Status gizi adalah keadaan keseimbangan dalam tubuh yang merupakan hasil akhir dari keseimbangan antara konsumsi makanan dan penggunaan zat-zat gizi di dalam tubuh. Klasifikasi status gizi berdasarkan indeks masa tubuh: over weight, normal, under weight, obesitas. Peran status gizi sangat penting terhadap proses menstruasi, dimana fungsi FSH (Follicle-Stimulating Hormone), dan LH (Luteinizing Hormone) untuk mencegah gangguan pada saat menstruasi atau yang disebut Dismenorhea. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan status gizi berdasarkan indeks masa tubuh (IMT) dengan kejadian dismenorhea pada remaja putri di asramakebidanan Wira Husada Nusantara Malang. Desain yang digunakan adalah Correlation study dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah populasi 70, dan sampel sejumlah 60 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan observasi, yang dianalisa menggunakan chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 49 responden mengalami dismenorhea dengan IMT normal dan hampir seluruh responden (98,3%) mengalami Dismenorhea,dengan nilai p-value 0,93 > 0,05. Artinya tidak ada hubungan status gizi berdasarkan indeks masa tubuh (IMT) dengan kejadian dismenorheapada remaja putri di asrama kebidanan Wira Husada Nusantara Malang. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar mengidentifikasi status gizi lebih akurat yaitu dengan pemeriksaan laboratorium. The design used in this research is Correlation study with approach cross sectional. The sampling technique used is Purposive sampling which is part of the Non Probability sampling which means determining the number of samples based on certain considerations. Usually done if the population is homogeneous as many as 60 respondents. Testing this research using test analisis Chi Square. This study uses numerical variables to determine their Significant relationship between Nutrition Status Based on Body Mass Index (BMI) With Dysmenorrhoea Occurrence in Young Women In Wira Husada Nusantara Dormitory. With a level of trust 95% or standard error (α = 0.05). Based on the analysis of Chi Square Test Statistics p-value obtained 0,93 > 0,05 Which means if p-value is greater than α signifies No Relation of Nutritional Status Based on Body Mass Index (BMI) with Dysmenorrhoea Occurrence in Young Women In Wira Husada Nusantara Dormitory.
