Abstract

 The purpose of the research was to study the content of chemistry of fly ash and the its potention of fly ash as the matterial of organic fertilizer. The research was conducted by mixing fly ash with some organic matterials  with comparison 1:9. The element content of organic fertilizer was compared to the quality  standard of organic fertilizer based on Government Regulation. The result of the research showed  that the adding of fly ash  could  increase the value of pH and it did not increase  some macro nutrients and the heavy metal content.

Abstract

Plant-livestock integration was one of the concepts of integrated agriculture. Agricultural waste had the potential to be developed as animal feed material, such as corn straw. The availability of waste, such as agricultural, livestock and biogas wil pollute the environment if it is not utilized. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving biogas waste on the protein content of corn straw, as a by-product of corn cultivation. The treatment in this study used two factors, namely (i) cow biogas solid waste consisting of 2 treatment levels, namely 0 and 5.4 tons/ha, and (ii) cow biogas liquid waste consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0 liter/ha. , 500 liters/ha, 1000 liters/ha and 1500 liters/ha. The data measured were nitrogen content, nitrogen absorption and protein content of corn straw. The results showed that the application of biogas waste was able to increase the protein content of corn straw.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance community knowledge and skills in making bamboo craft waste into biochar using retort drum technology. Bamboo biochar produced by using retort drum technology will be used to enhance the relatively low fertility of agricultural soil in Banjar Waru village. The way for carrying out community service activities involves introducing biochar and its manufacturing procedures, training in biochar production, and evaluating the longing program. The activity's results showed that participants were interested in and noticed the process of making bamboo waste into biochar. The effectiveness of this community service activity is that there is a program conducted in groups to produce bamboo charcoal and other agricultural waste.

Abstract

UMKM memiliki peranan terhadap ekonomi pangan di Indonesia. GMP berperan penting dalam keamanan dan kualitas produk pangan, oleh karena itu artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penerapan GMP telah dilakukan oleh UMKM Asah Asih terhadap produk sambal ikan tuna untuk memastikan produk tetap dalam keadaan aman dan berkualitas hingga tangan konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 teknik pengumpulan data yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Hasil dari penelitian ini berupa dokumen audit GMP dan penerapannya terhadap keamanan dan kualitas produk sambal ikan tuna yang mengacu pada peraturan BPOM No HK.03.1.23.04.12.2206 tahun 2012 tentang CPPOB dan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa aspek yang belum memenuhi sehingga perlu dilakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan kualitas produk.

Abstract

Implementation of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is an important factor in ensuring the quality of food processing products. This research was conducted to analyze how Good Manufacturing Practice is implemented in home industrial food processing. The research used observation or observation methods with direct surveys to MSMEs D'Nurin Eti Eggroll Cilacap. Data analysis activities implementing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) according to Good Panga Production Methods for Home Industries (CPPB-IRT). There are 4 aspects that are considered not in accordance with the GMP assessment instrument and 10 aspects that are considered to be in accordance with the GMP assessment instrument. To support the implementation of GMP, it is necessary to implement SSOP. From UMKM D'NURIN ETIEGGROLL there are several aspects that have not been met so that monitoring and evaluation is needed to ensure the quality of the products produced.

Abstract

The organic farming system has become the choice of most farmers in Indonesia because it has a major impact on agricultural quality and soil fertility. Vegetable farming in Magelang and Semarang Regencies is cultivated on andisol soil which has a relatively high soil fertility level, but farmers still use organic fertilizers to increase the organic matter content of the soil. The organic farming system applies 10 tons ha-1 of cow manure, 20 liters ha-1 of liquid fertilizer, and the return of plant residues at each planting season. The conventional farming system with high organic matter applies 7 tons ha-1 of cow manure, 50 kg ha-1 of urea, 50 kg ha-1 of NPK fertilizer, 15 liters ha-1 of liquid fertilizer, while the conventional farming system with low organic matter applies 3 tons ha-1 of chicken manure, 50 kg ha-1 of ZA fertilizer, 50 kg ha-1 of KCl fertilizer, and 50 kg ha-1 of NPK fertilizer. Observation variables include pH NaF, C-organic, N-total, C/N ratio, humic acid, fulvic acid and humification rate. Data were analyzed for variety and if different, the method of the smallest significant difference test was continued. The results of the study showed that the organic farming system was more effective in increasing carbon and nitrogen in the soil and accelerating humification, so that nutrients were available more quickly. However, the deeper the soil layer, the mineralization and humification processes will decrease because they are greatly influenced by the availability of organic matter.
