Abstract

This article investigates the utilization of E-Government applications within the framework of network governance in Indonesia’s local administration. Drawing on both qualitative and quantitative methods, this study captures public perceptions of electronic information-based government services and explores the political and institutional dynamics underlying their implementation. Data were collected through questionnaires, document analysis, interviews, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with purposively selected informants, including leaders and staff from local government institutions. The findings demonstrate that e-government platforms enhance service efficiency, transparency, and public satisfaction. Moreover, these applications promote openness in financial management and intra-organizational communication, contributing to greater trust and comfort among citizens. Framed within the theory of network governance, the study reveals how digital service delivery is not merely a technical process but a political one—shaped by inter-institutional collaboration, administrative adaptability, and the evolving role of the state in a digitally mediated environment. These insights affirm the growing necessity of integrating digital infrastructure with political and organizational readiness to achieve effective and sustainable governance in the digital age.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan mobil M-Cap Diskominfo Kabupaten TanahDatar dalam melakukan sosialisasi Covid-19 di Pasar Batusangkar Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Penelitian inimenggunakan metode deskriptif dengan paradigma positivistik untuk menjelaskan dan menggambarkan objekpenelitian berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari responden melalui kuisioner. Pengambilan sampel dilakukandengan metode purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden yang diperoleh sebanyak 100 orang dengan kriteriapedagang pasar dan pengunjung pasar. Responden terdiri dari 51 orang berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan 49 orangberjenis kelamin perempuan. Berdasarkan uji validitas terdapat 2 pertanyaan yang tidak valid, maka pertanyaanyang tidak valid dapat dihilangkan. Berdasarkan hasil uji realibilitas disimpulkan bahwa kuesioner yangdigunakan sudah reliable. Hasil analisis yaitu tidak ada responden yang masuk ke dalam kriteria penilaian sangatrendah, 56 responden yang termasuk ke dalam kriteria penilaian rendah, 43 responden yang termasuk ke dalamkriteria penilaian cukup, 1 responden yang termasuk ke dalam kriteria penilaian tinggi, dan tidak ada respondenyang masuk dalam kriteria sangat tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa mobil MCAP dinilai belum efektif dalammenyampaikan komunikasi terkait protokol Kesehatan Covid-19. Kata Kunci-Covid-19, protokol kesehatan, mobil M-Cap, efektifitas

Abstract

Tempo has transformed its news presentation strategy by developing more engaging video and audio content, particularly through the Bocor Alus Politik podcast. The commodification process within this podcast is intriguing to examine from a media political economy perspective. This study analyzes the implementation of Vincent Mosco’s theory of commodification covering content, audience, and labor in the Bocor Alus Politik podcast on YouTube. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis, the research explores how investigative journalism is repackaged into commercially viable digital products. The findings show that content commodification occurs through casual formats, provocative titles, and branding strategies that enhance exchange value while promoting Tempo’s premium subscription services. Audience commodification is reflected in the transformation of viewers into measurable assets through data extraction, watch time, and engagement metrics such as likes and shares that strengthen algorithmic visibility. Labor commodification reveals that journalists’ expertise, time, and reputation are capitalized as intangible assets to boost digital performance, often blurring the boundary between editorial independence and commercial demands. This study highlights the tension between economic sustainability and journalistic integrity in the digital platform era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of billboard content on the electability of female mayoral candidates in the 2024 Kendari City Regional Head Elections (Pilkada). The main issue underlying this study is the fact that every Pilkada in Kendari City always features female candidates, but they repeatedly experience defeat despite conducting political campaigns through various outdoor media, including billboards. The method used is a descriptive quantitative approach with simple random sampling technique and a total of 123 respondents. The independent variable in this study is billboard content, while the dependent variable is candidate electability. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS version 26. The results showed that billboard content had a positive and significant effect on the electability of female candidates (Hₐ accepted and H₀ rejected), with a value of R = 0.471, R² = 0.222, and significance p = 0.000. This means that 22.2% of the variation in candidate electability is explained by the quality of billboard content, especially in terms of visual aspects, social messages, and gender issues. These findings prove that billboards are still an effective campaign medium in enhancing the image and electability of female candidates at the local level. This finding confirms that billboards still have a strategic function in local political communication because they are able to build image, assert the political identity of candidates, and convey social and gender issues that are relevant to the political goals of female candidates. This study implies that optimizing billboard content can contribute to increasing the political competitiveness of women in electoral contests at the regional level.

Abstract

Program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menginstitusionalkan pemahaman tentang penipuan online (online scam) pada Generasi Z (Gen Z) sebagai generasi yang paling intens terkoneksi dengan dunia digital sehingga memiliki risiko yang besar dan nyata untuk menjadi korban penipuan online (online scam), mulai dari phishing, love scamming, lowongan kerja palsu, beasiswa palsu, penipuan berkedok kegiatan sosial, hingga penipuan investasi yang dikemas secara meyakinkan. Melihat fenomena rentannya Gen Z tersebut, maka sangat penting untuk dilakukan institusionalisasi pemahaman tentang bahaya penipuan online serta cara pencegahan yang efektif agar masuk ke dalam pola pikir, kesadaran dan perilaku sehingga menjadi kebiasaan dalam keseharian. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui program talk show dan literasi digital dengan tema: “Scam Alert! Cara Gen Z Lindungi Diri dari Penipuan Online”, yang dilaksanakan pada hari Jumat, 07 November 2025 dengan jumlah mahasiswa sekitar 52 mahasiswa PGSD Universitas Halim Sanusi. Pada kegiatan tersebut dihadirkan 2 nara sumber yaitu Diah Agung Esfandari dengan pemaparan materi: “Love Scam” dan Nur Atnan dengan pemaparan materi: “Modus Penipuan Daring yang Mengincar Gen Z- Peta Taktik dan Cara Menangkalnya”. Program ini memberikan pelatihan dan simulasi kasus nyata, bukan hanya teori, agar mahasiswa mengetahui langkah konkret yang harus dilakukan saat menghadapi potensi penipuan. Melalui acara yang dikemas secara semi-formal, mahasiswa diajak untuk mengetahui, menggali dan memahami betapa banyak korban kasus-kasus penipuan online serta diberikan pemaparan bahwa hal tersebut bisa terjadi kepada siapa saja dan kapan saja tanpa melihat latar belakang pendidikan ataupun status ekonomi. Mahasiswa juga secara langsung diajarkan dan dipandu untuk melakukan proteksi dengan mengaktifkan fitur-fitur proteksi pada telepon seluler masing-masing, serta pada berbagai akun media sosial maupun patform-platform digital berbasis internet lainnya. Kegiatan juga dilengkapi dengan kuis interaktif untuk mengukur pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap berbagai penipuan online. Dari hasil observasi kegiatan serta feecback yang diberikan mahasiswa, dapat diketahui bahwa pemahaman terhadap penipuan online serta upaya-upaya pencegahan yang dapat dilakukan sudah masuk ke dalam tahap pemahaman, dan diharapkan akan menjadi pola pikir dan kesadaran berkelanjutan sehingga terinstitusionalisasi ke dalam perilaku keseharian dimana mahasiswa akan terus waspada dan mampu mengenali jebakan digital yang mengancam keamanan data, finansial, bahkan masa depan mereka.
