Abstract

Digital media has a role in establishing two-way communication. Two-way communication itself consists of several factors, one of which is the influence of digital media on interpersonal communication, highlighting the challenges and opportunities that arise. Technological transformations, especially social media, have changed the way individuals interact, creating global connectivity but also reducing emotional engagement and depth of relationships. This research found that although digital media facilitates greater interaction, there are risks to the quality of communication and social skills. Therefore, it is important to manage the use of digital media in order to maintain the quality of effective interpersonal communication. This study focuses on the realm of interpersonal communication, specifically examining the effects of social media on the interpersonal communication of adolescents. The objective is to assess how social media impacts these interactions. The methodology employed is qualitative, with data gathered through literature review and comprehensive interviews with a select group of teenagers. The analysis of qualitative data is an interactive process that begins at the early stages of research and continues until results are obtained. Findings indicate that social media usage does influence the interpersonal communication of teenagers, potentially leading to a decrease in direct interactions and a possible desensitization to real-world situations. It is imperative, therefore, that teenagers are provided with exemplary models of communication.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of interpersonal relationships (relationships) on leadership style in a company at PT DISTRIBUSI SUKSES MANDIRI. An effective leadership style is considered crucial in creating a productive and harmonious work environment, while good relationships between individuals within a company can influence the quality of leadership. This research uses a quantitative approach by interviewing the operational director at the company. Data was collected through interviews that measured interpersonal relationships, leadership style, and team performance. The results of the analysis show that good relationships between employees and superiors significantly influence the leadership style applied, with more inclusive and participative leadership appearing in companies with stronger interpersonal relationships. These findings indicate the importance of effective relationship management in improving leadership quality and organizational performance. This research provides practical implications for companies to strengthen interpersonal relationships in the workplace as a strategy for building more adaptive and collaborative leadership.

Abstract

Generasi Z, a younger generation in the digital era, uses active social media for effective communication. They use emojis and group chats, but are less formal in formal communication and more informal. Digital communication has both positive and negative effects on their social interactions. Education on media literacy and information literacy is crucial for Genrasi Z to improve critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills.

Abstract

Every organization must have problems, problems that often arise in organizations are disharmonious relationships between leaders and their members, or between fellow members. This problem is caused by interference barriers in organizational communication. All organizational activities will run in accordance with their respective duties and functions if communication takes place effectively in all lines of the organization. Conversely, failure to foster effective and harmonious communication will hamper the implementation of tasks in the organization. Without communication there is no coordination, and without coordination there will be overlapping work, confusion of information, and misunderstanding in interpreting and carrying out organizational tasks. Organizational leaders are the spearhead of the organization to create comfort, bring motivation, and foster loyalty to the organization. every organization must apply the principles of public relations and human relations in order to build effective communication quality.

Abstract

Kemimpinan merupakan faktor krusial yang memengaruhi interaksi, motivasi, dan efektivitas kerja dalam tim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur, dengan mengacu pada berbagai sumber terpercaya seperti jurnal ilmiah dan artikel akademis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga gaya kepemimpinan utama, yaitu otoriter, demokratis, dan laissez-faire, yang masing-masing memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangan. Gaya kepemimpinan demokratis terbukti paling efektif dalam menciptakan suasana kerja yang kolaboratif, meningkatkan partisipasi anggota, dan mendorong inovasi. Di sisi lain, hubungan kerja yang berkualitas dipengaruhi oleh beberapa dimensi, termasuk komunikasi, kolaborasi, motivasi, dan dukungan timbal balik. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya gaya kepemimpinan yang adaptif dalam membangun hubungan kerja yang harmonis serta meningkatkan motivasi dan kinerja anggota tim. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting bagi organisasi dalam memahami peran gaya kepemimpinan terhadap hubungan kerja yang produktif serta menawarkan panduan bagi pemimpin untuk mengembangkan pendekatan yang efektif dalam mengelola tim.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dari penerapan konsep AIDA dalam strategi komunikasi pemasaran pada konten tiktok @tiebymin. Tiktok sebagai media sosial yang terus berkembang dengan pesat memiliki peluang besar bagi para pengusaha dan pemasar untuk melakukan interaksi dengan audians secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dan kreatif. Melalui pendeketan dengan konsep AIDA ini @tiebymin berhasil menarik perhatian audiens dengan konten yang menarik, membangkitkan minat, menciptakan keinginan melalui elemen emosional dan bukti sosial, serta mendorong tindakan yang aktif. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis konten ini dengan mengevaluasi bagaimana setiap tahapan konsep AIDA ini diterapkan dalam video yang dipublikasikan @tiebymin.

Abstract

The development of digital technology, especially social media, has brought significant changes in the way of interacting and communicating among the younger generation, especially Gen Z. Gen Z, who was born between 1997 and 2012, grew up in the digital era where social media became the main platform for connecting, sharing information, and building community. This study aims to explore the influence of social media on social interaction among Gen Z, with a focus on the positive and negative impacts arising from the use of social media in their daily lives. Social media allows Gen Z to connect with peers, form identities, and participate in various virtual communities. However, while it provides an opportunity to expand social networks, research shows that social media can also reduce the quality of deeper social relationships. Interactions that occur in cyberspace tend to be more superficial compared to face-to-face communication, which can interfere with the development of social skills and empathy. In addition, social comparisons that often occur on social media also affect mental health, causing feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and dissatisfaction with oneself.

Abstract

This study shows that team collaboration dynamics greatly affect work quality and goal achievement. These dynamics include various elements, including communication, coordination, interdependence, and trust among team members. The methodology of this study aims to provide detailed insights into team collaboration dynamics and work efficiency, with a focus on organizational success in achieving organizational goals. The interpersonal communication patterns of managers that were found and had a significant impact on Caffe Otsukohi team performance were democratic communication patterns and laissez-faire communication patterns. Supporting factors for interpersonal communication between managers and Caffe Otsukohi employees include transformational leadership, a positive work environment, effective communication channels, and shared goals.

Abstract

This research which discusses the role of content marketing in product quality in the TikTok application has a significant influence on the perception of product quality in TikTok. The majority of respondents stated that creative and relevant content influenced their perspective on product quality, tended to rate positively when the content presented could attract attention with clear information and build emotional connections. Further analysis of TikTok video content shows success based on the utilization of trends, selection of appropriate narratives, use of features such as hastag challenges. However, the success of content cannot be separated from a deep understanding of the target audience, therefore brand personalization must be a balance between entertainment and promotion.

Abstract

Human relations or relationships between people are one of the important elements in the success of an organization. This concept includes communication, social interaction, and effective leadership within the organization. This journal aims to review the importance of human relations in increasing employee productivity and welfare, based on an analysis of several scientific journals. Based on existing literature, the implementation of good human relations contributes greatly to creating a positive work environment and increasing team effectiveness.
