Abstract

The interaction of brown planthopper with its natural enemies can be represented in a predator-prey model. In this research, predator prey model influenced by insecticide is discussed. It is assumed that insecticide is applied at only one time when the population of brown planthopper is rised. The simulation results indicate that the brown planthopper population could be reduced significantly, but only in a moment. For a long periods of time, the brown planthopper population and their natural enemies will be oscillated and lead to the specified value. This means, the brown planthopper populations for long periods of time only depends on the mortality rate of predator and the level of interaction of the brown planthopper and predators.

Abstract

Limbah cair kelapa sawit atau dikenal dengan POME (palm oil mill effluent) dapat diproses menjadi biogas sebagai bahan bakar untuk pembangkit listrik. Produksi POME saat ini dapat digunakan untuk pembangkit listrik tenaga biogas (PLTBg) dengan kapasitas mencapai 153,4 MW yang sebagian besar berada di wilayah Sumatera. Salah satu pabrik kelapa sawit (PKS) yang berpotensi untuk pembangunan PLTBg adalah PKS Sei Pagar milik PTPN V Pekanbaru. Studi ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis keekonomian pembangunan PLTBg. PLTBg didesain dengan kapasitas 700 kW dengan menggunakan biodigester jenis continuous stirred tank reactor (CSTR). Listrik yang dihasilkan akan dijual ke PLN dengan harga jual sebesar 85% biaya pokok penyediaan (BPP) pembangkitan wilayah Riau sebesar 1.249,5 Rp/kWh. Hasil perhitungan keekonomian menunjukkan bahwa biaya investasi mencapai 26,3 milar Rupiah dengan skema 70% pinjaman dari bank dan sisanya 30% dengan modal sendiri (equity). Biaya opersi dan perawatan mencapai 2,3 miliar Rupiah setiap tahun. Pembangunan PLTBg layak untuk dilaksanakan dengan nilai IRR sebesar 11,44%, waktu pengembalian modal selama 7 tahun 11 bulan, dan NPV sebesar 1.1 miliar Rupiah.

Abstract

Hill Cipher is a symmetric cryptographic algorithm that can be used to encrypt and decrypt. Hill Cipher has several advantages including the key used to encrypt and decrypt is a square matrix of size n x n which has a multiplicative inverse because the inverse is the key used to decrypt. This study discusses the design of encryption and decryption program using with Java. The resulting program is capable of encrypting and decrypting with key 2 x 2, 3 x 3 , and 4 x 4.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki sifat-sifat operasi perkalian modular pada graf fuzzy yang diperkenalkan oleh Dogra [2]. Sifat yang diselidiki adalah perkalian modular pada graf fuzzy lengkap, graf fuzzy efektif dan graf fuzzy komplemen. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian teoritik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy lengkap bukan merupakan graf fuzzy lengkap, jika ke dua graf fuzzy efektif, maka perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy komplemennya sama dengan perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy efektif tersebut dan perkalian modular dari dua graf fuzzy G1 danG2  dengan G2  danG1 saling isomorfis.

Abstract

Cuaca merupakan salah satu aspek penting yang berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas manusia. Adanya perubahan cuaca yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor seperti suhu, kelembapan udara, kecepatan angin, arah angin, waktu, dan lokasi, menjadikan pentingnya untuk mengetahui kemungkinan cuaca yang akan terjadi guna menghindari dan mempersiapkan solusi dari dampak yang ditimbulkan. Kemungkinan cuaca yang akan terjadi dapat ditentukan dengan lebih akurat menggunakan metode klasifikasi cuaca yang baik. Pada penelitian ini metode klasifikasi yang digunakan adalah regresi logistik dan random forest. Peneliti membandingkan kedua metode tersebut menggunakan data cuaca di wilayah Jawa Tengah yang dibagi dalam tiga proporsi data latih yang berbeda, yaitu 60%, 70% dan 80%, dan evaluasi modelnya menggunakan nilai area under curve (AUC). Rata-rata AUC dari metode regresi logistik dan random forest berturut-turut adalah 0,6923 dan 0,7419. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kedua metode tersebut, nilai AUC tertinggi didapatkan dari hasil klasifikasi menggunakan metode random forest.Kata kunci: klasifikasi cuaca; regresi logistik; random forest; AUC

Abstract

Economic evaluation of rare diseases and orphan drugs has gained prominence among scientists, managers, and the general public. This challenging problem requires evaluation and analysis from a variety of perspectives. Economic assessment of technologies can support decision-making and resource allocation. The research objective describes and discusses several important issues when addressing economic evaluation in rare diseases and orphan drugs. The method used in this article review is to search the Pubmed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect databases using specific keywords for research articles published in English between 2016 and 2021. We found 537 studies that economically evaluated the cost of treating rare diseases. The selected studies met the eligibility criteria that had been established. To assess the quality of the selected papers, we used a 10-point checklist derived from Drummond's criteria for economic evaluation. Seven papers were reviewed from the initial 20 articles that met the eligibility criteria, and 537 records were initially found across the three databases. The quality of the selected papers ranged from 70% to 100% in meeting Drummond's 10-point checklist. The conclusion of this research is to consistently and continuously identify cost-effective and cost-saving solutions that may help achieve good clinical outcomes and reduce the burden of disease. Future research should focus on the clinical implementation of interventions along with accompanying economic evaluations.

Abstract

Abstract. Food security is urgently needed in 2050. Facing current conditions, the agricultural industry in Indonesia no longer appeals to the younger generation, and many farmers are elderly; the challenge of limited land, human resources, and falling farmer regeneration is a global one. This study investigates the desire of tertiary students in West Java, Indonesia, to pursue a profession in agriculture. The study's goal is to identify the elements influencing tertiary students' intentions to contribute or pursue a profession in agriculture, the correlation between those factors, and the things that may boost tertiary students' desire in continuing their career in agriculture. The study will look at the effects of a student's income, land availability and ownership, the student's parents' background in a specific demographic, and the influence of contemporary agricultural technology and data. Using quantitative research design and ordinal logistic regression analysis method, the study found that the father's education, willingness lives in the village, and the data-driven agriculture variable influenced tertiary students' interest in the agricultural industry.  Keywords:  Agricultural sector, food security, intention, technology usage, tertiary students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. In this paper, we predict the weight of Friesian-Holstein dairy cows by using Von Bertalanffy model. The metabolism rate in the model includes the anabolism and catabolism rate. The prediction is important to determine the age of the first cows mating since an improper age of the first mating will result in the low production of milk and a non ideal weight of the cow calves. The result of the simulation shows that the constant of anabolism is 0.3854, and the constant of catabolism is 0.0438. By using these constans, it is found that the result of the prediction has an average absolute error of 4,9708% (6,5358 kg). Furthermore, it is found that the cows can be mated when their weight is between 273,9152 kg and 303,2340 kg, that is when their age is between 59 and 66 weeks (or between 14 and 16 months).Keywords: Von Bertalanffy’s model, Friesian-Holstein dairy cow, anabolism and catabolism, age of mating, weight. ABSTRAK. Pada makalah ini dibahas mengenai prediksi berat tubuh sapi perah Friesian-Holstein menggunakan model Von Bertalanffy. Laju metabolisme pada model terdiri dari anabolisme dan katabolisme. Prediksi berat tubuh sapi perah ini penting karena dapat digunakan untuk menentukan usia kawin pertama kali sapi perah FH. Usia kawin pertama yang tidak tepat dapat menyebabkan produksi susu yang rendah dan tidak tercapainya berat tubuh pedet yang ideal. Dari hasil simulasi diperoleh konstanta anabolisme sebesar 0,3854 dan konstanta katabolisme sebesar 0,0438. Dengan konstanta tersebut, diperoleh rata-rata kesalahan absolut sebesar 4,9708% (6,5358 kg). Selanjutnya, diperoleh hasil bahwa sapi dapat dikawinkan pada saat memiliki berat tubuh 273,9152 kg sampai 303,2340 kg dengan umur 59-66 minggu (14-16 bulan).Kata Kunci: Model Von Bertalanffy, sapi perah Friesian-Holstein, anabolisme dan katabolisme, usia kawin, berat tubuh.

Abstract

Algoritma Hill Cipher merupakan salah satu algoritma kriptografi simetris yang dapat digunakan untuk mengenkripsi dan mendekripsi. Algoritma Hill Cipher merupakan salah satu dari algoritma kriptografi yang cukup baik karena menggunakan modulo dan operasi matriks. Penelitian ini membahas program enkripsi dan dekripsi menggunakan Algoritma Hill Cipher dengan bahasa pemrograman Java. Program yang dihasilkan mampu mengenkripsi dan mendekripsi dengan ordo kunci 2×2, 3×3, dan 4×4.Kata kunci: Hill Cipher, kriptografi, enkripsi, dekripsi.

Abstract

Human rights as citizens must be respected and guaranteed, one of which is political rights. The guarantee of human rights must be able to provide moral strength that is able to protect and guarantee human dignity based on the law, not on the basis of circumstances, wills, or certain political perspectives. Citizens' political rights are the right to take part in government and vote regularly on democratic mechanisms in a country, whether through election, regional head elections, or other elections. The political right is related to the right of citizens to play a role in efforts to make future arrangements for a state institution. At the moment the request for dissolution of political parties can only be done by the government. The dissolution of political parties in Indonesia is carried out by the Constitutional Court as one of the institutions of judicial power. The political rights of citizens should be made a priority in the dissolution mechanism of political parties. This research is a normative juridical study which outlines a comparison of the dissolution of political parties between Indonesia and Germany and Slovenia. In addition, the mechanism for future improvement is the dissolution of political parties to better guarantee the political rights of citizens.
