mencapai tujuan bisnis yang berkelanjutan dan perlindungan terhadap aset perusahaan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors that influence UMKM understanding of the application of financial reports based on SAK EMKM to UMKM in Pekanbaru. This type of research is quantitative research. Data analysis uses the multiple linear regression analysis method with understanding of UMKM as the dependent variable and four independent variables: level of education, business scale, business age and accounting knowledge. The research sample was 100 respondents. The results of this research state that the education level variable has a significant effect on the understanding of UMKM in UMKM in Pekanbaru. Business scale has a significant effect on understanding UMKM in UMKM in Pekanbaru. The age of the business has a significant effect on the understanding of UMKM in UMKM in Pekanbaru. Accounting knowledge has a significant influence on the understanding of UMKM in UMKM in Pekanbaru.
