Abstract

Abstract

Perlakuan diberikan selama 21 hari.

Abstract

Pregnant women in Indonesia on average experience severe labor pain by 85-90%. Pain in the first stage can be influenced by physiological factors (stretching of the cervical muscles, uterine contractions, lowering of the head, and opening of the lower uterine segment) and psychological factors (stress, worry and fear). Acupressure is one way of providing stimulation by pressing certain points with the principles of acupuncture. Acupressure has many benefits such as increasing stamina, improving blood circulation, reducing stress and reducing pain. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review research method to identify and analyze 15 international journals obtained through the Pubmed, Cochrane and Science Direct databases. The results obtained are that acupressure helps mothers relax more in dealing with labor pains in stage 1. Acupressure can stimulate endorphins and increase blood circulation thereby increasing oxygen supply and can activate small nerves to block pain impulses to the brain. Acupressure can reduce pain in the first stage of labor.

Abstract

The growth and development of toddlers is something that needs great attention. This is because toddlerhood is a period of very rapid and critical growth, usually known as the golden age. There is potential for growth and development disorders in infants and toddlers due to a lack of balanced nutritional intake and knowledge about growth and development stimulation. PMT is one strategy for overcoming nutritional problems. Posyandu cadres as part of the posyandu driving team have a very important role in conveying the right information to mothers about PMT. Appropriate PMT can influence the nutritional status of toddlers. The aim of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of posyandu cadres regarding proper feeding of babies and children with local ingredients. The methods used include education and practice in making baby and children's food using local ingredients. The results obtained by the cadres were an increase in knowledge after being given counseling which was shown by an increase in post test scores. The next activity is the practice of making baby and child food such as moringa nuggets, moringa vegetables, moringa pudding, dragon fruit pudding and so on. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis so that knowledge about feeding babies and children can be well disseminated to the community.

Abstract

HIV/AIDS remains a major global and national health issue. In Indonesia, only around 70% of People Living with HIV are aware of their health status, which is still below the elimination target stated in the National Action Plan (RAN) for HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control 2020–2024. HIV testing for prospective brides and grooms is part of premarital health screening aimed at preventing HIV transmission and ensuring a healthy future generation. However, the interest of prospective couples in undergoing HIV testing is still low. The purpose of the study: To determine the effect of counseling using a combination of lecture and video on the interest of prospective brides and grooms in undergoing HIV testing. Research Methods: This quantitative research applied a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total sampling technique was used, involving 32 prospective couples registered at Puskesmas Cangkringan. The research instrument was an interest questionnaire consisting of 27 validated and reliable statements. The educational media used was an 11-minute and 30-second video about HIV testing for prospective couples. Research Results: Before counseling, interest levels were categorized as low (28.2%), moderate (59.3%), and high (12.5%). After counseling, low and moderate interests decreased to 6.3% and 31.2%, respectively, while high interest increased to 62.5%. The average interest score increased from 83.53 to 105.78. Paired Sample T-Test analysis showed a p-value of 0.01 (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Health education using a combination of lecture and video methods is effective in increasing the interest of prospective couples in undergoing HIV testing at Puskesmas Cangkringan.

Abstract

Ensuring a healthy pregnancy is an important responsibility for couples in maintaining the health of future children. Data from the 2023 Indonesian Health Survey shows that pregnancy risk factors among women aged 10–54 years in Central Java reached 27.8%, which is higher than the national average of 15.6%. Knowledge about pregnancy preparation—such as adequate nutritional intake, medical consultations, and pregnancy planning—is essential for reducing these risks. Education and age are considered important factors that may influence the level of knowledge among reproductive-age couples. This study aimed to determine the relationship between education level and age with the knowledge of reproductive-age couples (PUS) regarding pregnancy preparation in Tuksongo Village, Borobudur. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 66 couples of reproductive age (132 respondents) selected using total sampling in Tuksongo Village, Borobudur. Data were collected using a true–false questionnaire containing 26 statements that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using Fisher’s Exact test. The majority of respondents had secondary education (53% of males and 56.1% of females) and were aged 20–25 years (66.7% of males and 87.9% of females). Most respondents demonstrated good knowledge regarding pregnancy preparation (84.8% of males and 89.4% of females). The analysis showed a significant relationship between education level and knowledge of pregnancy preparation among reproductive-age couples (p = 0.002; p < 0.05). However, age was not significantly associated with knowledge (p = 0.537; p > 0.05). Education is significantly associated with knowledge regarding pregnancy preparation among reproductive-age couples, while age does not show a significant relationship. Strengthening educational exposure may improve awareness and knowledge related to healthy pregnancy preparation.
