Abstract

Upaya untuk memacu tingkat literasi masyarakat sering terkendala dengan kondisi masyarakat sasaran. Kondisi tersebut antara lain dipengaruhi oleh latar belakang pendidikan dan budaya masyarakat sasaran. Tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah membantu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri kalangan pemuda Gampoeng Meurandeh Dayah untuk bergaul dengan masyarakat kampus di Universitas Samudra yang berada di Kota Langsa, Aceh. Rendahnya kepercayaan diri tersebut dilatarbelakangi oleh persepsi bahwa masyarakat kampus identikdengan kepemilikan informasi dan pengetahuan yang tinggi melalui sumber bacaan berupa refensi yang sulit dipahami. Selain itu hambatan interaksi pemuda kampung dengan masyarakat kampus juga dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi gegar budaya atau cultural shock akibat beragamnya budaya yang dibawa oleh masyarakat kampus sebagai pendatang di Gampoeng Meurandeh Dayah. Rintisan Gampoeng Literasi merupakan wujud pendidikan non formal dengan tujuan membantu masyarakat memperoleh informasi dan pengetahuan secara kontinue dengan mengkreasikan berbagai sumber pengetahuan dan informasi. Berdasarkan potensi yang dimiliki maka lattering poster dapat dijadikan upaya penyelengaaraan rintisan Gampoeng literasi sebagai program rangsangan yang bersifat ringan dan kreatif namun tidak lepas dari tujuan utama.

Abstract

PAUD educators have a strategic role to instill local wisdom owned by the local community through various learning activities and the use of adequate educational teaching aids. But unfortunately PAUD educators still have limitations and obstacles to realize their ideal role. PAUD educators in Darul Aman Subdistrict are more accustomed to using educative teaching aids produced by factories without considering other aspects outside the pragmatic aspects. Community Service aims to assist PAUD Educators in understanding the various types and models of educational game tools and helping educators plan, develop and use Educational tools based on local wisdom. The results of the implementation of activities can increase the linguistic skills of students as has been observed so far not good. produce Educational Game products in the form of hand puppets with the theme of Malem Diwa saga along with a stage and story book as a companion to the Peabody model that was developed based on needs analysis and local wisdom content that is mainstreamed and in accordance with enhanced development aspects. Long term, this service program is expected can foster independence for PAUD Educators in Darul Aman sub-district to be able to develop Educational Games with the same model for other learning themes

Abstract

This service aims to provide assistance and guidance for vocational school teachers in East Aceh Regency to write scientific articles in journals through a distance learning system. Assistance in writing scientific articles is important for teachers in East Aceh considering that it is an obligation for teachers to advance in rank or career class. This mentoring is carried out with an online concept through a distance learning system. Mentoring is conceptualized in three stages, namely planning, implementation and evaluation. The target and output to be achieved in this service is to increase the ability of teachers to write scientific articles for journals and to produce outputs in the form of articles published in ISSN journals.

Abstract

The Langsa City Government-issued Circular Number 443.1 / 1066/2020 regarding one of the contents of wearing a mask when outside the home, due to the increasing spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. The Covid-19 outbreak has spread throughout the world, making it a global problem. ASEAN countries that have confirmed positive for contracting Covid-19 are Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and the Philippines, Indonesia. Indonesia determined 1,528 positive Covid-19 and 136 cases of death, especially Aceh Province, there were 9 people who tested positive for Covid-19. The recommendation of the Langsa City Government is very hard to be implemented by the residents of Langsa City, it is proven that there are still many Langsa City residents who do not wear masks when outside the house. The aim of this service is to minimize the transmission of the covid-19 outbreak in Langsa City by providing ergonomic masks to the residents of Langsa City. The masks provided are designed so that humans are comfortable wearing them. The Community Service activities started from a field survey, designing ergonomic masks and what Langsa City residents wanted, making masks, then the Service Team and Partners gave Langsa City Residents who did not wear masks while outside the house. Service outputs are ISSN service journals (publish), print media (publish), and products (ergonomic masks). The target that the Service Team hopes for is that residents of Langsa City wear ergonomic masks when they are outside the house and avoid the Covis-19 outbreak by using ergonomic masks.

Abstract

This PKM is motivated by the inadequate empowerment of PKK cadres in Aceh Tamiang Regency in utilizing the coral environment in their respective villages and the lack of maximum knowledge of cadres in cultivating potential plants through the tabulakar and tabulampot systems. The purpose of this PKM is to train PKK cadres in Aceh Tamiang Regency to maximize the potential of the yard in rural areas by using the tabulampot system so as to increase community welfare with a creative economic system. The method of implementing this PKM activity is to use the method of applying science and technology which is carried out with a system of training and mentoring for tabulampot activities. The results of PKM that have been achieved are increasing the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres in Aceh Tamiang Regency in cultivating potential plants through the system and tabulampot.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memberikan wawasan serta meningkatkan profesionalisme guru di Kota Langsa dalam membuat bahan ajar yang menarik dan interaktif bagi siswa, terutama dalam membuat komik digital. Secara umum, kesulitan yang dialami oleh para guru dalam membuat komik digital adalah bagaimana membuat desain komiks ecara mudah dan menarik. Pada saartini di Kota Langsa guru-guru pada umumnya kesulitan menerapkan pendekatan, strategi, teknik, dan model pembelajaran serta mengembangkan media pembelajaran dan bahan ajar, khususnya dalam materi pendidikan politik. Kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar/dikte masih sangat rendah. Ada beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan hal tersebut terjadi. Pertama, guru tidak memahami cara membuat dan mengembangkan bahan ajar. Kedua, masih kurangnya pelatihan pembuatan/pengembangan bahan ajar/dikte oleh instansi terkait. Ketiga, manfaat menjadi penulis tidak diketahui sebagai profesi alternatif selain sebagai tenaga pengajar oleh guru. Solusi masalah mitra antara lain a) Membuat pelatihan bagi guru SD untuk melakukan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis digital dengan membuat E-Comics untuk siswa SD. b) Memberikan pendampingan kepada guru SD untuk melakukan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis digital dengan membuat E-Comics untuk siswa SD. c) Pembuatan e-comic dalam mengoptimalkan kompetensi guru dalam membuat bahan ajar.

Abstract

Bengkel literasi merupakan strategi pengembangan keterampilan literasi yang menekankan pengoptimalan keterampilan literasi yang telah dimiliki siswa. Bengkel literasi dibangun atas dua aktivitas utama yakni membaca dan menulis. Keterampilan berbahasa baik tulis maupun lisan bertujuan agar siswa dapat berkomunikasi secara efektif, mengekspresikan diri dengan cara yang dapat dipahami oleh orang lain. Menurut hasil dari observasi dan wawancara yang telah dilakukan kepada guru- guru dan pihak terkait di SD kota Langsa, anak-anak yang duduk di bangku sekolah dasar di Kota Langsa menunjukkan angka literasi yang sangat rendah. Keadaan tersebut disinyalir diakibatkan oleh kondisi sekolah dan sarana prasarana yang ada di sekolah tersebut tidak mendukung budaya literasi. Salah satunya adalah terbatasnya media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk mendukung program literasi berjalan sebagaimana mestinya. Solusi yang direncanakan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah 1) Membuat pelatihan kepada guru SD untuk melaksanakan startegi bengkel literasi bagi siswa SD. 2) Memberikan pelatihan kepada guru SD untuk melaksanakan pengembangan media pembelajaran E- Pop Up bagi siswa SD. 3) Membuat E- Pop Up dalam mengoptimalkan literasi baca tulis anak. Media Pembelajaran yang dimaksud berupa Pop Up Book untuk guru SD. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah sebagian besar guru belum pernah mendapatkan pelatihan media pembelajaran Pop Up Book. Para guru memberikan respon yang positif terhadap kegiatan yang dilakukan. Kreativitas guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran berupa E-PopUp meningkat. Dengan adanya pop up book guru dapat memberikan konsep real berupa gambar 3D kepada siswa di tingkat dasar. Selain itu, literasi dasar terutama pada keterampilan membaca siswa SD juga meningkat.

Abstract

The aims of this research are 1). prove the characteristics of Generation Z as the subject of character education, between theory and facts in the field, 2). find the possibility to reduce the gap between generations and unify the vision of character education, 3). formulate solutions and methods that can be applied so that the implementation of character education in schools can be more effectiveThe research method used is qualitative with phenomenology type. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews and questionnaires. The subjects of your research were junior high school students from several schools in Langsa City, Aceh and the border areas of North Sumatra. The informants who participated in this study were 44 students. Coming from 3 schools namely SMPN 2 Langsa, SMPN 3 Langsa and SMPN 1 Babalan, North Sumatra. The research was conducted in May 2021. The data validity technique used source triangulation and interactive analysis was used as a data analysis technique.The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of Generation Z are not fully owned by children in their early teens in research settings. In some cases, differences in character and values between teachers and students become obstacles to strengthening character education. Integrity character is the weakest character. Barriers to social relations in the development of Generation Z are caused by the fact that they are in the stage of finding their own identity and characteristics. In this situation, the teacher can take the role of guiding and providing support so that there is no gap between generations which results in culture shock between the teacher and student relationship. The initial conditions of the Z generation can be used as a reference for determining teacher efforts in obtaining keys in interpersonal relations with students and building an atmosphere that supports strengthening character education

Abstract

Kompetensi Pedagogi merupakan bekal dasar yang wajib dimiliki oleh seluruh guru, peningkatan kompetensi pedagogi dapat diperoleh dengan berbagai kegiatan, salah satunya dengan melalui kegiatan pelatihan. Mitra masyarakat pada PKM ini adalah guru-guru KKG Gugus IV Cut Mutia Kota Langsa. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa masih banyak guru-guru yang belum memanfaatkan teknologi dalam pembelajaran, padahal fasilitas pendukung seperti infokus, Chromebook dan lain-lain tersedia. Berdasarkan kenyataan tersebut maka dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat untuk membantu guru-guru agar secara kreatif dan inovatif dapat mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbantuan website wordwall. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama satu bulan melalui empat rincian kegiatan yaitu: sosialisasi, bimtek, pelatihan, dan pendampingan pengembangan media pembelajaran wordwall sebagai bentuk upaya peningkatan kompetensi pedagogi guru. Dari kegiatan ini dihasilkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kompetensi pedagogi guru dalam menyiapkan media pembelajaran melalui website wordwall. guru-guru KKG Gugus IV Cut Mutia Kota Langsa setelah menerima materi pelatihan terkait pemanfaatan wordwall sebagai pendukung peningkatan kompetensi pedagogi yang disampaikan oleh narasumber. Peningkatan terlihat dari persentase rerata sebesar 89,81% dari persentase sebelumnya yaitu 46,79%. Hasil media guru-guru juga terbukti inovatif yang akan diimplementasikan di sekolahnya masing-masing sebagai tindak lanjut dari kegiatan PKM. Dari temuan disampaikan rekomendasi dan saran kepada guru-guru untuk membentuk komunitas belajar sebagai wadah berbagi praktik baik dan saling berbagi informasi tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran berbantuan website wordwall.

Abstract

Developing diagnostic tests for differentiated learning in Kurikulum Merdeka is becoming increasingly important to address today's learning challenges. Diagnostic tests can help teachers more effectively identify students' needs and abilities so that they can improve learning effectiveness and better achieve learning goals in Kurikulum Merdeka. The aim of this research is to develop a digital diagnostic test instrument for the differentiated learning process for elementary school students that is valid and suitable for use. This research is development research. The product developed is a digital diagnostic test instrument. The results of the development research produced a digital diagnostic test instrument for the differentiated learning process in elementary schools that is valid and suitable for use in measuring the learning styles of elementary school students.
