Abstract

Background. The Information System is a technology that can be utilized at the Al-Mujtahidin Mosque to assist the governance management process which is currently being managed manually. As a result, reporting is not transparent and can only be accessed by certain people. With this management information system, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of services at the mosque.. Purpose. The final aim of this research is to improve the quality of Al-Mujtahidin mosque services and provide a more holistic understanding to the congregation or community around the mosque. By gaining a more complete and integrated understanding of religion, science and technology, it is hoped that the congregation will be able to better integrate this knowledge into their daily lives. This will help the Jamaat use technology in the form of better applications, solve complex problems, and face modern challenges with a richer and deeper understanding. Method. In this empowerment, a statistical-based feature extraction method will be applied, namely searching for features characteristic of service conditions based on the level of the activity itself and will be adjusted to the level of service that will be provided to stakeholders. This method is largely determined by the conditions of activity at the Al-Mujtahidin Mosque.. Results. Application and development of information technology for Android-based Al-Mujtahidin mosque services and integration of technology on the internet network, making it easier for mosque congregations to obtain information services at the Al-Mujtahidin mosque. And currently it is still not running optimally and effectively, so there needs to be special guidance efforts for managers, so that mosque services based on the integration of science and technology can run more effectively. Conclusion. Science and technology cannot be separated in people's lives, including from an Islamic perspective. Mosque management information services are urgently needed. Therefore there is a need to utilize information technology in terms of services at mosques which can provide information services regarding mosque activities including, infaq services, sodakoh and information on other routine mosque activities. The application implemented is expected to be able to answer the needs of the current congregation, which is quite large in number. In general, the management will obtain the expected results or goals, because Currently, the Al-Mujtahidin Mosque must be ready for advances in the field. Technology and science are increasingly becoming a part of people's lives and are also able to compete in increasing numbers when compared with other mosques.

Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi (UM Jambi) merupakan perguruan tinggi baru yang masih menghadapi berbagai pembenahan, termasuk dalam hal presensi. Masalah presensi manual di UM Jambi masih menjadi perhatian karena rentan terhadap praktik kecurangan seperti titip absen. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, perlu diterapkan sistem informasi presensi yang efisien. Namun, sebelum implementasi, analisis kesiapan pengguna terhadap teknologi perlu dilakukan menggunakan Technology Readiness Index (TRI), yang meliputi variabel Optimism, Innovativeness, Discomfort, dan Insecurity. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian pengguna belum siap menerima teknologi baru, terutama karena tingkat ketidaknyamanan dan ketidakamanan yang masih rendah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perbaikan sistem dengan memperhatikan konsep UI/UX untuk meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna serta meningkatkan keamanan sistem presensi agar pengguna merasa lebih aman dan nyaman dalam menggunakannya

Abstract

Di era digital dan teknologi informasi yang terus berkembang pesat, melalui teknologi informasi pelaku usaha UMKM harus bisa mengimbangi perubahan zaman yang mana informasi dengan cepat dan mudah di akses, teknologi telah mengubah aturan dasar pemasaran di dunia yang tradisional menjadi digital marketing, ini menjadi peluang bagi pelaku UMKM untuk memasarkan produknya dengan memanfaatkan digital. Tujuan Pengabdian ini adalah untuk membantu pelaku UMKM yang merupakan Tenant Inkubator Bisnis Teknologi (IBT) LPPM UM Jambi. Metode yangdigunakan adalah (1) memberikan pelatihan pemanfaatan teknologi canva dalam membuat desain logo dan kemasan, (2) memberkian pelatihan memanfaatkan teknologi dalam memasarkan produk ke media social, (3) pendampingan kepada mitra untuk memperoleh hasil yang di peroleh dari kegiatan pengabdian (1) mengetahui pemanfaatan teknologi dalam membantuk mendesain logo dan kemasan produk, (2) mengetahui pemanfaatan teknologi dalam memasarkan produk di media social dengan baik.

Abstract

At the Bappeda Office (Regional Development Planning Agency) Jambi City has 75 ASN (State Civil Apparatus) employees. So far, in the process of processing employee data, it is still in the conventional way with Microsoft Excel office applications and the data is not yet centralized, it is still scattered in each field, to obtain information or edit employee data, especially the focus of this research is on rank data information which is constantly available. changes, to obtain this information, it must take 2 to 3 days because they have to collect data from their respective fields, then the data is submitted to the Head of the Sub-Division of Personnel and Households, this makes the author think of creating an information system that is realtime and efficient in order to facilitate the performance of a Head of Sub-Division of Personnel and Household. System design is done by using DFD and ERD to model data and processes. With this system, it is hoped that it will make it easier for all ASN employees within the Jambi City Bappeda and related and interested agencies who have access to get the latest information.

Abstract

According to data recorded at the end of the even semester of the 2019/2020 academic year, Al-Falah Jambi Islamic High School currently has 403 active students, 39 permanent foundation teachers, and 7 foundation contract teachers. With the increasing number of active students, which can be seen from the number of students at the beginning of its establishment, which amounted to 85 students, the services that must be provided and the academic atmosphere must remain conducive and maintained. Therefore, an information system strategic plan is needed that supports the school's business strategy and is aligned with the school's vision, mission, and goals to be able to advance Al-Falah Jambi Islamic High School and increase competitive advantage with other private SMA/SMK or with public SMA/SMK existing or future. The data collection technique that the writer used in this study was by means of interviews, observation, literature study, and documentation. The analytical methods used include the Value Chain Analysis, PEST Analysis, Porter's Five Forces, SWOT Analysis, Balanced Scorecard Analysis, the Critical Success Factor (CSF) Analysis, Gap Analysis, and McFarlan Strategic Grid Analysis. The targeted output of this research is to produce recommendations for an IS/IT strategic plan aimed at all parties, both the Principals, TU Heads, and ICT divisions, and can obtain future information system proposals and be mapped in development plans within a five-year period and mapped based on user units, namely HR, leadership, corporate secretary, treasurer, curriculum, inventory, and ICT, so that Al-Falah Jambi Islamic High School can increase competitive advantage with other private SMA/SMK or with existing or future public SMA/SMK

Abstract

There are problems that still exist in online learning including limited-reach networks, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and others. This study discussed the analysis of sentiment which used the Na ve Bayes Classifier (NBC) method with XGBoost feature selection as a performance improvement that took data from news portals. The results of this study showed that graph data on the application of online learning forms in Indonesia had a "Negative" opinion. Performance testing of the NBC method based on XGBoost feature selection was conducted four times. The first experiment resulted in an accuracy value of 60.18% with 50/50 split data. The next experiment had an accuracy value of 56.92% with 70/30 split data. After that, the third experiment resulted in an accuracy value of 65.90% with 80/20 split data. The result of the last experiment was an accuracy value of 63.63% with 90/10 split data. After using XGBoost feature selection, it produced an accuracy of 60.18%, 67.69%, 70.45%, and 77.27%. The study also produced the highest average score at 10-Fold Cross-Validation in the second trial with a score of 65.62%.

Abstract

The development of a comprehensive and efficient library catalogue system is essential for improving accessibility to information in modern educational environments. This research addresses the inefficiencies of manual cataloguing methods at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jambi’s library by proposing an Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)-based E- catalogue system. The system, developed using Visual Basic and Microsoft Access, streamlines the book-searching process, enhancing user access to book details such as authors, titles, and synopses. The system’s user-friendly interface supports features like search, administration, and data backup, improving both search efficiency and user satisfaction. This research contributes to the advancement of library management systems, demonstrating the potential of OOP-based design for future applications in similar academic institutions. Future research can build on this work by integrating machine learning techniques for personalized book recommendations and expanding the system's scalability.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi berbasis komputer mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektifitas kinerja. Secara praktis, ini terjadi apabila system dirancang dengan sempurna bagi pengguna users yang memiliki pemahaman pengertian manajerial dan organisasi, dengan tujuan peningkatan efektivitas penggunaan. Masadepan adalah sekarang, saat ini perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komputer sangat cepat sehingga perkembangannya menuntut kemampuan users dapat beradaptasi dalam perubahan tersebut, maka dari itu topik ini dirasa penting mengingat trend teknologi dan transformasi digital, dalam hal ini sebagai mitra adalah Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Daerah Kota Jambi atau yang disingkat BAPPEDA Kota Jambi terus berupaya meningkatkan kemampuan SDM terutama pada bidang teknologi informasi. Pemanfaatan platform Google sebagai alat pendukung dalam meningkatkan kinerja perkantoran BAPPEDA Kota Jambi. Pembahasan mendalam tentang bagaimana Google Form, dan aplikasi lainnya dapat dioptimalkan untuk memperbaiki efisiensi, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi mengumpulkan data internal di lembaga pemerintahan tersebut. Melalui analisis implementasi teknologi informasi berbasis Google, diharapkan memberikan manfaat positif yang diperoleh oleh BAPPEDA dalam konteks penyimpanan data, pengelolaan dokumen, serta koordinasi dan kerjasama antarunit kerja. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman praktis penggunaan teknologi Google dalam konteks administrasi perkantoran di sektor pemerintahan. Artikel ini dapat menjadi panduan bagi lembaga serupa yang sedang mempertimbangkan atau sedang melaksanakan transformasi digital menggunakan platform Google.
