Abstract

Indonesia has great zakat potential, but its realization is not yet commensurate with the existing potential. This research aims to examine four factors influencing the preference for making zakat payments through digital media in zakat institutions. These factors include financial technology (FinTech) knowledge, zakat knowledge, lifestyle, and satisfaction. The focus of this study is on Muzakki at the Lembaga Manajemen Infaq (LMI) in Malang. The data analysis method employed is SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Square), with path analysis using SmartPLS 4 to test the pattern of relationships between variables. The results indicate that all four factors have a positive relationship with the preference for making zakat payments through digital media at zakat institutions. It is expected that the findings of this research can serve as a reference regarding the preference for using digital media to optimize the collection of zakat funds or enhance community participation in fulfilling zakat payments.

In this research, quantitative methods are used with a multiple linier regression approach which uses classical assumpsion tests in the form of normality tests, heteroscedasticity tests, and muticollinearity tests. This research examined 50 alumni data from Rumah Gemilang Indonesia. In this research, it shows that the education variable and the income variable have a simultaneous effect based on the F tests, and have a partial effect based on the T tests, and show that the percentage of influence of the education variable and the walfare variable is 80,6% (R-Square) while it is 19,6% the other is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. In general, this research shows that Rumah Gemilang Indonesia is able to make alumni prosperous so that LAZ Al-Azhar as a zakat amil institution that owns the program plays a maximum role. Abstract

Covid-19 has made poverty in Indonesia increase again. The main source of household income wages, has decreased and unemployment has increased. The minimum wage policy was established to increase workers’ per capita wages. While economic growth has decreased, Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah (ZIS) funds have consistently increased. Income distribution according to conventional and Islamic economics has an important role in reducing poverty. Researchers see that the variables of minimum wages, unemployment, and ZIS in previous studies still have inconsistent results and previous studies have not combined the three variables together. So, this study aims to determine the effect of minimum wage, unemployment, and ZIS on poverty in West Java. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. The results prove that minimum wage and unemployment have a significant effect on poverty, while ZIS has no significant effect on poverty.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of socioeconomic and ecological factors on the Willingness to Pay (WTP) for environmental conservation within the Glintung Go Green initiative. The research analyzes key variables, including income , education , employment status , age ), gender , length of residency , flood frequency , and flood impact , to understand their influence on WTP. Using Smart-PLS, the results show that income, education, and employment status positively affect social and ecological factors, which in turn significantly influence WTP (coefficient = 0.533). However, age and length of residency display a negative relationship, suggesting that younger and more recent residents may be more willing to contribute to conservation efforts. This study highlights the importance of socioeconomic improvements to enhance community readiness for supporting environmental initiatives. The findings provide valuable insights for policymakers aiming to promote sustainable practices in urban communities, particularly by leveraging socioeconomic and ecological factors that motivate financial contributions to conservation projects like Glintung Go Green. Keywords: "Glintung Go Green"; "Willingness to Pay"; "Socioeconomic factors"; "Ecological factors"; "Environmental conservation".
