Abstract

This research was conducted in April 2018 and took place in the upper reaches of batang siak river, on the Sungai Tekuana, Tekuana Pendek, and Jamu Bualo. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the waters of the upstream part in Siak River according to its status and quality based on environmental quality standards, calculate the load capacity of the upstream part of the Siak River pollutants, and determine the pollutant input from the tributaries leading to the upstream body of the Siak River. Based on the results of research BOD parameters have passed the upstream capacity of the Siak river. For sampling point 2 about -1750.43 mg / sec, sampling point 5 about -4474.31 mg / sec, and tributary point 1 about -0.42355 mg / sec, while river storage data for other parameters such as COD and TSS are still good.

Abstract

ABSTRACT             This research was conducted in March to April 2019. The purpose of this research was to find out value of total suspended solid (TSS) content,value of phytoplankton abundance, and the relationship between the total suspended solid (TSS) and the abundance of phytoplankton. This research used survey method, there is arefour sampling stations with three replications in each station. The results showed, that the highest average of TSS contentin Padang Strait waters was found in Station 3 (241,33 mg/l) and the lowest in Station 4 (193,33 mg/l). The types of phytoplankton was found in Padang Strait waters was 14 types, they areBacillaria sp, Closterium sp, Coscinodiscus sp, Isthmia sp, Rhizosolenia sp, Synedra sp, Navicula sp, Skeletonema sp, Thalassionema sp, Oscillatoria sp, Nitzschia sp, Hantzschia sp, Amphora sp, and Pleurosigma sp with the most dominant types are Isthmia sp and Rhizosolenia sp. The highest abundance was found in aroundMangrove Area of Pangkalan Jambi Village (3247,59 ind/l) and the lowest was found inSungai Selari Port (1538,18 ind/l).Based on simple linear regression, the relationship ofTSS content with phytoplankton abundance showed a intense negative relationship, it means that the increasing of TSS content will decreasing abundance of phytoplankton in Padang Strait waters. Keywords:Padang Strait, TSS, Abundance of Phytoplankton

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilaksanakan dari bulan Oktober sampai November tahun 2017 yang berlokasi di perairan pantai Dumai Provinsi Riau. Pengolahan model dilakukan di Laboratorium Oseanografi Fisika Jurusan Ilmu Kelautan Fakultas Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Riau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola arus pasang surut kondisi surut perbani di Selat Rupat. Analisis simulasi arus menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan arus pada kondisi surut perbani berkisar 0,11-1,22 m/s. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada saat surut perbani, arus Selat Rupat bergerak menuju Selat Malaka melalui bagian barat dan timur Selat Rupat. Kondisi ini mempengaruhi distribusi sedimen di Selat Rupat. Kata kunci : Arus, Surut perbani, Selat Rupat

Abstract

This study aims to look at fluctuations in sea surface temperature and also the relationship between sea surface temperature and yellowfin tuna catches in West Waters, West Sumatra Province. The research method used is a survey method, namely collecting field data by conducting direct observations, as well as interviews with local fishermen and spatial analysis methods are used to obtain the distribution of sea surface temperatures. The results of this study indicate that the average sea surface temperature in 2019-2021 ranges from 26.99 - 31.21 oC, where the average maximum temperature ranges from 31.21 oC in March 2020 and the average minimum temperature ranges from 26, 99 oC in October 2019. The results of simple linear regression analysis show a correlation coefficient value of 0.857 and a coefficient of determination value of 0.756.

Abstract

Eco-hydraulic analyses begin with the arrangement of tributaries. This research aimed to minimize the discharge of flood run-off downstream and map the flood inundation by spatial analysis uses DEMNAS data and mapping of flood inundation areas using ArcGIS. Analysis of return period flood points using HEC-RAS version 5.0.7. The data needed is the cross section of the river, the distance between the sections, the Manning's roughness number, the return period flood discharge and the slope of the river. The integration between topographic maps, watersheds and flood water levels can display areas that are potentially affected by inundation floods, so that the flood inundation limits and flood inundation areas can be calculated. This research examined proper eco-hydraulics design so that it could reduce discharge, identify locations prone to flooding, and describe the magnitude of the flood impact quantitatively. The results eco-hydraulic method obtained the design border width of 100 m, the condition before the existing river border arrangement was carried out, the inundation height was 0.30 – 1.13 m and after the river border arrangement the discharge could be reduced to 113.09 – 209 m3/s and the inundation height is 0 – 0.31 m. Based on the research results, it is known that border arrangement can provide benefits for flood control measures.

Abstract

The practice of taqlid is part of the Islamic legal tradition which has an important role in maintaining legal consistency and stability during the classical period. However, in the context of modern times, the practice of taqlid faces various problems, such as legal rigidity, madhhab fanaticism, and excessive dependence on ulama. The subject of this research focuses on the nature and law of taqlid as well as the existence of taqlid and Islamic law in the contemporary era. This research uses a type of normative research, a qualitative approach with a literature review method that involves searching, collecting and in-depth analysis of various references from books and scientific journals. This reference specifically discusses reflections on ushul fiqh in the context of taqlid, including related issues. The results of the research show that taqlid is divided into two according to the ulama, there are those that are forbidden or not allowed and there are also those that are permitted. Because basically taqlid is haram, but we see a phenomenon in society, that not all people can perform ijtihad on their own, so scholars divide two types of taqlid, namely those that are forbidden and those that are obligatory. It is haram for people who are capable of ijtihad but obligatory for ordinary people. Therefore, there needs to be an effort to improve religious education that emphasizes the ijtihad method, as well as encouraging the renewal of Islamic law that is relevant to current developments. In this way, taqlid can be carried out in a moderate and balanced manner, while still opening up space for dynamic and contextual ijtihad.

Abstract

The Higher Education of Islamic Religious (PTKI) is expected to produce qualified graduates who are scientifically able to make a real contribution to Islam. This expectation is only possible if PTKI becomes a learning organization that makes the Qur'an its scientific base. The Study Programme of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the Faculty of Islamic Studies of Kutai Kartanegara University (FAI Unikarta) in its development applied the study of the Qur'an by entering the compulsory course of travel named Read Write Alquran (deacronized become BTQ). The learning result of the Qur'an for the students is able to give significantclues, especially to the students 'ability in reading the Qur'an, as well as the quality of the students' knowledge of the Qur'anic reading law as well as how to write it down. This paper seeks to provide an overview of Quran learning policies for student PTKI on PAI Study Program at FAI Unikarta. The reviews are descriptively used to provide information clearly related to the management of BTQ courses conducted by FAI Unikarta as a model in the application of Koranic learning that is done systematically and programmatically.

Abstract

Rabies is a deadly disease transmitted through animal bites, especially dogs, and is still a serious threat in Indonesia. As of April 2023, more than 31,000 bite cases have been recorded, with Southeast Sulawesi being the region with the highest cases. In Kendari City, data shows that bite cases have fluctuated since 2018. Research objectives: To develop a prediction model for rabies prevention measures to enforce an EWS in high school students in Kendari City. Research methods: Cross-sectional quantitative research, involving 350 students from three sub-districts (Baruga, Poasia, and Kadia) with independent variables in the form of knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs, and the dependent variable in the form of rabies prevention measures. Data were collected in February 2025 through a hybrid/online questionnaire. Research results: Knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs have a significant effect on rabies prevention measures in high school students in Kendari City. Knowledge is the most dominant factor (p = 0.000; Odds Ratio (B) = 8.747), followed by attitude (Odds Ratio (B) = 5.725) and belief (Odds Ratio (B) = 2.545). Students with good knowledge are 8.7 times more likely to take rabies prevention. If the three variables are at a low level, the probability of rabies prevention actions among students is 14.4%, but it increases significantly to 95.6% when all three variables are at a good level. Research Conclusion: There is a significant influence of knowledge, attitude, and belief on rabies prevention behavior to support the EWS among high school students in Kendari City in 2025. The probability of engaging in preventive behavior is 14.4% when all three variables are at a low level, but it increases significantly to 95.6% when all variables are at a high level. Knowledge contributes the most, while attitude and belief synergistically strengthen the overall effect.
