Abstract

This development study is aimed to develop a model of training for sociology teacher using inquiry based on local culture. It is done through some steps which are recognizing the potential and problems, formulating a design, composing and performing device validation. Based on the research has resulted a module of training for inquiry learning based on local culture validated and revised by experts. The module is ready to use for training to improve teachers’ competence. The plannings done before training are determining training needs through analyzing the needs of the organization deciding a training program,composing an initial assessment and end of the craft success criteria for training.The implementation of training development about inquiry based on local culture for sociology teachers is emphasized in making lesson plan containing characters value in Sociology. Monitoring and evaluation for quality assessment done by filling out the questionnaire by the trainees so that they are able to know the response to the committee and speakers. While the evaluation of trainees can be done through tests and assignment of making learning about inkuiri RPP based on local culture.

Abstract

Abstract

Dengan ketersediaan sumber daya kebahasaan dan sistem Pengolahan Bahasa Alami yang sudah dikembangkan sebelumnya, kegiatan-kegiatan kerekayasaan Teknologi Bahasa BPPT melakukan pengembangan sebuah aplikasi penerjemah wicara-ke-wicara untuk dua Bahasa (Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris) yang memanfaatkan layanan dari server pengenal wicara, mesin penerjemah, dan sintesis wicara. Aplikasi ini dikenal sebagai speech-to-speech translation (S2ST). Di makalah ini, kami deskripsikan rancangan aplikasi S2ST tersebut dengan fokus pengembangan pada aplikasi mobile android yang dapat melayani percakapan antara dua pengguna. Teknik-teknik yang diterapkan antara lain adalah WebSocket, RESTful service, JSON, dan OkHttp3.Keywords:  Penerjemah wicara ke wicara, S2ST, NLP, ASR, MT, TTS, WebSocket, RESTful Service.

Abstract

With the rapid development of technology at this time, the use of learning media is very necessary to support an interesting learning process and can motivate students to participate in learning. The aim of this research is to critically review the use of learning media, including the advantages of the media itself, the challenges faced and the prospects for using learning media in the future. The research method used is bibliometric analysis, utilizing machine learning to map data. This research consists of four stages of bibliometric analysis, namely: data collection using the Publish or Perish application, data processing, data mapping using machine learning, and mapping data analysis using the R programming language. Journal which is a reference published between two thousand nineteen and two thousand twenty three from the Google Scholar database. The search process uses the keyword learning media. The research results show that bibliometric analysis and mapping of 1000 publications using machine learning allows a deeper understanding of developments, trends and important aspects of research in the field of learning media. By using a bibliometric analysis approach and applying machine learning, this research contributes to the development of the use of technology in implementing learning media.

Abstract

Indonesia is an area prone to earthquakes. Earthquakes can cause infrastructure damage and casualties. Efforts are needed to reduce the risk of earthquake hazards by strengthening earthquake-resistant infrastructure. The design procedures for earthquake-resistant buildings are carried out using a performance-based design approach. Building performance can be estimated through non-linear static pushover analysis. This research takes a case study in Jongke Market, Surakarta. This research aims to determine the capacity curve, performance level, and structure collapse mechanism. The method used is pushover analysis with the capacity spectrum. The result of this analysis is a capacity curve that processed to determine the level of structure performance referring to the drift ratio limitation table in the Applied Technology Council (ATC-40). Based on the results of this research, displacement that occurred in the x direction is 92 mm and in the y direction is 77 mm. Building displacement is good because the displacement that occurred is smaller than the displacement limit (control). The total maximum drift in the x direction is 0.007 and in the y direction is 0.006. The maximum inelastic total drift in the x direction is 0.005 and in the y direction is 0.004. Based on the drift ratio limitation table in the ATC-40 document, this building has an immediate occupancy performance level. Based on the plastic hinge mechanism formed, the existing structure also meets the ideal collapse concept (strong column-weak beam).

Abstract

Slope instability is caused by several lithological and structural factors, slope geometry, relative relief, ground water, as well as changes in use and land cover. Mountainous areas, development and expansion of infrastructure networks can inadvertently cause natural slope shifts, thereby negatively impacting the stability of the excavated slope. Analysis of the geotechnical properties of soil and rock is important for understanding and predicting the possibility of landslides at certain locations. Geotechnical analysis is needed to carry out slope stability analysis which is carried out using GEO5 software. Construction of T/L 150 KV GI Kambang – GI Tapan, Tower TW. 203 with a tower structure at the top of the slope. Based on these conditions, a comprehensive study is needed to analyze the stability of natural slopes due to tower loads. Soil Type, Parameters c' and ?' (Drained), Parameters Cu and ? (Undrained) and soil properties index are based on CPT test results. The Bishop, Spencer, Janbu and Morgenstern-Price methods on natural slopes, tower loads, Natural with Tower+Pile Loads, Natural Slopes with Tower+Pile Loads, Earthquake Loads produce a safe condition against failure in Short-Term (Construction) and Long-Term conditions. Term (Operational). Analysis of the Fellenius method on natural slopes and tower loads in Short-Term (Construction) and Long-Term (Operational) conditions shows unsafe conditions. The safety factors resulting from the Bishop, Spencer, Janbu and Morgenstern-Price methods do not show significant differences in values.

Abstract

This paper introduces SPWPM, an automatic speech recognition (ASR) system designed specifically for Indonesian medical dictation. The main objective of SPWPM is to assist medical professionals in producing medical reports and diagnosing patients. Deployed within a cloud computing service architecture, SPWPM strives to achieve a minimum speech recognition accuracy of 95%. The ASR model of SPWPM is developed using Kaldi and PyChain technologies—creating a comprehensive training dataset involving collaboration with PT Dua-Empat-Tujuh and Harapan Kita Hospital. Several optimization techniques were applied, including language modeling with smoothing, lexicon generation using the Grapheme-to-Phoneme Converter, and data augmentation. The readiness of this technology to assist hospital users was assessed through two evaluations: the SPWPM architecture test and the SPWPM speech recognition test. The results demonstrate the system's preparedness in accurately transcribing medical dictation, showcasing its potential to enhance medical reporting for healthcare professionals in hospital environments.

Abstract

In the 21st century, a paramount emphasis lies on the education of the 21st century and the cultivation of multifaceted skills that bolster students in acclimating to dynamic transformations. A pivotal trajectory in educational paradigms manifests through the amalgamation of technology and the adoption of digital pedagogical methodologies. The transition towards this technological integration is propelled by the imperative to assimilate 21st-century proficiencies, fortifying students for an ever-evolving technological milieu. Concurrently, there is an accentuation on honing students' faculties of critical reasoning and amplifying scientific acumen. Character education assumes a centrality, underscoring its resonance with the perspectives of students navigating the complexities of the 21st century. Moreover, 21st-century education encompasses the advocacy for innovative aptitudes and entrepreneurial prowess. Abstract

Concrete as the basic material of the structure in the construction of buildings is composed of hardening a certain mixture of water, cement, and aggregate. Concrete material is familiar in the field of Civil Engineering, because almost every building uses concrete as the main structure and complement, be it bridges, water buildings, or buildings. Because concrete is a composite material, the quality of concrete depends on each of the forming materials (Tjokrodimuljo. K,1996). This study used fly ash and steel slag added materials. In this study using an experimental method that aims to determine the effect of adding fly ash and steel slag levels with a percentage of fly ash 10% and steel slag 20%, fly ash 20% and steel slag 10% from the use of cement and fine aggregates and using conventional concrete as a comparison , and the cement water factor is determined to be the same in all variations, which is 0.45. Until thel used is cylindrical (d = 15cm; h = 30cm), the quality of concrete is planned to be 20 MPa. The number of samples is 18 pieces, each variation consists of 6 pieces tol, 3 samples for concrete compressive strength aged 7 days and 3 samples for concrete compressive strength aged 28 days. In the slump test, there was a reduction in the slump value, which was 12 cm for conventional concrete, 11 cm for variation I concrete mixture and 8 cm for variation 2 concrete mixture. The results of the compressive strength test showed an increase in maximum compressive strength at the age of 7 & 28 days with a percentage of fly ash 20% and steel slag 10% which was 19.91 MPa & 29.82 MPa and the lowest compressive strength occurred in conventional concrete, which was 16.32 MPa at the age of 7 days and 25.19 Mpa at the age of 28 days.
