Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia masih rendah padahal Indonesia merupakan negara yang memiliki banyak Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). namun SDM tersebut tidak mampu bersaing secara internasional salah satunya disebabkan oleh prestasi yang rendah. Penelitian ini merupakan studi pustaka terhadap mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran supervisi pendidikan dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif, yang dikategorikan menjadi dua jenis, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Sumber data diperoleh melalui teknik penelitian kepustakaan (library study) yang mengacu pada sumber yang tersedia baik online maupun offline seperti: jurnal ilmiah, buku dan berita yang bersumber dari sumber terpercaya. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa Supervisi dirancang untuk mengembangkan dan meningkatkan profesionalisme guru sehingga guru tersebut dapat berkembang dalam pekerjaannya. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses belajar mengajar. Supervisi merupakan bantuan kepada guru dalam perbaikan situasi belajar-mengajar. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan supervisi pendidikan memiliki fungsi berupa coordinator, konsultan, evaluator. Langkah – langkah dalam melakukan supervisi dibagi kedalam 3 langkah, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, Evaluasi.

Abstract

This research plan departs from interviews with parents and several educational practitioners regarding problems in implementing the 2013 Curriculum. The results of these interviews show that the competency demands that elementary school students must master today are more complex than in the previous curriculum implementation period. The subject matter taught to elementary school students, especially in the upper grades (grades 4 to grade 6), is material that was previously taught at the junior high school level, perhaps even in some high schools. Referring to Piaget's theory of cognitive development, the construction of the 2013 curriculum is designed in such a way as to engineer children's cognitive development beyond their biological age. If according to Piaget, the last stage of cognitive development is formal operational which is reached after children are 11 years old or more, then in the construction of the 2013 Curriculum it is necessary to assume that children are encouraged to reach this cognitive stage more quickly. This research aims to test whether the stages of cognitive development according to Piaget are still relevant to the current condition of students in Indonesia. The duration of the research is 6 months with a quantitative approach. The unit of analysis is elementary school students in Mataram City whose level of cognitive development will be measured. Research outputs are targeted in research results reports and articles published in accredited national journals Sinta 3 or international journals. The TKT that is expected to be achieved is at level 3, namely confirmation of the relevance of a theory and basis for determining policy, especially in developing educational curricula.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the trend (tendency) of teacher perceptions regarding the implementation of character education strategies at the elementary education level. This study is a quantitative study with a survey method. Data collection using a questionnaire given to 60 students and teachers as respondents from 40 schools in Lombok, Sumbawa, Bima, and Dompu. The results of the study showed that teacher perceptions of school readiness to implement character education through multi-strategy interventions at the elementary education level were the lowest at 61% and the highest at 94%, which means they were ready and very ready

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebijakan dan proses penganggaran sarana dan prasarana di SMKN 1 Tanjung, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi, dan mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus merupakan penelitian yang bermaksud untuk memahami fenomena tentang apa yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelemahan manajemen fasilitas, seperti tidak adanya evaluasi pasca-pengadaan, minimnya pemeliharaan, dan keamanan yang rendah akibat ketiadaan pagar pembatas. Kendala lain meliputi: prosedur pengadaan yang lambat dan alokasi anggaran yang tidak berbasis prioritas. Dampaknya adalah kesulitan siswa dalam belajar, terganggunya kualitas pembelajaran, dan keterbatasan penguasaan kompetensi. Rekomendasi yang diberikan mencakup perbaikan evaluasi, pengalokasian anggaran berbasis kebutuhan, serta penguatan keamanan dan pemeliharaan fasilitas untuk mendukung mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Sendang Gile tourism on the behavior of junior high school students at SMPN 3 Bayan, North Lombok Regency, during the 2022/2023 academic year. Tourism in the Bayan area not only provides economic impacts but also social and cultural consequences, particularly on adolescent behavior. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results revealed that tourism significantly influenced student behavior, both positively and negatively. Positive impacts included improved communication skills, openness, and enthusiasm for learning foreign languages. Negative impacts involved tendencies to imitate tourist lifestyles that are inconsistent with local norms. Supporting factors included parental, school, and village government support, while inhibiting factors were weak social control and lack of environmental supervision. In conclusion, Sendang Gile tourism plays an important role in shaping student behavior, requiring collaborative efforts among parents, schools, and the community to direct tourism’s influence in a positive direction.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the School Committee in enhancing education quality at MI Hidayatul Atfal Batu Samban, West Lombok, during 2023. Employing a descriptive qualitative method through observation, interviews, and documentation, findings show that the committee performs three essential functions: (1) supporting through financial assistance, infrastructure, and learning activities; (2) advising by providing input for programs and management; and (3) controlling by monitoring program implementation and fund accountability. Key challenges include limited community economic capacity, low parental awareness, and inadequate skills among committee members. To overcome these, the committee strengthens communication with school leadership, promotes self-help initiatives, and encourages community participation. The study highlights the importance of collaboration among committees, school leaders, teachers, and the community, recommending capacity building and stronger regulatory support to sustain improvements.

Abstract

The Cultural Saturday Program is an innovative effort to integrate local Sasak cultural values into character education in elementary schools in Mataram, Indonesia. This research evaluates the implementation, effectiveness and challenges of the program, while providing recommendations for future improvements. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data was collected through interviews, observation and document analysis at SDN 43 Mataram and SD Hadi Sakti. The findings show that there is a structured program that is supported by a strong policy foundation and effective design, although there are challenges in the form of limited funding and minimal parental involvement. This program successfully instills values such as discipline, tolerance and social responsibility through culturally relevant activities. Recommendations include increasing financial support, increasing parental involvement, and utilizing digital technology to enrich cultural learning. This research contributes to discussions about culture-based education and its role in forming character holistically.
