Abstract

This research was that the theme of the place of the Broadcasting Board of Hinduism in Indonesia. This research is qualitative descriptive design to outline the position associated with Hindu Broadcasting Agency (BPH). This research was conducted at the Center BPH, BPH Banten and BPH DKI Jakarta. The process of collecting the data, through several namely: observation, interviews, literature, and documentation. The process of collecting data in this study through several stages: observation, interviews, and documentation. Related to that this research is a field data into the underlying data in the study, the authors in this case finding and determine the sources that are considered helpful in providing information to then be processed through a technique to achieve the validity of the data that is triangulation (observation, interviews, and literature) and photographs or other supporting documents. This study refers to the position of the Broadcasting Agency in the Hindu religious development in Indonesia. How BPH development support for the Hindus through electronic media and the mass media. BPH is expected through broadcasting products more varied and also coaching Hindus can be improved. Thus, knowledge of Hindu teachings can be conveyed and understood by Hindus

Abstract

The communication is part that cannot be separated by the life of human beings especially in the interaction, in this also happened in relation to form of communication which is in counseling Hinduism running. In this research problem basic design is a model and patterns of communication based nusantara Hindu culture. The purpose of this research is to analyze model on the design and the communication of Hindus in Jakarta. Methods used is qualitative analysis by approach phenomenology constructivism and the type of data using interview. Research findings that is the kind of design model and the pattern the science of communication hindu based nusantara consisting of; synergy institutions, moderation and development, the media and dialectics communication, and harmony and culture was also become urgen must be considered because of continued think between a man and cultural goes to ground a extension workers.This, can be delivered that there is a guidance that sustainable done with understanding from their mastery of the material, information media and the adjustment of with local knowledge in effect in the region local.

Abstract

This research will discuss about lastare as a communication symbol used by the indigenous people of Buru Island in sending messages. Today the influence of information and communication technology is very massive, this condition has an impact on the traditions of the people who use cultural symbols of their local wisdom as communication symbols, the traditions of the people of Buru Island who use the last symbol as a symbol of communication feel the impact. The main problem in this research is why the lastare message is considered a symbol of communication in the culture of the Buru Island people, and what is the meaning of the lastare message in the communication of the Buru people. The purpose of this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interviews, observation and documentation studies, then the theory used is symbolic interaction. The findings of this study are lastare as a symbol of communication which in the process is an agreement between the tribes on Buru Island, the role of lastare as a symbol that bridges communication between them. Lastare as communication has meaning and understanding based on agreement, then in the communication message there are also other symbols used to interpret the message owned by the communicator.

Abstract

Membahas tentang FKUB sebagai bagian daripada lembaga pemerintah yang bertugas untuk menyelaraskan keserasian dalam hubunganya dengan kehidupan keagamaan. Namun dewasa ini terjadi kasus-kasus intoleransi misalnya hoax, penyebaran berita bohong, dan ketegangan antar sesama umat berawal dari perbedaan pilihan pemimpin yang mengakibatkan terjadinya penyimpangan dan ketidaknyamanan dalam hal berkehidupan keaagamaan. Adapun yang menjadi pokok masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana upaya Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama Provinsi DKI Jakarta dalam membangun dan memperkuat semangat toleransi antar umat beragama, keterlibatan Parisada Hindu Dharma Indonesia Provinsi DKI Jakarta pada kegiatan FKUB di DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deksriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi, kemudian pada penelitian ini menggunakan teori komunikasi organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan. Temuan dari penelitian ini adalah Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama melakukan kegiatan budaya lintas agama yang bertujuan untuk menanamkan arti nilai kerukunan sejak dini, simakrama dengan tokoh lintas agama melalui dialog konstruktif serta kerjasama dengan seluruh komponen masyarakat. Langkah Parisada dalam upaya membangun sikap toleransi dengan merangkul generasi muda melalui pembekalan tentang cara berkehidupan yang damai, harmonis, dilingkungan masyarakat yang plural, agar di masa depan generasi muda akan menjadi penerus kepemimpinan Hindu yang paham tentang nilai-nilai kebersamaan dalam sebuah perbedaan.

Abstract

Catur Guru as a strategic foundation in strengthening student character education at the Kertajaya Non-Formal Pasraman, Tangerang. Catur Guru, as the core of Hindu teachings that includes respect for Guru Swadyaya (God), Guru Wisesa (government), Guru Rupaka (parents), and Guru Pengajian (teachers at school), was chosen to strengthen character education based on moral and spiritual values. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, which includes participatory observation, interviews with related parties, and document analysis regarding the implementation of Catur Guru at the pasraman. The results of the study indicate that the teachings of Catur Guru (guru swadyaya, guru rupaka, guru pengajian, and guru wisesa) at the Kertajaya Pasraman Tangerang have made a positive contribution to the character of the Hindu generation. Through guru swadyaya (religious habits, prayer), guru pengajian (exemplary behavior, discipline, responsibility), guru rupaka (respect for parents), and guru wisesa (discipline, responsibility, and social concern). This concept has succeeded in internalizing the values of all Catur Guru adaptively. As a result, students are able to develop noble personalities that balance tradition, preserving local wisdom, and adapting to modern developments. Despite the challenges of globalization and parents' limited time, opportunities for technology-based innovation remain wide open. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other non-formal educational institutions in integrating Hindu teachings to develop the character of a young generation with morals and integrity.

Abstract

The development of digital media has significantly transformed patterns of religious literacy, including within the context of Hinduism. Religious websites no longer function merely as information platforms but have become discursive spaces that shape religious understanding, attitudes, and character formation. This study aims to analyze the management strategies of the melekHindu.com website in developing Hindu religious literacy in the digital era. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through literature review, non-participant observation, and in-depth interviews with the website manager, editor, and contributors. Data were analyzed using Norman Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis to examine the relationship between text, discursive practices, and social context. The findings indicate that value-based content management, editorial curation, and community participation play a crucial role in strengthening religious moderation and Hindu character education. The study concludes that melekHindu.com functions as a reflective and transformative digital literacy medium that supports the development of moderate, ethical, and contextually grounded Hindu religious understanding.

Abstract

Digital transformation in Hindu student organizations presents new challenges and opportunities, particularly in the context of organizational behavior. This study examines how the Indonesian Hindu Dharma Student Union (KMHDI), both at the Central Leadership (PP) and Bogor Branch Leadership (PC) levels, navigate these dynamics. The research focuses on the supporting and inhibiting factors of digital transformation that influence organizational communication and behavior. This study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with nine informants, including central and branch administrators, community leaders, and academics. Findings indicate that digital infrastructure support, the commitment of young, tech-savvy administrators, and the flexibility of digital platforms such as Zoom and WhatsApp are contributing factors to the transformation. However, limited digital literacy, resistance to change, lack of access to official central media, and minimal external support are key challenges. The information gap between the central and branch levels also impacts the spirit of cadre development and a sense of belonging to the organization. While digital transformation can increase efficiency, it also changes communication patterns and closeness among members. For organizational sustainability, KMHDI needs to align technology with a culture of camaraderie, strengthen digital literacy, and develop an inclusive, hybrid communication strategy. This research contributes to the development of a communication strategy for Hindu student organizations in navigating the digital era in an adaptive and sustainable manner.
