Abstract

Intisari. Intisari. Musik klasik merupakan musik yang memiliki kualitas tinggi, memiliki keindahan yang estetik dalam harmonisasi lagu. Musik klasik juga merupakan musik yang rumit dan kompleks, sehingga untuk memahami musik tersebut memerlukan waktu yang lama karena banyak yang harus dipelajari dan didalami, maka dari itu di kalangan pendidikan musik formal, khsusnya para mahasiswa Pendidikan Seni Pertunjukan Universitas Lambung Mangkurat minat musik memiliki tingkat apresiasi yang berbeda terhadap musik klasik. Metode penelitian yang dipakai dalam penulisan ini yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan penelitian dalam penulisan ini yaitu tingkat apresiasi musik klasik di kalangan pendidikan musik lembaga formal di Banjarmasin. Hasil dari penelitian ini musik klasik di kalangan masyarakat pendidikan musik termasuk populer dan tingkat apresiasi musik klasik itu sendiri rata – rata sampai tahap mengamati dan menghayati belum sampai ditahap mengevaluasi maupun tahap mengapresiasi. Tingkat apresiasi juga mempengaruhi dalam mengukur kemampuan memahami musik klasik teruntuk mahasiswa/I pendidikan seni pertunjukan minat musik sangat berpotensi untuk mengajarkan dan mengembangkan ilmu yang di dapat tentang musik klasik di sekolah.Kata kunci: Apresiasi, Popularitas, Musik klasik, Pendidikan Formal Abstract.Abstract. Classical music is music that has high quality, has aesthetic beauty in the harmonization of songs. Classical music is also complicated and complex music, so understanding this music takes a long time because there is a lot to learn and deepen in studying classical music, therefore in music education circles in formal education namely Students of Performing Arts Education who are interested in music have different levels of appreciation of classical music. The research method used in this writing is a qualitative research method with a descriptive type, namely describing or describing the research in this writing, namely the level of appreciation of classical music among music education formal institutions in Banjarmasin. The results of this research are that classical music among the music education community is popular and the level of appreciation of classical music itself is on average up to the observing and living stage, not yet evaluating or appreciating. The level of appreciation also affects the ability to understand classical music, for students of performing arts education who have an interest in music, which has the potential to teach and develop the knowledge they get about classical music at school.Keywords: Appreciation, Popularity, Classical Music, Formal Education

Intisari. Tulisan ini mencoba menguraikan pelbagai konsep penting dalam musik populer melalui perspektif/kerangka budaya populer, spesifik pada kasus musik populer di Indonesia. Artinya, tulisan ini bermaksud untuk membahas persoalan musik populer sebagai satu jenis musik yang tumbuh-kembang di Indonesia untuk memberikan penegasan kronologis sebagai penunjuk pemahaman tentang apa, bagaimana, dan ke mana wacana musik populer Indonesia berada. Seain itu, tulisan ini juga memberikan penegasan konseptual tentang metode analisis interdisipliner yang potensial.Kata kunci: musik populer Indonesia, genre musik, industri musik, budaya populer, interdisipliner Abstract. This paper tries to describe various important concepts in popular music through the perspective/framework of popular culture, specific to the case of popular music in Indonesia. That is, this paper intends to discuss the issue of popular music as a type of music that grows and develops in Indonesia to provide chronological affirmation as a pointer to understanding what, how, and where the discourse of Indonesian popular music is. Abstract

Intisari. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang berupa mobile learning yang berbasis android pada mata pelajaran seni budaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development) di mana langkah-langkah yang dilakukan menggunakan model pengembangan Plomp. Berdasarkan hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh 3 orang validator ahli diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 91,67% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kemudian pada tahap uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan pada 20 orang peserta didik kelas VIII dengan hasil penilaian seluruh responden dihitung sehingga mendapatkan nilai sebesar 84,67 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan seluruh hasil tersebut maka penilaian peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis android dinilai cukup baik dan menarik untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Jadi dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran mobile learning berbasis android valid dan memiliki nilai keaktifan yang sangat tinggi.Kata kunci: android, media pembelajaran, seni budaya, mobile learning Abstract. The purpose of this research is to produce a learning media in the form of mobile learning based on Android for the subject of cultural arts. This research is a research and development (R&D) study, where the steps are carried out using the Plomp development model. Based on the validation results conducted by three expert validators, an average score of 91.67% was obtained, categorized as "very valid." Then, in the limited trial phase conducted with 20 eighth-grade students, the assessment results from all respondents were calculated, resulting in a score of 84.67, categorized as "very high." Based on all these results, it can be concluded that students' assessment of the Android-based mobile learning media is quite good and attractive for use in learning activities. So, it can be concluded that the Android-based mobile learning media is valid and has a very high level of effectiveness.Keywords: android, learning media, arts culture, mobile learning

Abstract

Technological developments in society and their social practices contribute to the popularity of folk songs. In this regard, this study aims: (1) to analyze the form of popular Banjar song music, and (2) to analyze the discourse and culture-media context that underpins the popularity of the Banjar song. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with data collection strategies including observation, document studies, questionnaires, and interviews. In the aspect of content, analysis of the form of music is carried out in stages: (1) notating the popular Banjar song document; (2) analyzing the form/structure of the music; (3) presenting the elements of the music form, and (3) making conclusions. Meanwhile, in studying the culture-media discourse on popular Banjar songs, it is carried out using the Pierre Bourdieu’s social practice approach which focuses on the concepts of habitus, capital, and the cultural field. Based on the analysis that has been carried out, it is known that popular Banjar songs have basic forms with three variations, namely the form of one part (A), two parts (AB), and three parts (ABC). However, it shows that most of the songs that exist are in the form of two parts, with a tendency to use major tonality. This finding confirms that the popular Banjar song is a product of mass culture, namely artworks produced from the popular culture ecosystem. In this study, it is also found that social and symbolic capital in the popularity of the Banjar song becomes a social practice that takes place in the cultural field of the people of South Kalimantan. The cultural field is a social space for cultural agents to actualize the popularity of the Banjar song.

Abstract

The development of popular music in Indonesia as a country with rich cultural plurality, is interesting to study. The dominant study of the dangdut genre has the potential to overlook the artistic richness contained in its various musical genres. The setting of the 1970s as a historical period of global modern society that gave birth to many countercultural phenomena and leaps in communication technology in developing countries, including Indonesia, has guided the focus of our research. This research aims to answer the question of how the cluster of artistic values of 1970s Indonesian popular music in its popular songs was able to make an inspirational contribution to the development of Indonesian popular music thereafter. The choice of the conceptual foundation of art historical functionalism has led us to use an interdisciplinary research design that includes a musicological approach to analyze the form of the song, a cultural studies approach to interpret the artistic content of the music text, and a critical discourse analysis to examine the contradictions of the music discourse. From the results of the combined analysis, we found that the artistic value of 1970s Indonesian popular music stands on the foundation of artistic form supported by the three forms of songs as musical compositions, and the aesthetics of song lyrics. In addition, it was found that the cluster of artistic value that includes aesthetic value, emotional response, aesthetic value, cognitive knowledge, and historical value in 1970s Indonesian popular songs also offers artistic novelty as well as a distinctive, advanced expression impact. The findings of this study have provided additional knowledge of popular music, with an emphasis on the functionalization of the artistic value of a song in its historical setting. The findings also contribute to the need for the study of Indonesian popular music with its rich artistic content to develop an interdisciplinary approach.

Abstract

Based on the philosophy and the cosmology of Banjar people, the ethics theory that can raised is a religio-teleological ethics. This concept of ethics has stated that the value of happiness (eudeaimonia) as the goal of life was the quality of a happy life and hereafter. So, the ethical telos or goal is the happiness in a religious orientation. The happiness of the world is less weighty than the happiness of the life hereafter. It can be confirmed that the eudemonistic ethics of Banjar people is the concept of religious ethics. In addition to the religio-teleological and religio-eudoministic,, the Banjar ethics have also declared themselves as the harmony ethics, as well as the ethics of virtue and obligation.Keywords: The ethics of Banjar, the ethics of religio-teleologis, moral philosophy, moral teachingsBerdasarkan pandangan hidup (falsafah) dan kosmologi masyarakat Banjar, konsep/teori etika yang dapat diajukan adalah etika religio-teleologis. Jadi telos atau tujuan etisnya adalah kebahagian secara religius (orientasi agama). Kebahagiaan dunia kurang berbobot dibandingkan dengan kebahagiaan akhirat. Dari sini dapat dinyatakan pula, etika eudemonistik masyarakat Banjar adalah konsep etika yang religius. Abstract

The philosophical aspects of art (aesthetics) explored in this study refer to the popular Banjar songs (with a sample of 14 song titles). Therefore, the vision of discussing the aesthetics of the popular Banjar song is appropriate to expose, extract, and uplift its ontological, epistemological, and axiological values. This study is a qualitative-descriptive type of research with aesthetic study approach (wetland environmental aesthetics), with the object of popular Banjar songs. From this design, the data analysis method uses two approaches, namely: music analysis and art philosophy analysis (philosophical aesthetics). The results of this study found that the aesthetic concept of the popular Banjar song refers to the following three philosophical aspects. First, the metaphysical value or substance of the popular Banjar song which lies in its two ontological realities, namely musical expressions and song lyrics in the Banjar language as a representation of Banjar culture. Second, the value of knowledge and art truth (aesthetic epistemology) of the popular Banjar song tends to be in the framework of the philosophy of empiricism, namely the knowledge and truth of art that prioritizes the existential experience of the subject. Third, the social value of the popular Banjar song that stands out is the discourse on work ethic, which is based on the value of religiosity, while the prominent political value (social institution) is family education.

Abstract

When national education policy in Indonesia first included art as a content of the formal learning curriculum, art learning in schools has generally underwent many developments. The dynamics of its development also raise conceptual and practical issues, one of which is about the basic paradigm of art education in higher education (universities) that prepare art teachers in public schools. This research aims to find the educational philosophy that underlies and emphasizes the concept of art education in Indonesia so that it can guide the formulation of the curriculum content of art lessons in schools. This research uses the hermeneutic-philosophical method through three steps: finding and describing concepts, systematizing concepts, and then testing the level of explanation of the resulting concept system. Based on the results of the research, it is known that the philosophy of art education in Indonesia refers to the cultural values of the Indonesian nation formulated in the philosophy of Pancasila and the opening of the 1945 Constitution. The paradigm of art education in Indonesia must also be based on the philosophical concepts of Pancasila. The implication is that the concepts of formal art education in Indonesia, which include goals, curriculum content, students and educators, as well as the socio-cultural environment, must integrate the values of Pancasila.
