Abstract

Pond farmers in Mattiro Sompe District turned their ponds into rice fields due to a decrease in crop yields, limited seawater availability for saltwater fulfillment in ponds because the estuary experienced siltation which caused ponds far from the estuary to experience. This study aims to identify the factors that affect the conversion of pond land into rice fields and evaluate their impact on the socio-economic conditions of the people of Mattiro Sompe District, Pinrang Regency. Using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS, it was found that more stable availability of irrigation water and decreased pond productivity were the main drivers of conversion. Economically, people's income increased significantly from an average of Rp8,500,000 to Rp25,855,000 after conversion, with conversion cost as the most influential variable (p = 0.000) and R² value of 0.799. Although there were no statistically significant social variables, land type had the highest contribution to social change (β = 0.316), with an R² of 0.783 indicating the strength of the model. These findings conclude that land conversion has a positive economic impact, but needs to be balanced with attention to social dynamics in the process of adaptation and management of community conflicts.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Litter production is very important in the transfer of organic matter from mangroves, undergoing a decomposition process into detritus as a contributor to water fertility and supporting the life of aquatic organisms. therefore, in-depth information is needed about the total litter production, the potential content of C, N, P, and K nutrients from litter is very important as a source of detritus as natural food and the cycle in litter production, and the nutrient cycle of the forest ecosystem. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential content of nutrients (C, N, P and K) from Rhizophora mucronata leaf litter in the Lantebung mangrove ecotourism area of ​​Makassar City. The method used is to take litter that has been collected in a 1 m x 1 m liter trap for 4 weeks (4 times sampling), after sampling the litter is taken to the chemical laboratory to analyze the elements C, N, P and K. Based on the results of research in the Lantebung mangrove ecotourism area of ​​Makassar City. The nutrient content is carbon (C) 19.49 tons/ha/year, nitrogen (N) 1.3 tons/ha/year, phosphorus (P) 0.26 tons/ha/year and potassium (K) 0.96 tons/ha/year. Kata kunci: mangrove, liter trap, nutriets,lantebung ABSTRAK Produksi serasah sangat penting dalam transfer bahan organik dari mangrove, mengalami proses dekomposisi menjadi detritus sebagai penyumbang kesuburan perairan dan menyokong kehidupan organisme akuatik. Olehnya itu, perlu informasi mendalam tentang total produksi serasah, potensi kandungan unsur hara C,N,P, Dan K dari serasah sangat penting sebagai sumber detritus sebagai pakan alami dan siklus dalam produksi serasah, dan siklus nutrisi ekosistem hutan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui potensi kandungan unsur hara ( C,N,P dan K) dari serasah daun Rhizophora mucronata di kawasan ekowisata mangrove lantebung kota makassar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengambilan guguran serasah yang sudah tertampung dalam liter trap yang berukuran 1 m x 1 m selama 4 minggu (4 kali pengambilan sampel), setelah pengambilan sampel guguran serasah dibawa ke Laboratorium kimia untuk menganalisis unsur C,N,P dan K. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di kawasan ekowisata mangrove lantebung kota makassar. Kandungan unsur hara yaitu karbon (C) 19,49 ton/ha/thn, nitrogen (N) 1,3 ton/ha/thn, fosfor (P) 0,26 ton/ha/thn dan kalium (K) 0,96 ton/ha/thn. Abstract

Hutan mangrove sangat penting adanya dalam pengelolaan sumber daya pesisir di sebagian besar wilayah Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai manfaat total ekonomi dari ekosistem mangrove di Dusun Luppung, Desa Manyampa, Kecamatan Ujungloe, Kabupaten Bulukumba. metode purposive sampling (teknik pengambilan sampel berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu, bukan secara acak) dengan melakukan observasi di lapangan dan wawancara secara langsung dengan responden, serta menggunkan kuisioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Kemudian data yang di peroleh dianalisis secara kuntitatif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yang di laksanakan di Desa Luppung Kecamatan Ujungloe Kabupaten Bulukumba adalah: pertama Total Economy Value (TEV) yang di hasilkan ekosistem mangrove yaitu sebesar Rp 140.970.653.000.- per tahun terdiri dari nilai manfaat langsung (direct use value) sebesar Rp 668.333.000, nilai manfaat tidak langsung (indirect use value) sebesar Rp 140.210.880.000, nilai pilihan (option Value) sebesar Rp 3.177.000, nilai keberadaan (existence value) sebesar Rp 21.430.000, dan nilai warisan (Bequest value) sebesar Rp 66.833.000/tahun.
