Abstract

This research aims to design a GPON-based Fiber to The Home (FTTH) line in the Citra Garden Puri cluster Denza . The method used is to carry out field observations, by conducting surveys to determine the need for equipment that will be used in designing the route. After the survey is conducted, this project requires Google Earth Pro software to do the mapping of the spot that is used for the ODP and to create passages for the fiber. To make sure that all planning already meets the requirement, there are several calculationdone in this research such as; link loss budget, power link budget, power margin and risetime budget. The distance that were used in the calculation are calculated from the STO Cengkareng until the ONT on each customer. Based on the calculation, the result of the biggest loss for link loss budget are obtained from the upstream, in the amount of 22,0456 dB and the loss from downstream are equals to 21,5721 dB. The result that obtained for the upstream loss of power link budget are equals to -17,0456 dBm and -16,5172 dBm for downstream. The next calculation is power margin, from this project we obtained the lowest power margin for the upstream 6,9544 dB and 7,4288 dB for downstream. The last calculation obtained for this project is rise time budget, from the calculation the shortest data for the rise time budget upstream is 0,1001 ns and for the downstream is 0,1019 ns. Based on all the calculation, this project can be concluded as a success because all the calculation are between the boundary that is tolerated by PT Telkom.

Abstract

Sorting goods based on the results of checking packaging labels is an important process in controlling production quality in industry. Many industries still carry out manual sorting and label checking processes, which results in low productivity levels and is susceptible to human error. This research develops an automation system for sorting goods based on label inspection using vision sensors, programmable logic controller (PLC), and robot arm. The system controlled by a PLC will read and detect damage to packaging labels by using VeriSens vision sensor and sort them using a robot arm according to predetermined stock keeping unit (SKU) categories, namely SKU 1, SKU 2, SKU 3, SKU 4, and rejected goods. The pneumatic system is used as an actuator to push goods onto the conveyor, moving the robot arm with three degrees of freedom and vacuum. Detection is carried out by applying the edge detection concept to read text, images and code that are reprocessed with the VeriSens Application Suite software. The success rate of the goods sorting system reached 90% with a reading speed of 0.389 seconds and a work process duration ranging from 21.54 seconds to 28.99 seconds.

Abstract

Budidaya lele di desa Sampora telah berkembang dan menghasilkan lele yang selain dijual juga dimanfaatkan untuk dijadikan lele asap maupun makanan siap saji. Kami Tim Pengmas Fakultas Teknik melakukan pendampingan Industri bagi ibu-ibu desa Sampora untuk memanfaatkan hasil budidaya lele tersebut. Salah satu olahan Lele adalah bakso lele yang nantinya akan dijual di warung pujasera yang disiapkan oleh BumDes. Pada masa pandemi ini Tim Pengmas mengalami kesulitan dalam hal pengasapan lele karena menghindari adanya kerumunan anak-anak yang sering terjadi saat pengasapan berlangsung. Untuk menghadapi masalah ini, maka kami berusaha tetap melakukan pendampingan kepada ibu-ibu desa Sampora dengan memanfaatkan lele segar yang diolah menjadi Bakso. Bakso ini dapat dijadikan bakso panggang maupun bakso kuah yang banyak diminati anak-anak , remaja, maupun orang dewasa. Pengolahan lele menjadi sup bakso lele disajikan dalam bentuk video dan dapat diakses secara online. Sedangkan hasil akhir diberikan kapada ibu ibu agar dapat mencicipi rasa sup bakso tersebut. Setelah pandemi berakhir, diharapkan sup bakso lele dapat dijual di warung Pujasera yang akan dikelola oleh BumDes.

Abstract

Cultivation of catfish carried out by the people of Sampora Village is certainly expected to improve the welfare of the community. It takes creativity from the community to increase the economic value of catfish through diversification of food products made from catfish, including catfish pempek. So far, people mostly use belida fish, mackerel or gabus fish as ingredients for pempek, but it turns out that catfish can also be processed into pempek because it has soft and white flesh like belida fish. Catfish besides containing high nutrition is also cheaper than other fish. If it can be producing quality catfish pempek, of course, catfish pempek can attract people to consume it because the price is more affordable. The final product of pempek is determined by its white color, elasticity, aroma and taste. There are several types of pempek that can be produced, namely pempek lenjer, pempek “keriting”, pempek “kapal selam” which contains eggs and can also be varied with sausage or cheese filling. The assistance carried out aims to equip the Sampora village community with the skills to process catfish into pempek so that it can be used as an alternative business.

Abstract

SMP Kristen Harapan Untuk Bangsa is located on Jl. Kebantenan I no 10, Cilincing, North Jakarta. According to Basic Education and Culture Data (DAPOKDIKBUD), this school has 9 teaching staff. This school is also equipped with one science and computer laboratory to support the teaching and learning process . Most of the students of SMPK Kristen Harapan Bagi Bangsa come from lower-middle economic families. This condition makes students from this school not easy to get the opportunity to take courses outside school hours, due to economic difficulties . For this reason, the role of the school is expected so that students from this school still have the opportunity to enrich knowledge through learning outside school hours, namely in the form of extra-curricular activities. In order for students to have the knowledge to be able to choose a Vocational High School that suits students' talents and interests, the school facilitates extracurricular activities of Basic Electronics training. In June 2023, the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya Catholic University held a community service program with the skills taught were component introduction, measuring instrument reading techniques and making LED light circuit modules. Soldering training and making Light Emitting Diode modules were conducted for 3 days. From the results of the questionnaire, it can be seen that students are enthusiastic and claim to have gained knowledge from this training.

Abstract

The right schedule for taking medication according to the frequency given by the doctor is one of the success factors of the treatment process. However, due to the patient's busy schedule and physical limitations of the patient as well as in the case of the elderly who are unable to carry out their normal activities, it is necessary to remind them to take medication regularly according to the doctor's prescription. The research method uses the waterfall model, which was developed by Pressman. The alarm system in this medicine storage box is designed to dispense medicine and sound an alarm at a predetermined time. Users only need to enter the medicine to be consumed by setting the frequency and time of the alarm. This system uses a real-time clock connected to the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The system data input comes from the matrix keypad to enter the alarm time and the light sensor to detect the presence of medicine. The output of the microcontroller controls the buzzer as an alarm and the solenoid valve to open the box containing the medicine to be taken at a pre-programmed time. From the test results obtained that the device can dispense medicine according to the frequency and time of the alarm that has been determined by the user. Keywords: alarm; medicine storage box; Arduino Uno; real time clock Abstrak Jadwal minum obat yang tepat sesuai frekuensi yang diberikan dokter merupakan salah satu faktor keberhasilan dari proses pengobatan. Namun karena kesibukan dan keterbatasan fisik pasien maupun pada kasus lansia yang sudah tidak dapat beraktivitas secara normal, diperlukan pengingat waktu minum obat secara rutin sesuai resep dokter. Metode penelitian menggunakan model waterfall, yang dikembangkan oleh Pressman. Sistem alarm pada kotak obat ini dirancang untuk mengeluarkan obat dan membunyikan alarm pada waktu yang telah ditentukan.  Pengguna hanya perlu memasukkan obat yang akan dikonsumsi dengan mengatur frekuensi dan waktu alarm. Sistem ini menggunakan real time clock yang terhubung ke mikrokontroler Arduino Uno. Masukan data sistem berasal dari keypad matrix untuk memasukkan waktu alarm dan sensor cahaya untuk mendeteksi adanya obat. Keluaran mikrokontroler mengendalikan buzzer sebagai alarm dan katup solenoida untuk membuka kotak yang berisi obat yang akan diminum pada waktu yang telah diprogram sebelumnya. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh bahwa alat dapat mengeluarkan obat sesuai dengan frekuensi dan waktu alarm yang telah ditentukan oleh pengguna.

Abstract

Rendahnya kesiapsiagaan mahasiswa terhadap situasi darurat kebakaran di lingkungan kampus merupakan masalah yang signifikan, terutama karena kurangnya pelatihan formal dan pemahaman terkait protokol keselamatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan game simulasi kebakaran berbasis teknologi yang dirancang untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa dalam menghadapi situasi darurat kebakaran. Pengembangan dilakukan dengan metode Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), game ini berfokus pada jalur evakuasi, lokasi alat pemadam api ringan (APAR), dan skenario kebakaran yang realistis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa fitur game berfungsi optimal, dan 30 mahasiswa yang menjadi responden memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap aspek pembelajaran, interaksi, visualisasi, dan relevansi peristiwa dalam game dengan dunia nyata. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa game simulasi yang dikembangkan tidak hanya memberikan pengalaman imersif tetapi juga mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapsiagaan mahasiswa terhadap situasi darurat kebakaran. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam pengembangan metode pembelajaran interaktif untuk manajemen resiko bencana di kebakaran di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

Plant cultivation process is an important component in creating optimal harvest results. Those results can be affected by both air temperature and humidity in the plant’s environment. Traditional method for monitoring and controlling temperature and humidity consume a lot of time and energy. This Wemos D1 and ThingSpeak equipped monitoring and controlling system was made in order to make those works easier. The system uses air temperature and humidity sensor which will perform reading to the environment’s condition. Datas collected from the reading progress will be forwarded by Wemos D1 to ThingSpeak so it can be observed by users. Exhaust fan and mist maker will be used as controlling components for the environment. This system is expected to help in developing plant cultivation techniques.

Abstract

The Electrical Engineering study program of the Faculty of Engineering, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia has been collaborating with Harapan Bagi Bangsa Christian Middle School, Cilincing, North Jakarta for several years in an extracurricular program for junior high school students, as a form of community service from Electrical Engineering lecturers. The extracurricular activity program implemented is in the form of basic electronics training. The theme of the activity varies, according to the requests and needs of the partner schools. The first activity is to provide basic electronics skills training to students. This program received a very positive response from teachers and students. From the evaluation results of previous activities, all students wanted training activities with advanced materials. The training provided is an introduction to basic Arduino Uno microcontrollers using Tinkercad simulation software. The purpose of this activity is to conduct training on the introduction and how to program the Arduino Uno microcontroller to turn on Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs). The training was carried out at Harapan Bagi Bangsa Christian Middle School. The training began by assembling the resistor and LED components on the project board. After all the components were installed, an Arduino Uno microcontroller program was created to turn on the LEDs alternately according to the order of the program created. The training used Tinkercad simulation software and the Arduino Uno microcontroller board. From the results of the student evaluation, 92.2% of students gave good and excellent ratings, while 7.8% gave neutral ratings for this training.

Abstract

Turtles are protected animals because of the emergency of extinction by a lot of conservation of turtle cultivation to increase its population. It is unavoidable if there are still many population reductions from turtles, one of which comes from the low survival rate of baby turtles called hatchlings. The process of laying eggs for female turtles requires warm beach sand to cover their eggs and this occurs at night when the moon is dark. After about two months the eggs will hatch, and the hatchlings usually go straight to the sea. There are many disturbances experienced by hatchlings to get to the sea such as being kidnapped, being preyed upon, and not even going to the sea. Improvements in conservation facilities are made to provide an incubator which are always kept warm by being provided with a bulb as a heater, a thermostat as a temperature regulator and a humidifier as a humidity regulator. After hatching the eggs are placed in a replacement pond which was built as a hatchling pond for temporary shelter for the newly hatched hatchlings, and the pond is placed in a cleaned hatchery room with the roof replaced with a mild steel frame The result of the upgrade from this facility is that hatchling success has increased to 91%, and newly hatched hatchlings can be closely monitored until they are ready to be released into the sea. It is hoped that the turtle population in the world can be maintained so that our children and grandchildren will be able to see the turtles directly. Penyu merupakan hewan yang dilindungi karena darurat akan kepunahannya. Sudah banyak konservasi budidaya penyu untuk meningkatkan populasi penyu. Tetapi tidak dapat dihindari jika masih banyak pengurangan populasi dari penyu, yang salah satunya berasal dari rendahnya tingkat keberhasilan hidup dari bayi penyu yang disebut tukik. Proses bertelur penyu betina memerlukan pasir pantai yang hangat untuk menutupi telur-telurnya dan hal ini terladi pada malam hari saat bulan gelap. Setelah sekitar dua bulan telur akan menetas dan tukik biasanya langsung berjalan menuju ke laut. Banyak gangguan yang dialami oleh tukik untuk bisa sampai ke laut seperti diculik, dimangsa, dan bahkan tidak menuju ke laut. Peningkatan fasilitas konservasi yang dibuat menyediakan ruang inkubator yang senantiasa dipertahankan hangat dengan diberi bohlam sebagai penghangat, thermostat sebagai pengatur suhu dan humidifier sebagai pengatut kelembaban. Setelah telur menetas ditempatkan di kolam pengganti yang dibangun sebagai kolam tukik untuk penampungan sementara bagi tukik yang baru menetas, dan kolam diletakkan dalam ruang tukik yang sudah dibersihkan dengan atap diganti dengan rangka baja ringan. Hasil dari peningkatan dari fasilitas ini adalah keberhasilan penetasan tukik meningkat menjadi 91 %, dan tukik yang baru menetas dapat diawasi dengan seksama sampai siap dilepas ke laut. Diharapkan populasi penyu yang ada di dunia dapat terjaga hingga anak cucu kita nanti dapat melihat langsung penyu yang ada.
