Abstract

Abstract. Upgrades Writing Poetry with Type Cooperative Method Using Think Pair Share to the Seventh Grade Students of SMP Negeri 4 Bulukumba. This study aimed to describe the planning, implementation, and assessment of learning to write poetry using cooperative Think Pair Share (Think, in pairs, and Share) at class VII SMP Negeri 4 Bulukumba. This study includes qualitative descriptive study was designed through action research class (class room action research). The research was conducted in class VII SMP Negeri 4 Bulukumba. The research data is in the form of action response behavior of teachers and students in the learning interactions writing poems in class. Source of research data is the data of teachers and students of class VII SMP Negeri 4 Bulukumba by the number of students 27 people. The instruments used are observation, interview and test. This research data analysis technique is descriptive technique. The results of this study indicate that the acquisition value of students using cooperative strategies SMT type also increasing, with the average value of students in the first cycle was 75.22 increased in the second cycle into 82.85. Another indicator of the increase can be observed based on the learning outcomes of the first cycle and the second cycle to the changes, especially in changing attitudes and values of students in learning.

Abstract

The success of social doctrine and philosophy of life the Javanese, which is used to run entrepreneurs oh the land where they migrate that is, Polewali Mandar (land of Mandar) made researchers interested in the study the commercial concept (entrepreneurship) in addition is the predominantly tribal entrepeneurship profession Java became a symbol of success. Teachings social and life philosophy apply humanity, relationships in interactions include indigo patience, rila, nrima, perseverance, temen, and tepa slira and the trade ethic “Tuna Sathak Bathi Sanak”are adapted to everyday life in entrepeneurship for the same principles as Ngedulur (family/interaction ). This study aims to make allowances of the traditional trade concepts inherent in Java transmigration tribe and in the field of entrepeneurship.The method used is the qualitative method through the approach symbolic interaction with data gathering techniques through an ob interview, observation, and literature studies. The results of the research are, 1. Learning resources of the concept of trade of Javanese transmigration tribes in mandar land which are adapted to entrepeneurship which are very dynamic and relevant to the development of entrepenurship education. 2, The teachings of social values and the philosophy of life in Javanese trade are seen as appropriate in cultivating the true character of entrepreneurs and. 3, The Javanese who are successful in improving the economy and living in harmony in their transmigration places are seen as representative as role models in the environment of economic ectivity. Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to write descriptive texts by applying the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach. The type of research used in this study is Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII-3 SMP Negeri 24 Makassar totalling 36 people. The research instrument used in this study was a performance test. The research data were analysed using descriptive statistics. The results of the study found that the completeness of learning outcomes of Makassar culture-based writing that in cycle 1 with an average of 35% while cycle 2, experienced an increase with an average value to 83%. Based on this, it can be concluded that the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach is effectively used in improving the ability to write description text.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to enhance STEM learning in primary schools. Conducted via a systematic literature review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines, articles from 2020 to 2024 were analyzed using Scopus. The findings underscore the profound impact of ICT integration on bolstering STEM education in primary settings. Effective implementation requires tailored teacher training programs and a comprehensive understanding of primary education dynamics. Despite challenges, addressing the nuanced needs and perceptions within primary education is imperative for advancing the quality of STEM education. Consequently, providing teachers with requisite support, including targeted training initiatives and a nuanced grasp of primary education requirements, is vital for fortifying the efficacy of STEM education in the future. To conclude, fostering a synergy between STEM and ICT yields significant enhancements in primary school learning outcomes.

Abstract

In 21st-century education, writing skills in Indonesian language learning are no longer simply defined as the ability to construct words and sentences, but rather as a higher-order thinking process involving analysis, reflection, and in-depth interpretation of experiences and social contexts. The integration of a deep learning approach into writing instruction offers a new paradigm oriented toward students' understanding of meaning, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Through this literature review, researchers analyzed various recent research findings on the application of deep learning in the context of teaching Indonesian language writing in schools. The results of the review indicate that deep learning strategies can encourage students to understand the structure and meaning of texts more reflectively, develop original ideas, and build connections between personal experiences and socio-cultural contexts. Furthermore, teachers play a crucial role in creating a collaborative learning environment that stimulates students' critical thinking and creative expression. Deep learning-based writing instruction has also been shown to strengthen higher-order thinking skills and shift the learning paradigm from mere knowledge reproduction to meaning construction.

Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis merupakan salah satu keterampilan berbahasa yang kompleks karena menuntut kemampuan berpikir kritis, reflektif, dan kreatif. Namun, praktik pengajaran menulis di sekolah masih sering bersifat prosedural dan berorientasi pada hasil akhir, bukan pada proses berpikir mendalam yang menyertainya. Artikel ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi konsep deep learning dalam pengajaran menulis Bahasa Indonesia sebagai upaya meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan reflektif siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan menelaah berbagai penelitian terkini (2019–2025) yang relevan dengan topik pembelajaran menulis berbasis deep learning. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan deep learning dalam pengajaran menulis dapat memperkuat dimensi metakognitif siswa melalui strategi seperti project-based learning, refleksi diri, kolaborasi, dan penilaian autentik. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya menekankan penguasaan teknis menulis, tetapi juga menumbuhkan kesadaran terhadap proses berpikir, kemampuan mengaitkan ide, serta keberanian menyampaikan pandangan kritis secara logis dan sistematis. Implikasi praktis dari studi ini adalah perlunya guru Bahasa Indonesia untuk mendesain pembelajaran menulis yang menekankan eksplorasi ide, diskusi reflektif, serta integrasi teknologi digital sebagai media kolaboratif. Dengan demikian, integrasi deep learning dalam pembelajaran menulis menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk mengembangkan profil pelajar yang kritis, reflektif, dan adaptif terhadap tantangan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Writing instruction is a strategic tool for developing students' critical and creative thinking skills. However, writing instruction in schools remains largely procedural and emphasizes technical aspects of language, thus under-motivating students to think deeply. This article aims to systematically examine deep learning strategies in writing instruction and their contribution to the development of students' critical and creative thinking. The research employed a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data sources were national and international journal articles published between 2018 and 2025 and relevant to the topics of writing instruction, deep learning, and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). Data were collected through database searches such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Sinta, and then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The study's results indicate that deep learning strategies in writing instruction can improve critical thinking skills through reflection, discussion, and analysis prior to writing. Furthermore, this approach fosters student creativity by generating more original and diverse ideas. Writing instruction based on real-world contexts has also been shown to increase student engagement and motivation. The writing process serves as a vehicle for HOTS development, rather than simply language practice, and the teacher's role shifts to that of a thinking facilitator guiding students' exploration of ideas and reflection. Thus, the application of deep learning strategies in writing learning has great potential to create a learning process that is meaningful, contextual, and relevant to the demands of 21st-century education.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach that aims to describe the positive and negative language politeness strategies used by students when communicating with lecturers in TikTok content creator @dosentraveler. The data sources in this study are twenty-eight contents from TikTok creator @dosentraveler published in 2024 to 2025. The results of this study indicate that students use fifteen positive language politeness strategies from Brown and Levinson's theory, some of which are predominantly used, namely paying attention to the likes, desires, and needs of the interlocutor, showing speech that has the same perception as the interlocutor, showing the speaker's understanding of the interlocutor's desires, and giving gifts. Meanwhile, students also use ten negative language politeness strategies from Brown and Levinson's theory, some of which are predominantly used, namely minimizing coercion and giving respect.
