Pompa sentrifugal adalah satu jenis pompa yang sering digunakan untuk memindahkan air secara aliran paksa dengan kecepatan tinggi oleh impeler. Analisa tekanan dan efisiensi pada pompa air sentrifugal dengan rangkaian seri bertujuan untuk mengetahui tinggi tekanan pompa. Hasil dari pengujian tekanan pompa menggunakan media air pada rangkaian seri dengan putaran yang berbeda dapat diperoleh data head tertinggi sebagai berikut: head 3,14m dengan efisiensi 1,69%.

The background of this study is the lack of mathematical communication skills (MCS) of junior high school students in Cimahi. This study aims to examine the achievement and improvement of MCS of junior high school students in Cimahi by realistic mathematical approaches. This study involved two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. All groups were given a pretest and posttest. The experimental group obtained mathematics learning with realistic mathematical approaches as treatment and control groups obtained mathematics learning as usual as a treatment. This research method is an experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design, namely the design of the pretest posttest control group that involves two groups and randomly sampled classes. The population in this study were junior high school students in Cimahi, while the sample consisted of two randomly selected classes. Obtained class VIII M (experimental class) and class VIII K control class. The instrument used was a 5-item MCS description test, then the skills scores MCS students' were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using assistance Minitab 17. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the achievement and improvement of students' MCS using mathematical realistic approaches were better than students who used ordinary learning.

Sebagai sebuah negara hukum yang demokratis, Indonesia memiliki pengaturan mengenai pemilihan kepala daerah yang menjunjung tinggi kedaulatan rakyat melalui pemilihan umum. Pemilihan kepala daerah yang dilakukan secara langsung seperti hari ini berasal dari proses panjang pada amandemen dari Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. Semangat reformasi yang mengusung konsep demokratisasi di segala lini menjadi landasan sosiologis terbentuknya ketentuan dalam amandemen Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 yang memberikan ruang bagi pelaksanaan pemilihan kepala daerah secara langsung. Dalam rangka mengkaji hal tersebut secara lebih mendalam pada ketentuan peraturan perundang-undangan yang ada dan konsep negara hukum yang demokratis, penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif yang mengkaji peraturan perundang-undangan dan teori-teori yang ada dalam buku maupun artikel ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan tema Pemilihan Kepala Daerah. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan, ditemukan fakta bahwa pengaturan Pemilihan Kepala Daerah yang dilakukan secara langsung sudah sesuai dengan semangat dari negara hukum yang demokratis karena menekankan pada partisipasi masyarakat untuk memilih pemimpinnya.

This research is motivated by the crucial role of school principals in school management and the enhancement of education quality, particularly within the framework of School-Based Management (SBM). The significance of this study is underscored by the substantial impact of education on a nation's development and the pivotal role played by school principals in achieving optimal educational quality. The primary objective of this research is to explore the involvement of school principals in implementing SBM at SMA Negeri 1 Sukaraja, Sukabumi Regency, and assess the impact of their leadership on educational quality improvement. The theoretical foundation of this study rests on the concepts of School-Based Management (SBM) and the theory of school principal leadership. Employing a qualitative approach with a single case study design, the research seeks to provide insights into the successful implementation of the SBM approach by the headmaster of SMA Negeri 1 Sukaraja. This implementation involves active participation from parents, teachers, students, and the local community in the decision-making process, reflecting a more democratic and inclusive management style in school administration. Despite the evident success, the study also uncovers challenges faced in this implementation, including resistance to change and constraints in resources.

Axial pumps are one type of pump that is widely used for industrial purposes to move fluids from low places to higher places with large capacities. The axial pump has very complicated components so it has a very expensive price. This study aims to design and build an axial flow pump with a 5-inch PVC pipe casing driven by an electric motor. The design process begins with the determination of pump specifications including the capacity of the fluid you want to flow and the height of the fluid you want to move, then proceed with calculations including the capacity of the electric motor, shaft, and bearings, then proceed with the process of making components according to the calculations that have been done and the final stage is the process assembly and testing. The result of the calculation is that for an axial pump specification with a maximum head of 0.5 m, a pipe diameter of 0.14 m, and a maximum capacity of fluid that can flow 0.02 m3/s, a ½ Hp motor is required with a drive shaft diameter of 10 mm. The test results show that the pump can operate properly, the water capacity that can be moved is 0.0138 m3/s for the variation in the number of blades 2 and 0.0161 m3/s for the variation in the number of blades 3. So the efficiency for the variation in the number of blades 2 is 46.54% and for blade 3 is 54.53%

This research aims to improve the performance of the Savonius type L wind turbine by varying the overlap distance on the turbine blades. The L type Savonius turbine with two blades is used as a model, with a turbine height of 800 mm and a rotor diameter of 350 mm. The variations in overlap distance used are 20 mm, 30 mm, and 40 mm. The research was conducted at the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Islamic University of Kalimantan. Research data was obtained through direct testing in the field, by measuring the turbine rotation speed and the resulting load. The research results show that the overlap distance has a significant influence on turbine performance. The power coefficient (CoP), torque coefficient (Cm), and static torque coefficient (CTs) values reach their highest point at an overlap distance of 30 mm. However, when the overlap distance exceeds the optimum point, these values tend to decrease. The optimum point is reached at a turbine rotor angle of 90 degrees.

This research aims to design an open circuit wind tunnel with a piv (particle image velocimetry) system. This particle image velocimetry system was chosen because this system has the advantage of being easy to make and the equipment used is not too complicated. The method used in this design is a mathematical calculation method with. This tunnel is designed to have dimensions of 8 meters long, 1.75 meters wide and 1.75 meters high. With a maximum planned wind speed of 30 m/s. The design results state that the head loss in the test section is 1.28 m, in the contraction chamber is 0.52 m and the head loss in the diffuser is 0.49 m so the total head is 2.29 m so a pump power of 11.94 hp is needed to be able to simulate a maximum wind flow of 30 m. /s

This research aims to investigate the effect of spoiler usage on box trucks on the coefficient of drag. A high coefficient of drag on box trucks can result in inefficient fuel consumption and higher exhaust gas emissions. Spoilers are installed on the top of the box truck to help streamline airflow and reduce air pressure above the vehicle, thereby reducing air resistance and improving vehicle performance. Although spoilers on box trucks have been used in the logistics and transportation industry, their effect on the coefficient of drag has not been extensively studied. Therefore, this research is expected to provide information to optimize vehicle performance and reduce the negative impact of vehicles on the environment.

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan aplikasi CAD kepada pelajar teknik Otomotif di SMKN-2 Kapuas Murung. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode ceramah: Memberikan informasi umum mengenai dasar-dasar penggunaan AutoCad sebelum praktek langsung di komputer. Metode Demonstrasi dan Praktek secara langsung: Pemateri mendemonstrasikan perancangan dan pembuatan desain grafis menggunakan AutoCad, kemudian peserta berlatih membuat desain 2D dan 3D dengan fasilitas komputer dan bimbingan dari pemateri dan metode Bimbingan: Tim dari Program Studi Teknik Mesin memberikan pelayanan bimbingan kepada peserta selama pelatihan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini bahwa pelatihan AutoCAD berjalan dengan baik dan lancar. Peserta pelatihan dibekali dengan materi dasar AutoCAD, termasuk pengenalan fungsi-fungsi dan tombol-tombol keyboard, sistem koordinat, dan toolbar AutoCAD. Melalui tahapan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, praktek langsung, dan bimbingan, peserta dapat memahami dan mempraktikkan penggunaan AutoCAD untuk merancang komponen kendaraan secara efektif.

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memaksimalkan potensi energi terbarukan melalui pelatihan dan perawatan modul surya bagi masyarakat Desa Kali Besar, Kecamatan Kurau, Kabupaten Tanah Laut. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam hal pemanfaatan dan perawatan modul surya sebagai sumber energi terbarukan. Metode pelaksanaan yang diberikan adalah memberikan pelatihan dan perawatan modul surya yang sesuai dan baik bagi Masyarakat desa Kali Besar. Prioritas solusi dalam pelatihan ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang potensi energi terbarukan, serta memberikan keterampilan bagi masyarakat dalam perawatan modul surya. Khalayak sasaran dari pelatihan ini adalah masyarakat Desa Kali Besar, Kecamatan Kurau, Kabupaten Tanah Laut yang membutuhkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan tentang pemanfaatan dan perawatan modul surya.Melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu memaksimalkan potensi energi terbarukan di Desa Kali Besar, Kecamatan Kurau, Kabupaten Tanah Laut dan membantu memenuhi kebutuhan energi bagi masyarakat setempat. Sambutan Mitra dan masyarakat cukup baik sangat membantu kelancaran pelaksanaan pengabdian. Masyarakat yang mengikuti pelatihan sangat antusias, yang digambarkan dengan pemahaman mereka yang tadinya hanya sekitar 30% menjadi 100%.
