Abstract

The work of farmers is prone to the risk of health problems such as pain in the joints and fatigue. The research problem is that farmers complain of rapid fatigue, so the purpose of the study is to determine the physiological workload on rice farmers when planting rice and determine the best time for farmers. Methods used are Cardiovascular Load (%CVL) and Energy Consumption to determine the weight of the workload of farmers, and rest time to determine the length of rest. Results and discussion, %CVL is 7 people with action no fatigue and 46 people with action needed improvement. Energy consumption is the smallest percentage of 4.14 kcal / minute with a mild classification and the largest percentage of 6.14 kcal / minute with a moderate classification. In the second measurement, the smallest percentage was 4.49 kcal/min with a mild classification, and the largest percentage was 6.90 kcal/min with a moderate classification. In the third measurement, the smallest percentage was 3.96 kcal/min with a mild classification, and the largest percentage was 6.39 kcal/min with a moderate classification. The smallest rest time was 12.65 minutes and the largest rest time was 120.39 minutes. In conclusion, the mean %CVL was 13.21% with no fatigue, 86.79% with improvement needed. Average energy consumption with mild classification with a percentage of 4.21% and moderate classification with a percentage of 6.26%. The smallest rest time is 12.65 minutes while the largest is 120.39 minutes

Abstract

Palm Oil Mill PT. Perkebunan Nusantara I (PKS PTPN 1) Tanjung Seumentoh is a company that processes palm oil into Crude Palm Oil (CPO) with a production capacity of 45 tons of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB)/hour with a factory area of ±10 Ha. Harvesting of oil palm fruit is done manually using the Egrek tool. The purpose of this study was to identify the compressive force and lift index of oil palm harvesting operators. The research stages, there are three stages of research, namely the first stage, namely the survey of the research location, the second stage of collecting research data on the number of workers, age of workers, weight of equipment, and height of equipment used to harvest oil palm fruit, the third stage is data processing using the Biomechanics method with calculations the maximum. Permissible Limit (MPL) Recommended Weight Limit (RWL). The method used, Biomechanics is divided into two methods, namely Maximum Permissible Limit (MPL) and Recommended Weight Limit (RWL). Results and discussion, from the calculation of RWL on 8 operators obtained an average Horizontal Multiplier (HM) 0.89, Vertical Multiplier (VM) 62,41625, Distance Multiplier (DM) 1.01875, Asymmetric Multiplier (AM) 1. MPL calculation from 8 operators obtained an average average Wtotal 421.79, Abdominal Pressure (PA) 1.8, Muscle force 681.79, Wrist Moment 1.05, Sacral Moment 11.47375, Total Moment 35.06. In conclusion, the compressive force on 8 oil palm harvesting operators with an average Recommended Weight Limit (RWL) of 1173.3 N and an average value of Maximum Permissible Limit (MPL) of 715.8 N. Abstract

Kecamatan Seruway mempunyai daerah pesisir dengan pekerjaan Nelayan sebagai mata pencaharian utama penduduk. Permasalahan Mitra pada proses produksi dan pemasaran. Pada proses produksi, udang sabu sebagai material didapat tidak menentu, sementara sumber daya alam yang lain, Mitra tidak mempunyai pengetahuan cara memanfaatkannya. Alat manual pada proses produksi sehingga berlangsung lama, melelahkan dan terasi yang dihasilkan tidak bersih. Pada pemasaran, pengemasan sederhana dan tidak menarik, terasi dipasarkan hanya pada kawasan Kecamatan Seruway. Pemasaran terasi Mitra sangat merosot, apalagi dengan adanya pandemic Covid-19. disebabkan sedikitnya yang membeli terasi Mitra dan tidak pernah ada acara lagi yang diadakan oleh Pemerintah Daerah. Sementara untuk pemasaran online dan delivery, Mitra tidak tahu cara menggunakannya. Ketidaktahuan dalam menggunakan database untuk usaha, Mitra hanya mengandalkan perasaan dalam usahanya, tidak mengetahui cara mengelola keuangan dengan menggunakan aplikasi. Pandemi covid-19 ini tidak disiasati Mitra dengan memberdayakan sumber daya alam (darat) seperti kelapa. Virgin coconut oil (VCO) dan tempat bunga merupakan hasil dari kelapa sebagai solusi untuk Mitra. Solusi yang lain terhadap permasalahan Mitra adalah pemberian alat otomatis untuk meringankan pekerjaan dan mempercepat pekerjaan Mitra. Pelatihan dan pendampingan menggunakan alat yang diberikan, pelatihan pemasaran online dan delivery, pelatihan penggunaan database dengan menggunakan microsoft acces. Evaluasi dilakukan agar skill Mitra meningkat, terutama dalam teknologi dan penggunaan database. Mitra juga diberikan pelatihan cara membuat VCO dan pelatihan pembuatan tempat bunga dari serat kelapa. VCO dan tempat bunga dari serat kelapa merupakan alternatif untuk meningkatkan pendapatan dimasa pandemi covid-19 ini.

Abstract

Produktivitas merupakan perbandingan output (keluaran) dan input (masukan) persatuan waktu. Penelitian bertujuan mendapatkan peralatan yang ergonomis melalui perancangan ulang trolly. Perancangan ulang dilakukan untuk mendapatkan waktu kerja yang optimal dalam bekerja sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Penelitian menggambarkan adanya fasilitas kerja(trolly) yang manual sehingga operator bekerja dengan beban kerja yang besar dan adanya keluhan subyektifitas operator sehingga waktu kerja menjadi lama. Beberapa hal yang akan dijadikan dasar dalam melakukan perancangan ulang adalah Standard Nordiq Questionnaire (SNQ), Antropometri dan metode French sebagai dasar dalam perancangan fasilitas(trolly), metode %CVL dan %HR untuk menganalisis beban kerja operator. Hasil pengukuran menunjukan tindakan sekarang juga untuk perancangan ulang ditandai dengan banyaknya titik keluhan yang dirasakan operator melalui Standard Nordiq Questionnaire(SNQ), 32,14% untuk metode %CVL dan %HR. sehingga waktu standar yang dihasilkan 4,89 menit dan produktivitas yang dihasilkan adalah 98 unit/man-hour. Setelah perancangan ulang, hasil pengukuran menunjukkan tindakan aman, ditandai dengan waktu standar yang didapat setelah perancangan ulang trolly adalah 0,95 menit dan produktivitas yang dihasilkan adalah 505 unit/ man-hour. Sementara hasil Standard Nordiq Questionnaire (SNQ), metode %CVL dan %HR belum bisa diukur berhubung perancangan ulang trolly hanya satu sisi saja.

Abstract

The workload is the difference between the ability of workers with job demands. If the ability of workers is higher than the demands of the job, then boredom will appear, and vice versa. The method used is the NASA TLX method, and the instrument used is the NASA-TLX questionnaire given to 16 respondents. Results and Discussion The average of the six indicators of shift 1 is an indicator of mental needs with an average value of 146.88, an indicator of physical needs with an average value of 237.5, an indicator of time needs with an average value of 140, a performance indicator with a value of an average of 119.38, an indicator of the level of effort with an average value of 247.88, an indicator of the level of frustration with an average value of 82.5. In conclusion, the mental workload level of the production workers for both shifts is included in the high workload category. The dominant indicators for the activities of the first shift workers in the production section are the level of effort indicators, indicators of physical needs, indicators of mental needs, indicators of time requirements, and performance indicators. . The dominant indicators in worker activity in Shift II in the production section are indicators of physical needs, levels of effort, indicators of time requirements, indicators of mental needs, performance indicators, and the last indicator is frustration.

Abstract

The Handsome Barber is one of the barbershop businesses in Langsa City which was founded by Mr. Musliadi, in 2020 The Handsome Barber was established and had only been running for about 1 year, having its address at Jalan Ahmad Yani. The problems experienced by The Handsome Barber are the ups and downs of the number of customers using The Handsome Barber services every month and the planned targets are not being achieved. The aim of this research is to identify opportunities, threats, strengths, and weaknesses in The Ganteng Barber and create marketing strategies to improve the marketing system. The method used is SWOT and AHP. The results and discussion show that the company's internal and external factors identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats with a weighted score of Strengths 0.240, Weaknesses 0.208 Opportunities 0.315, and Threats 0.237. The marketing strategy in improving the marketing system at The Ganteng Barber is the S-O (Strength-Opportunity) Strategy to maintain a quality workforce, the W-O (Weakness-Opportunity) Strategy to maintain quality and good relationships with customers, the S-T (Strength-Threat) Strategy to empower a skilled workforce Experienced and W-T (Weakness-Threat) Strategy Increasing prices must be matched with quality. The conclusion of this study is based on the SWOT analysis Cartesius diagram, The Handsome Barber is in quadrant (I) where the quadrant is a good situation for the company to take advantage of its strengths to exploit existing opportunities.

Abstract

Desa Kuala Pusong Kapal dengan luas 188,49 km2 mempunyai 611 jiwa jumlah penduduk. Hampir 80% Kepala Keluarga bekerja sebagai Nelayan, selebihnya Mereka tidak tahan dengan mabuk laut, sehingga bekerja sebagai pemulung, termasuk Mitra. Tim Pengabdi menemukan tiga permasalahan pada Mitra yaitu bidang produksi, Mitra tidak tahu memberdayakan sumber daya alam di daerahnya, Mitra tidak mempunyai ide dan modal dalam membuka usaha. Bidang manajemen, Mitra tidak tahu mengatur perencanaan produksi, Bidang Pemasaran, Mitra tidak tahu membuat kemasan dan   cara memasarkan produk. Tujuan pengabdian pada bidang Produksi, yaitu memberdayakan sumber daya alam yang ada yakni biji pohon manggrove dibuat menjadi kopi mangrove, ikan yang dibuat menjadi kerupuk ikan, memberikan modal, baik dari bahan baku diawal maupun alat/mesin yang ergonomis. Sosialisasi dilakukan kepada Mitra dalam penggunaan alat/mesin. Ada beberapa pelatihan diberikan mulai dari pada bagian produksi sampai pemasaran. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu bidang produksi, pendapatan meningkat (80%), pengetahuan meningkat (100%), keterampilan meningkat (100%), memproduksi kopi manggrove (85%), memproduksi kerupuk ikan (100%), alat/mesin dapat berproduksi 200 bungkus kopi manggrove dan 250 kerupuk ikan (100%). Target bidang manajemen keterampilan mengatur pembagian tugas  dan mengatur perencanaan produksi  meningkat (85%). Target bidang pemasaran, pengetahuan Mitra membuat kemasan meningkat  (85%), melayani konsumen tatap muka dan marketplace minimal 5 orang perbulan (85%).

Abstract

Keripik ubi merupakan produk olahan dari ubi kayu dan ubi jalar. Industri pembuatan keripik ubi menghadapi tantangan produksi terutama dalam proses penirisan minyak yang kurang efisien dan kurang higienis. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas dan kualitas keripik ubi melalui inovasi dalam proses penirisan minyak. Fokus utama adalah dua Kelompok Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) di Kecamatan Langsa Baro. Penggunaan alat penirisan minyak ergonomis diharapkan dapat mengurangi waktu proses dan meningkatkan kualitas produk. Sebagai tambahan, program ini memberikan pelatihan pemasaran online untuk membantu IKM mencapai pasar yang lebih luas. Kesimpulan menekankan pentingnya peningkatan higienisitas produksi, efisiensi waktu, dan strategi pemasaran yang sesuai dengan kondisi mitra usaha.

Abstract

Makmur Jaya is a vaname shrimp farming business, located in Kebun Kelapa Village, Secanggang District, Stabat. The problem faced by SMEs. Makmur Jaya is that poor input utilization causes productivity to decline. The research objective is to identify productivity and productivity improvement strategies at SMEs. Makmur Jaya. The method used in this research is the American Productivity Center (APC) method. The results of the study, the largest increase in the productivity index in period 4 by 1% while the largest decrease in the productivity index in period 2 by -46.74%, the highest increase in the profitability index in period 3 by 1% while the highest decrease in profitability index in period 2 by -55.06%, and the largest price improvement index occurred in capital period 2 by 1.62, while the smallest price improvement index occurred in material period 2 by 0.79. The study concludes that the decline in productivity occurred in period 2 by 46.74%, so it is necessary to increase productivity. Strategy to increase productivity in SMEs. Makmur Jaya is minimizing the use of inputs to produce large outputs. Based on the results of the calculation, the input can be reduced by 36.49% (RP. 107,969,896) and the output can be increased by 56.53% (RP. 107,296,767) so that the total productivity increases by 0.94% from the initial total productivity.
