Abstract

Berlakunya Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Nomor: 2/PERMEN-KP/2015yang di dalamnya memuat larangan penggunaan alat tangkap cantrang dan sejenisnyamerupakan angin segar demi terselamatkannya terumbu karang sebagai rumah biota laut danekosistem laut. Di sisi lain, timbul keresahan pada nelayan karena harus mulai berpikir untukmengganti alat cantrang tersebut dengan alat lain.“Alat Tangkap Ikan Ramah Lingkungan Sebagai Solusi Pengganti Alat TangkapCantrang” diciptakan sebagai salah satu solusi alat tangkap ikan yang merusak lingkungan.Manfaat dari alat ini adalah dapat meningkatkan hasil tangkapan dan ikut melestarikan habitatbiota laut.Terdapat dua jenis model dalam alat tangkap ikan ini, antara lain Model Jenis Kelelawardan Model Apolo. Keunggulan dari alat ini antara lain besar kecilnya alat dapat disesuaikandengan kemampuan nelayan, alat lebih praktis dan efektif dioperasikan di segala medan, danperkakas bahan serta pelengkapnya tersedia di dalam negeri.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover factors that inhibit teachers in the implementation of class X geography learning in 1 Senior High School of Indralaya. This study uses a qualitative approach. The object of this research is class X geography learning at 1 Senior High School of Indralaya The subjects of this study were the Principal, geography teacher, and class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. Data collection is done by interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are a) data reduction, b) data presentation, and c) conclusion making. Test the validity of the data using triangulation techniques. based on the results of the study found three main factors that become obstacles in the implementation of geography learning in class X SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya namely; 1) teacher factor, 2) infrastructure facilities factor, and 3) learning process factor. Furthermore, from the results of the study found, that the efforts made by teachers to overcome the problem of learning there has not been a significant impact on improving the quality of learning geography in class X SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya

Abstract

The research aimed to discover the optimization of the use of the science kits in MIN Ngestiharjo Wates based on (1) the general condition of the school, including teachers’ and students’ condition, (2) the completeness of the science kits and it’s instructions, covering their conditions when received and their recent conditions, (3) the number and the use of the science kits in science study, (4) the frequency of the use of the science kits, (5) teachers’ knowledge of using the science kits, (6) teachers’ experiences in attending the training, and (7) teachers’ experiences and their opinions in using the science kits in science study. This research used the quantitative approach by the ki nd of survey research categories. Data were collected using questionnaires, observation, and interview to the officers. The instrument validity was assessed using the volume validities while the reliability was assessed using the triangulation method. Data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis technique. Findings show that the using of the science kits is not optimal based on, first, the general condition of the school covering the comparison between total students and science kits is not in adequate condition and the number of the teachers is already adequate, nevertheless, their overall qualification was inadequate. Second, the number of the science kits was in complete condition but the instructions covering the science kits were good when they’re received and partly, they’re damaged (25.0%). Third, the science kits are used in some of the science Study (66.7%) and the use of them in group practical activities was lack (66.7%) meanwhile they were precisely adequate for the demonstration (33.3%). Fourth, the average utilization frequency of science kits is 12 times maximum usage. Fifth, the respondents already understood the goal of using the science kits. Sixth, there were only small part of the respondents attended the upgrading activities. Lastly, the respondents experienced some obstacles in using the science kits covering the science kits packages are not adequate enough, the lack of science kits upgrading activities, and the needs for more times in using the science kits so that the respondents propose the problemalternative solutions such as increasing the teachers equaling program, upgrading the science kits, improving the KKG qualities, teachers’ sharing, and other materials of references or associated (already performed). Otherwise, it is necessary to conduct the technical guidance especially for science teachers, improving the science upgrading program, improving the KKG qualities, increment the number of science kits, and separated timing allocation (hasn’t been performed).

Abstract

This study aims to identify the impact of YouTube on the language development of early childhood in the Pelita area of ​​Mataram City. YouTube, as one of the most popular digital platforms, attracts not only adults but also children, who are increasingly involved in the content presented. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this study describes the conditions in the field in detail through interviews with parents and observations of children's behavior when they access YouTube content. Research shows that YouTube has a dual impact on children's language development. On the one hand, children who watch educational content tend to experience increased vocabulary, foreign language comprehension, and communication skills. However, on the other hand, children can also be exposed to indecent words and inappropriate content, which can affect the way they communicate. Therefore, parental supervision is needed so that the benefits of positive content are more optimal and the risk of negative content can be reduced.   ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dampak youtube terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini di lingkungan Pelita Kota Mataram. YouTube, sebagai salah satu platform digital yang paling populer, tidak hanya menarik perhatian orang dewasa tetapi juga anak-anak, yang semakin terlibat dalam konten-konten yang disajikan. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini menggambarkan kondisi di lapangan secara rinci melalui wawancara dengan orang tua dan observasi terhadap perilaku anak-anak saat mereka mengakses konten YouTube. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa youtube memiliki dampak ganda pada perkembangan bahasa anak. Di satu sisi, anak yang menonton konten edukatif cenderung mengalami peningkatan kosakata, pemahaman bahasa asing, dan keterampilan berkomunikasi. Namun, di sisi lain, anak juga dapat terpapar kata-kata tidak senonoh dan konten kurang pantas, yang dapat memengaruhi cara berkomunikasi mereka. Karena itu, diperlukan pengawasan orang tua agar manfaat dari konten positif lebih optimal dan risiko konten negatif dapat dikurangi.

Abstract

Tujuan adanya artikel ini untuk menginvestigasi cara guru di TK Aisyiyah 11 Palembang dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar matematika permulaan pada anak usia dini. Dengan mengetahui strategi yang bagus dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar matematika anak, hal bisa dipratekkan oleh orang tua di rumah ketika ingin mengajarkan anak matematika permulaan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan sampel guru kelas B2 TK Aisyiyah 11 Palembang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian bahwa strategi yang dilakukan oleh guru TK Aisyiyah 11 Palembang dalam mengajarkan Matematika permulaan kepada anak adalah dengan menggunakan media yang dibuat oleh guru dengan bahan yang ada di lingkungan sekitar, lalu anak harus terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Selanjutnya dalam proses pembelajaran guru melakukan ice breaking. Selain itu guru menggunakan metode pemberian tugas demi melatih kemampuan matematika permulaan anak. Kesimpulan strategi yang dilaksanakan oleh guru di TK Aisyiyah 11 Palembang dapat membuat kemampuan matematika permulaan anak meningkat dibuktikan dengan lembar kerja anak yang mampu memahami konsep matematika permulaan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze teachers’ understanding of authentic assessment. The assessment process seeks to evaluate whether educational goals have been met, thus highlighting the important role of evaluation in the education sector. Effective and comprehensive evaluation is conducted on an ongoing basis, providing educators with a comprehensive view of student learning achievement and progress. Each subject emphasizes the importance of ongoing assessment, which is aligned with broader educational goals and outcomes. This article serves as a literature review intended to explore the features of 21st century learning and their implications for assessment, specifically authentic assessment. Given globalization and rapid technological advancements, the educational paradigm has shifted from a teacher-centered approach to a student-centered approach. Learning in the 21st century prioritizes the enhancement of critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication skills (often referred to as the 4Cs). Therefore, conventional assessment is considered inadequate to measure learning outcomes that are complex and contextual. This study explores various relevant scientific sources to formulate a comprehensive understanding of authentic assessment as an approach that is in line with the characteristics of 21st century learning. Authentic assessment emphasizes real, contextual processes and products, and provides meaningful learning experiences. The findings of this study recommend that teachers need to design assessments that are integrated with the learning process, encourage active student involvement, and assess abilities holistically. This study is expected to be a guide for education professionals in creating assessment methods that are in line with 21st century requirements.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between healthy eating patterns and the growth and development of early childhood. A healthy diet is a crucial factor in supporting physical growth and cognitive, motor, and social development in early childhood. The research method used is a literature review by analyzing books, journals, and other relevant references. Data were analyzed by relating the findings to child development theories and balanced nutrition principles. The results show that balanced intake of macro and micronutrients significantly affects height and weight growth, brain development, and children's immune systems. Implementing a healthy diet from an early age can prevent growth disorders such as stunting and improve children's quality of life.

Abstract

The low science literacy ability for Central Java Province is certainly related to educational institutions that produce prospective science teachers. The better and more mature the preparations are made, the more professional the graduates are produced. The purpose of this study is to reveal the phenomenon that occurs in an Islamic university in Surakarta as one of the producers of prospective MI teachers. The aspects measured include the essence of science and how to learn science. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. The findings of this research are distinguished from three major challenges, namely (1) Specialization in the scientific field starts from the selection of science courses that are less accommodating to pay attention to the tendency of interest of prospective MI teachers, (2) the determination of courses should refer to the acquisition of science literacy assessments nationally and the rankings of PISA and TIMSS Indonesia, and (3) It is necessary to provide more intensive debriefing to prospective MI teachers about professionalism competencies.
