Abstract

Gagal ginjal Kronik merupakan gangguan fungsi ginjal dalam melakukan penyaringan tubuh. Penumpukan ureum ini akan menyebabkan rasa gatal yang dirasakan dikulit pasien gagal ginjal kronik dengan hemodialisa. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah gatal dikulit adalah dengan menerapkan penggunaan Virgin Coconut Oil yang dioleskan ke kulit untuk mengatasi masalah gatal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Virgin Coconut Oil terhadap gatal dikulit pasien gagal ginjal kronik dengan Hemodialisa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang sedang menjalani terapi Hemodialisa yang berjumlah 44 orang. Sampel pada penelitian ini ditentukan dengan perhitungan rumus slovin yaitu 15 responden. Desain penelitian menggunakan Quasi Eksperimen yaitu dengan rancangan pre test – post test dengan jumlah sampel berjumlah 15 responden. Uji Statistik yang digunakan adalah uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap penurunan rasa gatal yang dirasakan responden setelah intervensi dengan P –Value 0,001 hasil tersebut <0,05. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai terapi alternatif yang mengalami masalah kulit seperti rasa gatal dengan menggunakan Virgin Coconut Oil .

Abstract

Nowadays, modern lifestyle with food menu choices and unhealthy ways of life are increasingly spreading to all levels of society, causing an increase in the number of degenerative diseases, namely diseases that are not contagious but can be inherited. One of the degenerative diseases that require proper and serious treatment is diabetes mellitus (DM). According to reports from several places in Indonesia, the incidence and complications of DM is quite scattered so that it can be said to be one of the national problems that should receive more attention. The purpose of this service is to increase knowledge and awareness of the elderly about diabetes mellitus and the application of foot exercises to the elderly. The form of activity carried out was counseling on Diabetes Mellitus Foot Gymnastics for the Elderly at the Basilam Nursing Home. The counseling activity which was carried out went well by the elderly, the activity seemed enthusiastic in participating in the counseling activity about Diabetes Mellitus and the application of foot exercises for the elderly at Basilam Elderly Beach. This is evidenced by the enthusiasm of the elderly who carry out activities regularly and in an orderly manner as well as listening to counseling about Diabetes Mellitus and the application of Diabetes Mellitus Foot Exercise, sticking banners and photos together by the activity committee and the elderly.

Abstract

Corona virus or COVID-19, the case started with pneumonia or mysterious pneumonia in December 2019. This case is suspected to be related to the Huanan animal market in Wuhan which sells various types of animal meat, including those that are not commonly consumed, for example snakes, bats, and different types of mice. Many cases of this mysterious pneumonia infection are indeed found in these animal markets. The Corona virus or COVID-19 is thought to be carried by bats and other animals that are eaten by humans until transmission occurs. Corona virus is actually no stranger to the world of animal health, but only a few types are capable of infecting humans and causing pneumonia. The purpose of community service is to increase public knowledge and awareness about Covid-19 Information and Education. The form of activities carried out was counseling on Covid-19 Information and Education at LabuhanRasokiBaru Village in 2020. The extension activities carried out were going well by the community, the activity seemed enthusiastic in participating in counseling activities about Covid-19 information and education in LabuhanRasoki Village. This is evidenced by the enthusiasm of the community carrying out activities regularly and orderly as well as listening to counseling about Covid-19 information and education. And handwashing counseling activities, providing information and education on Covid-19, sticking banners and photos together by the activity committee and the community.

Abstract

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one indicator in determining the level of public health. Maternal deaths due to infection can be caused by several factors, including reproductive tract infections and sexually transmitted diseases such as Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Syphilis, and Hepatitis B. Prevention efforts for these diseases can begin while the baby is still in the womb through Triple Elimination screening. Triple Elimination aims to stop the transmission of HIV, Syphilis, and Hepatitis B from mother to child, reducing morbidity, disability, and mortality by conducting screenings for pregnant women. Prevalence rates in Indonesia for these three diseases indicate a risk of HIV transmission in pregnant women of 0.3%, syphilis infection in pregnant women of 1.7%, and hepatitis B infection in pregnant women of 2.5%. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women regarding triple elimination screening. The research method used was quantitative with a descriptive design. The study was conducted at the Hutaimbaru Community Health Center, involving all 52 pregnant women attending the center. The results showed that 26 respondents (50%) had poor knowledge regarding triple elimination screening, 14 respondents (26.9%) had sufficient knowledge, and 12 respondents (23.1%) had good knowledge. Therefore, the knowledge of pregnant women regarding triple elimination screening in Hutaimbaru Community Health Center is largely inadequate (50%). The results of this study recommend more creative outreach programs to encourage pregnant women to undergo triple elimination screening. Keywords : Knowledge, Triple Elimination, Pregnant Women
