Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendapatan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat, pengaruh pendidikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat, pengaruh konsumsi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat dan pengaruh secara bersama-sama pendapatan, pendidikan, dan konsumsi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat kota Balikpapan Provinsi Kalimantan Timur dalam kurun waktu tahun 2005-2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode analisis data regresi linier berganda. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam kesejahteraan masyarakat adalah nilai indeks pembangunan manusia (IPM). Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel PDRB, pariabel pendidikan, variabel konsumsi masyarakat dan variabel IPM kota Balikpapan pada tahun 2005-2014. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) ada pengaruh signifikan positif pendapatan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat kota Balikpapan, 2) ada pengaruh signifikan positif pendidikan terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat kota Balikpapan, 3) ada pengaruh signifikan positif konsumsi terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat kota Balikpapan, 4) pendapatan, pendidikan, dan konsumsi mempunyai pengaruh signifikan posistif terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat kota Balikpapan. Dari hasil tersebut disarankan 1) pemerintah daerah dapat memberikan kontrol terhadap pertumbuhan nilai PDRB dalam memberikan kebijakan untuk investor yang ingin berinvestasi, 2) pemerintah daerah agar dapat memberikan dukungan terhadap program peningkatan mutu pendidikan, 3) kecenderungan masyarakat untuk konsumsi non makanan lebih ditingkatkan lagi, 4) peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pendidikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dikota Balikpapan, pengaruh tenaga kerja terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di kota Balikpapan dan tingkat pendidikan dan tenaga kerja terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di kota Balikpapan provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel tingkat pendidikan kota Balikpapan dari tahun 2006 hingga tahun 2014, variabel tenaga kerja kota Balikpapan dari tahun 2006 hingga tahun 2014 dan variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi kota Balikpapan dari tahun 2006 hingga tahun 2014. Sedangkan sampel pada penelitian ini sama dengan jumlah populasi yang ada. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi berganda (multiple regression). Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa secara parsial tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, tenaga kerja berpengaruh signifikan positif terhadap tenaga kerja serta secara simultan tingkat pendidikan dan tenaga kerja berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi kota Balikpapan provinsi Kalimantan Timur.t

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh secara parsial dan simultan antara Lingkungan Kerja dan Motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan Bank Maybank Balikpapan Tahun 2019. Penelian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 91 karyawan sebagai responden. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persamaan regresi linier berganda pada penelitian ini diketahui bahwa Y = 2,271 + 0,272 X1 + 0,129 X2. Bukti langsung Lingkungan Kerja (X1), Motivasi (X2) berpengaruh secara parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan (Y). Dan variabel Lingkungan Kerja (X1) dan Motivasi (X2) berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap kinerja (Y) Karyawan Bank Maybank Balikpapan Tahun 2019.

Abstract

Effective sentences are foundations in writing skills. However, there are still many students who have not applied the effective sentence t-shirt correctly. One inhibiting factor in the lack of knowledge about effective sentences is the lack of knowledge about effective sentences. There needs to be activities to support this knowledge. The effort made is education to students about effective sentences. The aim is to improve students' writing skills in effective sentences. The method used in Community Service (PkM) is the method of lecture and discussion. This method is used to improve students' analytical abilities against sentences. This activity is carried out with four stages, namely preparation, implementation by counseling by providing material: understanding, type, characteristics, and examples of effective sentences, as well as evaluation, and preparation of reports. The organizer of this activity is the Balikpapan University FKIP Lecturer. Participants in this activity are class X RB 3 State Vocational High School 3 Balikpapan. This activity was carried out in class X RB 3, address on Belibis Street number 100, South Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The result of this activity is that students can write effective sentences characterized by 70% structural equivalence, 70% compatibility of forms, 80% economy of words, 60% accuracy of reasoning, 60% cohesiveness of ideas, and 75% logicality of language.

Abstract

In the current digital era, communication has become an integral element in daily life, with significant impacts on individual psychology. This research aims to examine the impact of communication on individual psychology, particularly in the context of information technology and social media. The research method employed is a literature analysis involving a study of various articles, books, and scholarly journals related to the topic. The analysis results indicate that communication through information technology and social media has a complex influence on individual psychology. It is found that the use of social media can affect self-esteem, self-image, anxiety, and emotional well-being. Additionally, there are also negative impacts such as addiction, depression, and sleep disturbances associated with intensive communication patterns via social media. However, the research also highlights the positive potential of digital communication in facilitating social support, expanding social networks, and enhancing individual psychological well-being.

Abstract

Elections are a voting process carried out by voting by all Indonesian people every 5 years. Elections in 2024 will be held simultaneously to elect legislative candidates such as the DPR and executive candidates such as the President and Vice President. In the 2024 election period, during the ongoing process there was political involvement carried out by the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely Joko Widodo. Because the Candidate Pairs (Paslon) involved have a close relationship with Jokowi. In order to achieve Indonesia's target as a developed country and achieve Golden Indonesia 2045, targets must be achieved. Therefore, determining the next leader is very important in order to lead Indonesia to become a developed country.

Abstract

Assertive communication plays a key role in building positive and productive working relationships in an organization. This research aims to explore the influence of assertive communication on work effectiveness and productivity in the context of work relations in companies. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach by collecting data through interviews and observations in various organizations. The research results show that assertive communication, which prioritizes respect for the rights and feelings of other people while expressing opinions openly and firmly, can reduce conflict, increase cooperation, and improve the work atmosphere. Apart from that, assertive communication also contributes to reducing stress, increasing self-confidence, and clarifying expectations between team members. By implementing assertive communication techniques, such as active listening, stating expectations clearly, and providing constructive criticism, work productivity in an organization can increase significantly. This research provides recommendations for organizations to develop assertive communication skills among all members to create a more harmonious work environment and support the achievement of common goals.
