Abstract

Jalan Jendral Sudirman Kecamatan Randudongkal, Kabupaten Pemalangmerupakan jalan utama yang menghubungan antara Kecamatan Randudongkal dan Kecamatan Moga. Setiap harinya lalu lintas yang ada pada ruas jalan tersebut selalu padat, hal itulah yang mengakibatkan pada ruas jalan tersebut sering mengalami kerusakan.Maka dari itu perlu adanya perencanaan perkerasan jalan yang sesuai dengan metode perencanaan yang ada. Dalam penelitian ini akan merencanakan dan membandingkan antara metode Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan 2017 dan metode Analisa Komponen 1987 pada ruas jalan tersebut untuk menentukan metode yang paling efisien. Berdasarkan perhitungan metode Manual Desain Perkerasan Jalan 2017 diperoleh tebal perkerasan lentur AC-WC tebal 4 cm, AC-BC tebal 6 cm, AC-Base tebal 7,5 cm, CTB tebal 15 cm dan LPA Kelas A  tebal 15 cm dengan biaya Rp 4.848.240.000 pada Jalur Moga-Randudongkal dan Rp 4.652.712.000 pada jalur Randudongkal-Moga. Berdasarkan perhitungan metode Analisa Komponen 1987 diperoleh tebal perkerasan lentur pada Jalur Moga-Randudongkal menggunakan AC-WC tebal 4 cm, AC-BC tebal 6 cm, AC-Base tebal 7,5 cm dan Batu Pecah Kelas A tebal 24 cm dengan biaya Rp.4.357.625.00, dan pada jalur Randudongkal-Moga menggunakan AC-WC tebal 4 cm, AC-BC tebal 6 cm, AC-Base tebal 7,5 cm dan Batu Pecah Kelas A tebal 15 cm dengan biaya Rp.3.989.819.000.

Abstract

This research aims to design a GPON-based Fiber to The Home (FTTH) line in the Citra Garden Puri cluster Denza . The method used is to carry out field observations, by conducting surveys to determine the need for equipment that will be used in designing the route. After the survey is conducted, this project requires Google Earth Pro software to do the mapping of the spot that is used for the ODP and to create passages for the fiber. To make sure that all planning already meets the requirement, there are several calculationdone in this research such as; link loss budget, power link budget, power margin and risetime budget. The distance that were used in the calculation are calculated from the STO Cengkareng until the ONT on each customer. Based on the calculation, the result of the biggest loss for link loss budget are obtained from the upstream, in the amount of 22,0456 dB and the loss from downstream are equals to 21,5721 dB. The result that obtained for the upstream loss of power link budget are equals to -17,0456 dBm and -16,5172 dBm for downstream. The next calculation is power margin, from this project we obtained the lowest power margin for the upstream 6,9544 dB and 7,4288 dB for downstream. The last calculation obtained for this project is rise time budget, from the calculation the shortest data for the rise time budget upstream is 0,1001 ns and for the downstream is 0,1019 ns. Based on all the calculation, this project can be concluded as a success because all the calculation are between the boundary that is tolerated by PT Telkom.

Abstract

In the present era, machine intelligence, also known as Artificial Intelligence (AI), is demanded not only to execute specific commands but also to recognize, analyze, or even make decisions, thereby providing desired outputs. By harnessing the power of AI, it is anticipated that desired outcomes will be more accurate and goal achievement will be optimized, minimizing losses. With the capabilities of AI in mind, a research study has been conducted on AI's ability to analyze and make decisions based on specific data. In this study, data in the form of images of men and women were utilized. The objective of this research is to analyze the ability of AI, particularly in gender classification. The method employed in designing this system is Deep Learning, with GoogLeNet as the Convolutional Neural Network utilized. In testing, the data accuracy ranged from 61.8% to 100% for the system without training algorithm options and from 97.5% to 100% for the system with training algorithm options. Testing was also carried out on a smaller set of training data and grayscale images, yielding lower accuracy ranges. From this research, it can be concluded that the quantity of training data, image preprocessing, and training algorithm options are crucial indicators for enhancing prediction accuracy.

Abstract

The development of the internet of things (IoT) creates many new innovations in the industrial sector aimed at increasing effectiveness. One of them is to monitor the condition of industrial process machines remotely as discussed in this study. This monitoring can be done using a device connected to the internet. The design of this system requires a microcontroller with an ESP32 wifi module as a data receiver and sender. The data sent is data from the temperature sensor. The data is in the form of simulation data generated from the program and has a random number. Machine-to- server data communication uses the Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) protocol. The entire machine-to-server, server-to-server communication system will be carried out in the cloud using a cloud computing platform, namely Amazon Web Services (AWS). The test results show that the payload and temperature data sent from the microcontroller can be stored in the database. To see the reliability of the system, two Normal and Stress Tests were carried out, with a success percentage of 100% fo r data storage to the database on two tests and 16.67% failure in sending data on the Stress Test. The two tests were arranged under different conditions.

Abstract

This paper discusses the application of the Orange Data Mining application to compare several machine learning algorithms for classifying vehicle types in digital ticket systems. This research compares and analyzes the logistic regression algorithm, Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Neural Network (NN) to solve vehicle classification problems in digital traffic tickets. The research results show that in the training process and based on the dataset used, the algorithms that have the highest level of accuracy are Logistic Regression, Neural Network and Support Vector Machine. Meanwhile, during the testing process, all algorithms in the model were able to carry out classification with 100% accuracy

Abstract

Ponggang Village is located in Serangpanjang District, Subang Regency, West Java. There is a natural beauty in Ponggang Village that is not yet known by many people, namely Curug Ponggang with its natural beauty and soothing atmosphere. To get to Curug Ponggang, there is only one main road access. However, the problem is that there are no lighting facilities on the road access with a road length of 700 meters and a road width of 1.2 meters so that with slippery and steep road access conditions, high vigilance is needed when crossing this road, especially at night or at night. foggy. Therefore, this study aims to examine the planning for the construction of Solar Street Lighting (PJUTS) on the Ponggang Curug access road to improve the comfort and safety of road users. There are 4 alternative concepts, where one selected alternative provides a total PJUTS budget plan for 15 years. The chosen alternative concept uses a PJU lamp post with one arm using a 50W LED Solar Light Model GW8833 lamp. Based on the research that has been done, it takes as many as 22 light points with each lamp post 33 meters apart and the pole height is 3 meters. It is hoped that the construction of these lamps can improve the quality of effective and efficient lighting in Curug Ponggang

Abstract

Community service activities organized by the Faculty of Engineering at Unika Atma Jaya with the theme of providing basic electronics skills to junior high schools (SMP) at SMP Kristen Harapan untuk Bangsa Cilincing, North Jakarta have been held 2 (two) times. This program received a positive response from teachers and students in grade 1 of junior high school. In previous activities, teachers had not been involved in the process, so that program continuity could not be implemented routinely in schools. Therefore, in this PKM activity, basic electronics training will be focused on teachers. The aim of this training is to provide training for teachers so that in the future SMP Kristen Harapan untuk Bangsa can organize extracurricular programs regarding the basics of electronics. In this training, teachers receive training using the TinkerCad simulation program, which is a simulation program for assembling electronic circuits. The teachers also had the opportunity to assemble a series of simulation results of running lights and microcontrollers on the project board. Based on the feedback, teachers from different educational backgrounds were able to assemble and run a series of simulation results. It is hoped that in the future teachers can provide this training to their students.

Abstract

Pada Juni 2019, prodi Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Unika Atma Jaya telah menyelenggarakan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan tema memberi pembekalan tangan keterampilan dasar elektronika kepada SMP Kristen Harapan bagi Bangsa di Cilincing Jakarta Utara. Program ini mendapatkan tanggapan yang positif dari guru dan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan sebelumnya, seluruh siswa (100%) ingin kegiatan ini diadakan lagi dengan materi lanjutan. Pada kegiatan sebelumnya guru belum dilibatkan dalam proses, sehingga keberlanjutan program tidak dapat dilaksanakan secara rutin di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, pada program ini, selain melanjutkan pelatihan kepada siswa kelas VIII, guru juga dilibatkan dalam pembekalan untuk menyelenggarakan program ekstrakurikuler mengenai dasar elektronika selanjutnya. Pelatihan elektronika yang akan dilaksanakan pada pengabdian masyarakat ini difokuskan untuk siswa kelas VIII dan meliputi materi membuat PCB, pengenalan project board, pengenalan komponen elektronika dan fungsi-fungsinya. Pada tahapan ini peserta sudah mampu membuat rangkaian sederhana, membuat prototipe rangkaian elektronika menggunakan project board dan diimplementasikan dalam electronic kit. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat melengkapi keterampilan siswa dan guru dalam bidang elektronika sehingga siap dalam menghadapi kemajuan teknologi, khususnya di bidang Teknik Elektro

Abstract

Pelton turbine have been used for harvesting renewable energy by extracting kineticenergy of water into mechanical energy for more than 100 years. This characteristic makes thissystem remains potential to achieve Goals #12 SDGs. During the operation, the performance ofPelton Turbine is affected by several parameters: hydraulic power, water flow rate, bucketdesign, and nozzle. Among others, nozzle design is the most challenging since this part isresponsible to drive the water direction strike the buckets, converting impulse. The performanceof existing 1 kW Pelton Turbine equipped with 15mm Spear Nozzle is believed can be improvedby varying the nozzle diameter by using low-cost CFD simulation procedure. Ansys Fluent fromAnsys Student 2021 R1 is used in this research. Represented by two-buckets facing spear nozzle,three dimensional CFD simulation is conducted. The nozzle diameter is varied to 15 mm, 14 mm,and 13 mm from two configurations. The first and second configuration is done with water flowrate 3,3 kg/s and 1,3 kg/s respectively. The results show that 15 mm nozzle diameter can producehigher power as high as 594,08 Watt with the first configuration. Even though at the secondconfiguration this 15mm nozzle diameter did not produce the highest power, other parameterssuch as splashing water and erosion effect still show that the 15mm nozzle diameter performedbetter than others. This simulation results also consistent with experimental results whichperformed by using first configuration and 15mm nozzle diameter. The results also show that thesistem performance is much higher at higher water flow rates. Therefore, the development of thesystem can be continued to by using spear nozzle with diameter higher than 15mm.
