Abstract

Nafion is a type of perfluorosulfonic acid membranes, are widely used in fuel cell technology and exhibit several disadvantages such as expensive, have a limited working temperature range and high methanol crossover. This study aims to produce an electrolyte new polymer membrane from polyeugenol sulfonated (PET) and a review of the membrane properties was carried out on the basis of Water Contact Angle (°), Water Uptake (%), Methanol Uptake (%), Swelling ratio (%), IEC (ion exchange capacity). Analysis of DMFC membrane performance has an optimal proton conductivity of 0.0009 S.cm-1 and methanol permeability of 23.5.10-7 cm2.s-1 with a PET composition of 27% (w/w).

Abstract

 Mitra 1 (Purnama Advertising) is a printing business engaged in printing and graphic design, owned by Mr. Purnomo. Business location Purnama Advertising is very strategic close to the highway, due to many people skipped. Mitra 2 (Smart Jaya) owned by Mr. Hidayat handles a very simple print design. Smart Jaya business location is very strategic close to the school. The problems faced by Partners 1 and Partner 2 are constrained in the field of online marketing, due to the limited cost of the Partners. The purpose of the devotion activity is to develop an independent printing business and have a broad insight on print design and graphic design. The solutions offered from the devotion activities are providing printing machines and hot press machines, mentoring media marketing, production management and marketing training. The outcomes of the IbM program are scientific publications in ISSN Journals, national seminar publications, and online promotional media.

Abstract

In the millennial era 4.0, the growth of the home industry is growing more rapidly with the development of information technology, thus making needs increase and create new business opportunities. One of the new business opportunities is the krawu rice business. Krawu rice is a typical food from Gresik Regency. The krawu rice home industry is a partner of a community service activity named Nasi Krawu Buk Tiban. The problem that occurs in the community service partners is the marketing of krawu rice that is still around the Nasi Krawu Buk Tiban environment and marketing through the internet media. The method used is to provide training in the form of online media marketing and social media assistance. The result of community service activities can increase krawu rice revenue turnover, can operate and promote krawu rice marketing through online media and social media.

Abstract

SMK (Sekolah Menengan Kejuruan) merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang mendidik siswanya untuk siap bekerja di dunia kerja. Menurut Kemendikbud dalam modul grand design pengembangan teaching factory dan technopark di SMK, SMK adalah salah satu jalur pendidikan formal yang menyiapkan lulusannya untuk memiliki keunggulan di dunia kerja.. Tujuan pendidikan di SMK adalah membentuk lulusan yang siap memasuki dunia kerja, dipekerjakan, atau sebagai wiraswasta. Tuntutan Kemendikbud untuk program pendidikan SMK harus dapat menyiapkan sumber daya manusia yang siap memasuki dunia kerja, memiliki kepemimpinan tinggi, disiplin, professional, handal dibidangnya dan produktif. Untuk membantu siswa dalam memilih sekolah sesuai kriteria, maka dibuatlah sebuah sitem pendukung keputusan dalam memilih sekolah kejuruan yang mereka inginkan menggunakan metode FUZZY ANALITYCAL HIERARCY PROCESS(F-AHP). Metode ini merupakan gabungan metode AHP dengan pendekatan konsep Fuzzy. F-AHP menutupi kelemahan yang terdapat pada AHP,yaitu permasalahan terhadap kriteria yang memiliki sifat subjektif lebih banyak Untuk mengetahui hasil akurasi sistem, dilakukan uji coba sebanyak 20 kali pengujian terhadap sistem sehingga dapat di ketahui persentase keakuratan pada sistem ini sebesar 80 %

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya pemahaman pelajar pada materi Termokimia yang bersifat kompleks dan abstrak, sehingga dilakukan penelitian ini sebagai bentuk penerapan materi Termokimia secara nyata. Tujuan dari penelitian ini antara lain untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu terhadap penentuan kapasitas panas kalorimeter serta korelasi antara konsentrasi NaOH dengan panas pelarutan dan panas netralisasi yang dihasilkan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dilakukan penelitian eksperimental dengan melakukan tiga kali proses secara berturut-turut menggunakan alat kalorimeter sederhana dengan variabel yang berbeda pada setiap proses. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa nilai kapasitas panas kalorimeter yang dihasilkan sebesar -4692,7 J pada suhu akhir campuran 54°C. Nilai penentuan panas pelarutan terbesar yang dihasilkan sebesar -3865,214 dengan massa NaOH 1 gram, sedangkan nilai panas pelarutan terkecil yang dihasilkan sebesar -3914,694 J dengan massa NaOH 10 gram. Nilai penentuan panas netralisasi terbesar pada konsentrasi 2 M yaitu sebesar -4561,458 J, sedangkan nilai panas netralisasi terkecil yang dihasilkan pada konsentrasi 0,1 M yaitu sebesar -4691,877 J.Kata kunci: termokimia, kalorimeter, panas reaksi, panas pelarutan, panas netralisasi.

Abstract

Tofu liquid waste is a white liquid with a thick texture derived from unused tofu production. Tofu liquid waste contains nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and protein, which are easily fermentable. It will pollute the environment and cause a bad smell if it is directly thrown away without prior processing. Therefore, tofu liquid waste was processed into organic liquid fertilizer. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of fermentation time and sugar ratio on the levels of N, P, K The manufacture of liquid fertilizer involves a fermentation process by adding Yakult and EM-4 because both contain lactobacillus bacteria which can help the fermentation process. The sugar and coconut water were also added in a ratio of 1:0.075, 1:0.125, and 1:0.25. The process of liquid waste fermentation was carried out for 5 days, 10 days, 15 days, and 20 days. Fertilizers were tested using the Kjeldahl method for nitrogen (N) levels, spectrophotometry to determine phosphorus (P2O5) levels, and AAS (atomic absorption spectroscopy) for potassium (K2O) levels. The best levels of N, P, and K were produced from tofu waste with a fermentation process for 10 days by 0.662%, 1.133%, and 1.239%, respectively.

Abstract

A heat exchanger or commonly referred to as a heat exchanger is a tool that is commonly used in the industrial world. The function of this tool is to cool down a fluid. There are various types of heat exchangers, including shell and tube. The purpose of this research is to design a heat exchanger that is good and correct and has a fairly high effectiveness in accordance with the existing heat exchanger design rules. The object of this research is a heat exchanger with a size of OD in, 16 BWG with stainless steel material which has a counter current type which is used to cool the type of air at a temperature of 80°C to 60°C with the help of an air type fluid also at a temperature of 60°C. 30°C. The effectiveness of the tool is quite large, namely 88.7%.

Abstract

The liquid waste of the food industry has recently increased. Therefore, when it is discharged into the waters, it will cause turbidity and can damage the ecosystem inside. One of the wastewater treatment techniques is absorption using biosorbents, one of which is made from coconut fiber to reduce the color intensity of the liquid waste. The purpose of this study was to determine the effects of the coconut fiber biosorbent on the color intensity, COD, and pH of the liquid waste of the food industry. In this research, the coconut fiber was delignified with a 2 M NaOH solution and then activated with a 3 N solution. The research variables consisted of the weight percentages of biosorbent by 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5%, and the contact time of 30 and 60 minutes with shaker stirring. Meanwhile, the most optimum results in COD removal happened at the addition of 4% for 60 minutes, from the initial COD of 1179 mg/L O2 to 780 mg/L O2 within the removal of 26.5%. The highest pH removal of 6.98 occurred in the variable addition of 1% for 30 minutes, whereas the lowest pH removal of 6.5

Abstract

This study fabricated a novel sulfonated poly-eugenol/titanium dioxide nanocomposite membrane as an alternative polymer electrolite membrane (PEM) to direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs), addressing the high cost of PEM, a major challenge for fuel cell (FC) commercialization. Sulfonated poly-eugenol (S-PE), synthesized by polymerizing eugenol with sulfuric acid, incorporated sulfonic acid groups to improve proton flows conductivity. Titanium Dioxide nanoparticles were incorporated into the sulfonated polymer matrix, forming a mixed membrane nanocomposite. Scanning electron microscopy confirmed a homogeneous TiO2 distribution in the polymer. The membranes' physicochemical properties, including air absorption, swelling, and methanol absorption, were evaluated and compared to commercial Nafion. The S-PE and TiO2nanocomposite membrane with 25% (S-PE) and 5% TiO2 exhibited higher water and methanol absorption than Nafion, but lower proton conductivity. However, its low methanol permeability can potentially improve fuel efficiency in direct methanol fuel cells. Incorporating TiO2 into sulfonated poly-eugenol represents a promising strategy for developing low-cost, efficient PEM for DMFCs applications.

Abstract

The creative industry in Indonesia, particularly the home industry, is experiencing rapid growth due to the presence of various product innovations that cater to increasingly diverse market needs. The home fishing rod industry faces difficulties in expanding the market and increasing product sales. One of the main obstacles in expanding the audience is limited marketing and promotion. Therefore, digital marketing plays a crucial role in boosting sales and broadening the market reach. The purpose of this service is to help home industry players in custom fishing rods understand and implement digital marketing strategies through social media, creating optimized websites, and using digital advertising. The methods used in this service include needs analysis, training in the use of social media, website creation and optimization, and the use of digital advertising, such as Facebook Ads. The expected result is that home industry players in custom fishing rods can compete in the global market by using the right digital marketing.
