Abstract

Evaluation of Arabic language learning in higher education is needed for quality assurance of a learning system. The evaluation should not assess the mere students’ learning output, but involve all aspects of learning program including objectives, planning, implementation and output. This study aims to uncover the implementation of evaluation of Arabic learning program in higher education with the CIPP model, from the emergence of the idea to the result achieved after the program is implemented. It is a theoretical study, which is not based on empirical data in the field. The application of the CIPP model in evaluating Arabic language learning in higher education is conducted by collecting data and information about context, input, process and products of a learning program comprehensively and continuously. More specifically, context evaluation is directed to assess data concerning the purpose and background of a learning program. Input evaluation is conducted to examine the accuracy of the curriculum, students, lecturers and infrastructures. Meanwhile, process evaluation is carried out to reveal the suitability of the curriculum, teaching materials and media in a learning activity. Product evaluation is intended to provide data and information about the outputs and outcomes of Arabic language learning.

Abstract

Many students at Wathoniyah Islamiyah Junior High School (Madrasah Tsanawiyah) Kebumen graduated from public elementary schools, so many had not have adequate knowledge of the Arabic language. This study is essential because students' diverse vocabulary and grammatical comprehension influenced their writing and spelling ability. The current study investigates the influence of vocabulary and grammatical comprehension on eighth grade students' spelling writing abilities at Wathoniyah Islamiyah Kebumen. All eighth-grade students at Wathoniyah Islamiyah Junior High School were recruited in this research. The study employed a quantitative design and purposive sampling technique to test the sample. The researchers obtained the data using documentation and analyzed the data using multiple regression tests. The results indicated that the F value is 11.250, and the F table with the value from the table at a 5% significance level = 3.385. Therefore, the F count exceeds the F table. The findings also indicated that the students' vocabulary and grammatical knowledge and comprehension have a substantial influence on their spelling and writing skill. Therefore, the research hypothesis is acceptable.

Abstract

Pembahasan terkait Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar banyak sekali dibicarkan, namun belum banyak yang membicarakan sikap yang ditunjukkan guru Pendidikan Agama Islam terkait pengaruh pengalaman dan masa kerja terhadap sikap guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh pengalaman dan masa kerja terhadap sikap guru pendidikan agama Islam pada kurikulum merdeka belajar. Analisis mencakup: analisis deskriptif menggunakan analisis varian sederhana dan analisi kovarian (ANACOVA). Penelitian kuantitatif ini bersandar pada data kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Partisipan riset melibatkan 71 guru MGMP PAI SMP dan SMA di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sikap guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Masa kerja berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sikap guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar. Dan pengalaman dan masa kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap sikap guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka belajar.
