Abstract

The research has been conducted to determine the effect of heavy metals on coal, where the coal comes from three different places in Indonesia. The collection and testing of samples was conducted by PT Sucofindo Padang branch. From the sample tested, the combustion energy is 6562 Kkal / Kg, 6331 Kkal / Kg and 6375 Kkal / Kg, for coal with initials A, B and C. Heavy metal testing is done using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (SSA). From the test, the biggest metal concentration is metal potassium (K) followed by other metal. From the data it can be seen that Iron (Fe), Mangan (Mn), Lead (Pb) and Potassium (K) if the concentration is large, the combustion energy is small. While the two metals of Magnesium (Mg) and Calcium (K) have no effect at all. In Aluminum (Al) and Copper (Cu) metals if the concentration is large the energy is also large.

Abstract

Penerapan pembelajaran PBL berperan penting dalam peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik, dengan adanya pembelajaran PBL maka peserta didik dapat berfikir kritis dan bisa mengembangkan pengetahuan baru. Pembelajaran PBL menuntut peserta didik untuk mampu memecahkan masalah mengenai materi yang diajarkan oleh guru. Peneliti menerapkan model PBL pada pembelajaran untuk mengetahui rancangan dan pengaruh hasil belajar peserta didik dikelas X SMKN 5 Telkom Banda Aceh. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan menggunakan eksperimen jenis pre eksperiment berupa metode one-group pretest-posttest design. Subjek yang diambil hanya satu kelas yaitu siswa kelas X berjumlah 28 siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data uji t pada hasil pretest dan posttest, maka diperoleh   = 1,70 sedangkan  dengan jumlah nilai 5,15, hal tersebut membuktikan (5,15 > 1,70) yang artinya  diterima sedangkan  ditolak. Sehingga dengan adanya penerapan PBL pada proses pembelajaran, maka terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar terhadap peserta didik.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan pengujian pada semikonduktor kapasitor metal oksida(MOS) dengan bahan oksida Strontium Titanat (SrTiO3) yang disintesis menggunakan metode chemical bath deposition (CBD) dengan substrat silicon kristal. Oksida strontium titanat adalah oksida yang memiliki nilai dielektrisitas yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa deposisi lapisan oksida berada pada ketebalan 200 nm, dan didapatkan kapasitansi terbesar 304 pF pada oksida dengan ketebalan 33,34 nm dan luas substrat 0,7 cm2 Keyword : Capacitance, Metal Oxide Semiconductor (MOS), Strontium Titanat (SrTiO3), Dielectric Constanta.

Abstract

Dari hasil observasi awal peserta didik dalam bidang teknik audio vidio pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim masih terdapat kekurang pada penggunaan media pembelajaran dan masih rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik yang belum mencapai kriteria (KKM ). Penelitian   inidilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran Mind Map dikelas X Teknik audio vidio SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim. Penerapan media pembelajaranMind Map adalah sebagai proses memetakan pikiran untuk menghubungkan konsep-konsep permasalahan   tertentu dan hasilnya dituangkan langsung   diatas kertas dengan animasi yang disukai dan gampang dimengerti oleh pembuatnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini  adalah metode kuantitatif dengan Quasi-Eksperimen yang merupakan eksperimen semu untuk mengetahui  ada tidaknya akibat dari suatu perlakuan yang dikenakan pada subjek didik.Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh peserta didik di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim dengan jumlah 396 peserta didik, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan seluruh peserta didik di kelas X teknik audio vidio di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim sebanyak 17 orang. Pengumpulan data mengguankan pretes, perlakuan dan postest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa   hasil balajar peserta didik sebelum menggunakan media pembelajaran mind map dengan nilai rata-rata yaitu 29.11 dan setalah diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran nilai rata-rata nya meningkat sebesar 66.47. Analisis  hasil  belajar    diperoleh  thitung>ttabel   (7.33>2.110)  sehingga  H0   ditolak  dan  Ha   diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulakan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran Mind Map pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika di SMKN 1 Simpang Ulim berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Based on preliminary observations in the field, from the data, showed that the learning process carried out in class X SMKN 2 Banda Aceh was in accordance with the 2013 curriculum. However, in the learning process there were obstacles namely students' unpreparedness towards the material to be studied. This is caused by the teacher who concerned using the lecture method. As a result, interaction between students and teachers and between students and other students is very less. This is because communication between students and teachers is only one direction, the lack of attention, motivation of students. With the development of science and technology today, the influence of the use of eagle software is expected to improve student learning outcomes. Thus, the formulation of the problems in this study are: 1) How is the effect of using eagle software, in improving student learning outcomes in class X on technical drawing subjects at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh, 2) How are students learning interest with eagle software, on subjects drawing techniques at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh. This research is kind of a classroom action research using quantitative methods. Data was collected through observation and tests. The object of this research is class X students majoring in audio video electronics engineering at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh, totaling 25 students. This research was conducted in two stages. In the first cycle the percentage of observations of student learning activities by 57%, in the second cycle increased to 13% with a percentage value of 70%. This shows that the activeness of student learning in drawing techniques using the use of eagle software has increased in each cycle. Application of the use of eagle software can increase student interest in learning with a percentage of positive responses by 96%, while students with a percentage of negative responses by 4%. The results of the study prove that there is an increase in students' understanding in participating in learning to draw techniques with the use of eagle software.

Abstract

The problem that occurs at SMKN 2 Sigli is the learning process that has not used learning media in the form of application software, one of which is Matlab Simulink which can later simplify and increase the motivation of students in the classroom. This study aims to determine whether the introduction of the Matlab Simulink application can increase the learning motivation of students in class XI at SMKN 2 Sigli and to determine the response of students after the introduction of the Matlab Simulink application in class XI at SMK 2 Sigli. This type of research uses an experimental model with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students at SMK N 2 Sigli as many as 751 people. The sample in this study is class XI students, totaling 17 people, sampling using purposive sampling method. This research instrument includes observation and questionnaires. The results of observing the activeness of students using the Matlab Simulink application increased according to the criteria for the percentage of 92.85% (highly motivated). The results of the motivation of students as many as 52.54% who chose very well were included in the moderately motivated category and gave a positive response to the use of the Matlab Simulink application for class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sigli.

Abstract

The air existence on the surface of the earth is one of the important factors for the survival of living things on it. Indonesia’s quality of ambient air has decreased and it is categorized as not good for sensitive groups. The biggest cause of air pollution comes from motor vehicles, of which 85% is from combustion in motorized vehicle engines. Trembesi is the most effective plant in adsorbing pollutant carbon in the air. Activated charcoal is the carbon that has better absorption of cations, anions and the molecules of organic and inorganic compounds. This study aims to create a pollutant filter equipment for CO and CO2 made from Trembesi leaves activated charcoal. This research was conducted by creating an air pollutant filter with 3 different types of adsorbent, namely adsorbent made from paper pulp, trembesi leaves extract adsorbent, and trembesi leaves activated charcoal adsorbent. The data collection used 2 types of vehicles with different year of release and engines. The measurement of pollutant concentration using a Gas Analyzer instrument tester with Korean Iyasaka AET-4000Q type. The result of this study showed that the best adsorbent is activated charcoal from trembesi leaves with 100% adsorption of CO and 36,29% adsorption of CO2 using 2018 Toyota Agya car Dual VVT-I engines with eco indicator technology, and for 1988 SE 1,3 Starlet car with a carburetor type engine successfully adsorb CO by 9,65% and 7,2% for CO2.

Abstract

Stasiun Pengisian Bahan Bakar Umum (SPBU) merupakan suatu tempat bagi masyarakat untuk mengisi bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor. Kegiatan di sekitar jalan raya tidaklah lepas dari kehadiran alat transportasi seperti kendaraan bermotor. Kepemilikan dari kendaraan bermotor semakin meningkat setiap harinya baik itu milik pribadi ataupun kendaraan umum sehingga menimbulkan kebisingan pada daerah tersebut. Kebisingan merupakan suatu bunyi atau suara yang tidak diharapkan dari suatu usaha maupun suatu aktivitas dengan rentang waktu pemaparan yang tertentu sehingga dapat menyebabkan berbagai gangguan pada kesehatan tubuh manusia serta terganggunya kenyamanan akan lingkungan hidup. Oleh karena itu kebisingan perlu direduksi atau dimitigasi dampaknya. Salah satu Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk mengurangi tingkat kebisingan yaitu menggunakan Metode MEAD. Metode ini berkaitan dengan menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan mendesain sistem kerja dalam organisasi sehingga dapat menjadi lebih efektif serta efisien. Dari hasil penelitian di SPBU Lingke Banda Aceh didapati bahwa persebaran tingkat intensitas kebisingan yang diuji pada titik 1 hingga 7 diperoleh dengan rata-rata masih dibawah 85 dBA. Menurut Keputusan Mentri Lingkungan Hidup No.40 tahun 2017, kebisingan dibawah 85 dBA ini masih berada di bawah ambang baku mutu.

Abstract

The Explicit Instruction learning model is a learning model that positions the teacher as a facilitator and organizer in the learning process. This research aims to see the effect of the explicit instruction learning model in improving student learning outcomes in the Basic Passive Electronic Components subject. This research uses a quantitative type method with an experimental approach (one group pretest-posttest design) using pre-test and post-test question sheet instruments. The research subjects consisted of 25 students of class X Electronics Engineering at SMKN 2 Banda Aceh. The research results showed that the application of the explicit instruction learning model had an effect on the learning outcomes of students at SMK N 2 Banda Aceh as evidenced by the post-test results which increased by 44 points. This shows a positive change in student learning outcomes. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the application of the explicit instruction learning model has an effect and can improve student learning outcomes at SMK N 2 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

West Java has many batik motifs that must to be preserved and introduced for the millennial generation. So far, the millennial generation has been considered more interested with Western fashion but many of them are also starting to be interested toward batik fashion actually. This research aims to develop alternatives design of the Singabarong batik motif into flat design style for the millennial target market. This research method uses a qualitative approach and design creation through three stages that are exploration, design and embodiment. This research resulted three developments of the Singabarong batik motif in flat design style that are the Singabarong Raja motif, the Singabarong Resi motif and the Singabarong Rama motif. The results of this study are expected to add insight and increase the interest of public especially millennials about the Singabarong batik motif preservation. Keywords: Singabarong motif, flat design, millenial generation. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jawa Barat memiliki banyak motif batik yang perlu dilestarikan dan diperkenalkan kepada generasi milenial. Selama ini, generasi milenial dianggap lebih tertarik pada fesyen Barat, nyatanya banyak juga yang mulai tertarik pada fesyen berbahan batik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan desain alternatif motif batik Singabarong bergaya flat design untuk target pasar kaum milenial. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif serta penciptaan desain melalui tahap eksplorasi, perancangan dan perwujudan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga pengembangan desain motif batik singabarong bergaya flat design yaitu motif singabarong Raja, motif singabarong Resi dan motif singabarong Rama. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menambah wawasan dan meningkatkan minat masyarakat khususnya kaum milenial terhadap kelestarian batik keraton motif Singabarong. Kata Kunci: motif Singabarong, flat design, generasi millenial.
