Abstract

This community service activity aims to train and assist the Tanjung Pinggir village community in developing community potential through the use of inorganic waste counting machine technology. This activity's target audience consists of ten people from the Tanjung Pinggir village community in Pematangsiantar city. This activity is trained and mentored through lectures, demonstrations, and exercises, which are supplemented by questions and answers. The lecture method is used to explain business concepts and theories that are based on technology. The demonstration method is used to explain a future technology work process. While the training method is used to practice technology-based media, the question and answer method allows participants to consult on media development problems. The enthusiasm of the participants, pangulu, and activity funds aided in the implementation of this activity. The participants did not have prior knowledge of technology, and there was limited time for training. Participants can benefit from this service activity by increasing participant business sales

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi keuangan serta penerapan prinsip akuntansi syariah pada wirausaha muda di Desa Sidamanik Kabupaten Simalungun. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dirancang sebagai pembelajaran kontekstual dalam Mata Kuliah Akuntansi Syariah dengan melibatkan mahasiswa dalam pendampingan usaha mikro dan kecil berbasis nilai-nilai syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah service learning melalui workshop literasi keuangan, praktik pembukuan sederhana sesuai prinsip PSAK Syariah, serta pendampingan penyusunan laporan arus kas yang menjunjung transparansi, keadilan, dan akuntabilitas. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman pemisahan dana pribadi dan usaha, kemampuan pencatatan transaksi, serta kesadaran terhadap prinsip usaha halal dan bebas riba. Berbagai penelitian lima tahun terakhir menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan dan prinsip keuangan syariah berpengaruh positif terhadap keberlanjutan UMKM serta perilaku keuangan yang etis. Kegiatan ini memperkuat kompetensi mahasiswa sekaligus mendukung penguatan ekonomi desa berbasis nilai akuntansi syariah

Abstract

Every company is required to participate in competition. One of the efforts made by companies to remain competitive is by improving the quality of their production results. Improved quality will reduce the occurrence of defective products, thereby increasing profits. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of quality costs on defective products at CV. Aneka Ilmu Pematangsiantar. The object of this research is CV. Aneka Ilmu Pematangsiantar. The variables examined are quality costs (prevention costs and appraisal costs) and defective products. Data were collected using the documentation method, and the obtained data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that quality costs are a valuable investment in minimizing defective products at CV. Aneka Ilmu Pematangsiantar. The significant relationship between quality costs and defective products should be considered by company management to achieve overall better product quality, thus reducing the occurrence of defective products

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the accounting information system of cash receipts and expenditures at PDAM Tirtauli Pematangsiantar and assess the effectiveness of its implementation. Accounting information systems have an important role in managing financial data into accurate and usable information in decision-making. The research method used is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the accounting information system for cash receipts and cash expenditures at PDAM Tirtauli has clear procedures and runs according to the provisions. However, in its implementation, there are still several weaknesses such as suboptimal separation of duties, lack of supervision, and documentation that is not well organized. This shows that internal control has not been running optimally. Therefore, improvements are needed in the system in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of cash management

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of accounting information systems in the death insurance claim payment process at PT Taspen (Persero) Pematangsiantar Branch Office. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through data collection techniques including interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results show that the accounting information system has been implemented systematically from claim submission, document verification, data processing, to fund disbursement. The system is considered effective in improving efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy of information, although there are still obstacles such as incomplete documents affecting the process. Thus, the accounting information system plays an important role in supporting operational performance and service quality
