Abstract

Pemilih pemula dari kalangan Generasi Z menjadi segmen strategis dalam kontestasi politik Pemilu 2024. Sebagai generasi digital yang lahir dan tumbuh di era teknologi informasi, pola pikir dan perilaku politik mereka cenderung berbeda dibandingkan generasi sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana persepsi pemilih pemula terhadap para politikus peserta Pemilu 2024 terbentuk dan bagaimana persepsi tersebut memengaruhi kecenderungan perilaku memilih mereka. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam kepada sejumlah pemilih pemula di usia 17–23 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi terhadap politikus banyak dipengaruhi oleh faktor personal branding di media sosial, integritas yang ditampilkan, serta isu-isu yang relevan dengan kehidupan generasi muda seperti pendidikan, lapangan kerja, dan lingkungan. Selain itu, sikap skeptis terhadap politik tradisional juga memengaruhi selektivitas dalam menerima informasi politik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa persepsi pemilih pemula bukan hanya terbentuk dari faktor rasional, tetapi juga emosional dan nilai-nilai identitas generasi. Temuan ini penting untuk menjadi perhatian para politikus dan partai politik dalam merumuskan strategi komunikasi politik yang inklusif dan relevan terhadap generasi masa depan..

Abstract

Facebook provides users comfort in communicating even though they cannot see expressions or any other nonverbal signs, which have been an essential factor in supporting face-to-face communication. Therefore, this research is necessary because the absence of nonverbal communication, especially facial expression, touching, and gesture, renders the communication process between individuals ineffective and uncomfortable, as it was when people first used email to communicate via the internet. Through the study of Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC) perspectives, nonverbal communication, Social Presence Theory and Lack of Social Context Cues theory, this paper will discuss forms of nonverbal communication in the digital era. This study is based on research conducted by researchers using the netnography method and carried out through literature studies. The research was conducted on the Muslim community Bening Society on Facebook because the communication between them is very intense, as required in netnography. The loss of nonverbal communication in interpersonal communication does not, in fact, reduce netizens comfort in communicating and interacting. The emergence of digital emoticons and nonverbals is a substitute for nonverbal communication because digital emoticon and nonverbal functions in mediated interpersonal communication are the same as nonverbal communication.

Abstract

The use of social media as a platform for disseminating educational content is steadily increasing, including in the realm of Islamic-based sexual education. One such active account is @taulebih.id on Instagram, which consistently shares content on sexual education from an Islamic perspective. This study aims to explore the themes of Islamic-based sexual education presented by the account over six months, from September 2024 to February 2025, analyzing a total of 137 posts. Employing a quantitative content analysis method, this research uses a coding sheet to examine the characteristics of messages based on categorized sexual education themes. The results show that among the six predefined thematic categories, the Physical Biological category emerged as the most frequently featured, representing 26% of the analyzed content, indicating the account’s emphasis on foundational knowledge of the human body. Meanwhile, content under the Islamic Principles and Values category consistently achieved high and stable engagement, suggesting tha audiences strongly receptive to messages framed within Islamic values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis bagaimana media online CNN Indonesia dalam melakukan framing terhadap pemberitaan Tiktoker Kritik Pemerintah Lampung pada Periode April 2023. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis framing model Zhongdan Pan dan Gerald M. Kosicki. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Kontruksi Realitas Sosial dan Teori Agenda Setting. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa media online CNN Indonesia menujukkan bahwa media ini menggunakan gaya pemberitaan yang objektif dan tidak menyudutkan dalam memberikan penilaian atau komentar tentang Tiktoker Bima. Media online CNN Indonesia memengaruhi publik agar memperhatikan dan menganggap penting isu-isu yang dipilih dan disajikan oleh media tersebut, serta membentuk opini dan sikap publik terhadap isu-isu. Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the Palembang population, which consists of ethnic Chinese, Arabs, Javanese, and Malays. Cultural civilization occurs in Kuto Batu Village, also known as Pasar Kuto, inhabited by ethnic Palembang, Ayyeb, and Chinese ethnic. Conditions, nature, culture, religion, and social changes surrounding them are all mentioned in constructing reality. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research methodology, with data collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. Wong Ayyeb and Wong Palembang are community leaders who participated in this research. Data analysis in research includes data reduction, data display (presentation of data), and verification (concluding) which involves continuous verification activities during the study, namely since arriving at the research location, during data collection, and during the preparation of research results. The researchers used triangulation as an evaluation approach to determine the correctness of the data. Research findings regarding the process of interaction and communication, the residents of Kuto Batu Village cannot be limited by an identity that clearly distinguishes one culture from another. The urge to communicate is not limited to people who share the same cultural identity; however, the nature and extent of communication changed. Coexistence for decades resulted in many cultures assimilating and adapting into the two ethnicities' everyday lives. Recommendations in research the need for religious understanding of customs and culture in social rituals.

Abstract

Reporting on online media in the political year creates momentum to highlight political interests. One of the news stories that is an important and current focus is the case of the dirty vote documentary film. The method that will be used in this research is framing analysis using the theoretical device model of Zhongdang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki. The results of the research reveal that in writing news related to the dirty vote film on iNews.id and viva.co.id there are several differences and similarities in framing the news writing. In the syntactic aspect of the iNews.id media, writing framing news with words that have a peaceful nuance does not trigger the reader's annoyance. Meanwhile, at viva.co.id, when writing headlines, they use words that show the problem in the writing and use interrogative sentences as headlines. In the script aspect, both media fulfill the 5W + 1H rule in writing their news. In the thematic aspect, in general, the writing of sentences in conveying news in the two media is related to each other and does not have a fixed number of paragraphs in each news. In the rhetorical aspect, viva.co.id uses more metaphors and words with negative connotations or that cause a response from the reader. Meanwhile, iNews.id is more inclined towards conveying positive sentences related to this news.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the marketing communication strategy of PT. Lakone Serasa Champion on Instagram to increase brand awareness. This research is included in qualitative research, which is an important effort related to asking questions, through procedures, collecting specific data from informants. The circular model of some theory related to share, optimize, manage, and engage is used as an analytical theory. This research found that (1) PT. Lakone Serasa Juara uses a communication strategy through the use of advertising features on its social media. Using advertising features and paying a fee on each social media platform will have an effect on product recognition and sales; (2) PT. Lakone holds an annual event and also discounts for the winners; and (3) communication strategy through uploading photos and videos on online media by uploading photos and images in real pictures and of course having good image quality will attract consumers' interest in buying.

Abstract

Perkembangan media baru menjadi suatu kemudahan bagi para penggunanya.Menurut McQuail dalam Ahmadi (2020), "media baru" adalah media berbasis teknologi canggih yang memungkinkan komunikasi dua arah melalui internet, seperti YouTube. Podcast BBK di kanal YouTube @wkwkprojectbygenflix dikenal karena kontennya yang menghibur namun sering memuat humor seksis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa podcast ini kerap menjadikan perempuan sebagai objek lelucon dan memperkuat stereotip gender dalam masyarakat. Serta banyak ditemukan pelabelan gender yang membentuk suatu stereotip tentang sikap serta perilaku laki-laki dan perempuan yang dianut di masyarakat sosial.

Abstract

Feminisme menjadi suatu kajian sosial yang tidak pernah berhenti dibicarakan oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Tidak jarang feminisme dipandang dengan perspektif negatif, terutama jika dilihat melalui perspektif Islam. Kalis Mardiasih melalui Instagramnya hadir sebagai sosok perempuan yang dengan vokal menyuarakan isu feminisme bahkan mengkajinya dengan pandangan Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melihat bagaimana resepsi khalayak terhadap konstruksi feminisme dalam akun Instagram @kalis.mardiasih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teori analisis resepsi oleh Stuart Hall. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui wawancara secara mendalam dengan enam informan yang memiliki perbedaan latar belakang usia, pendidikan, domisili dan gender pada masing-masing individu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konstruksi feminisme yang dibangun Kalis Mardiasih melalui Instagramnya memberikan dampak pada perubahan pola pikir informan dalam memandang persoalan feminisme serta menambah wawasan seputar isu perempuan. Teori Encoding-decoding oleh Stuart Hall menempatkan tiga informan berada pada posisi dominant-hegemonic, dua informan berada pada posisi negotiated dan satu informan pada posisi oppositional code.
