Abstract

Integrated science education requires prospective teachers to incorporate various educational elements into their teaching practices. Students in the Science Education Program at FKIP ULM encounter challenges when planning science lessons that blend different concepts, contexts, and skills into a cohesive learning experience. To tackle this challenge, the researcher created a teaching module that provides guidance on integrating science education using two of Robin Fogarty's curriculum integration models: the connected model and the nest model. This study seeks to examine the module's role in developing teaching skills. It employs a qualitative methodology with case study approach, focusing on the experiences of sixth-semester science education students during their teaching. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, utilizing theoretical sampling until saturation was reached. The analysis was conducted using Charmaz’s grounded theory approach and then discussed from the perspective of Teaching Mastery Framework (TMF). The findings indicate that the developed integrated science education module can support prospective teachers in planning of teaching practice, especially in teachers pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) and developing lesson plan

Abstract

This research is a development of comic media based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) which is motivated by the lack of variation of learning media in improving students' scientific literacy. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of comic learning media based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) on the digestive system sub-material. This research and development uses the R & D development model with ADDIE research procedures. Data analysis techniques in this study include analysis of the validity of comic media before the media is used in learning with a validity sheet instrument from an expert validator's assessment, analysis of the practicality of comic media related to students' views on comic media used in learning through student response questionnaire instruments, and analysis of the effectiveness of comic media related to improving students' scientific literacy results from the scientific literacy test instrument conducted at the beginning and at the end of learning (pretest and posttest). The results of the study indicate that the learning media is categorized as very feasible, very practical, and effective with n-gain scores that show high criteria. Based on the results of this study, the development of comic learning media based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) can be an alternative innovative media in improving the scientific literacy of eighth grade junior high school students

Abstract

Scientific literacy involves understanding scientific concepts using information to solve problems and making decisions based on scientific findings. This study will build an e-LKPD (Electronic Student Worksheet) based on the mixed wordwall game to increase eighth-graders' scientific literacy. The development model and R&D process are ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The implementation involved 28 SMPN 1 Alalak class VIII C students in 2024–2025. Data was collected from PISA-based scientific literacy exams, expert validation sheets, and student answer questionnaires and analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The validation results showed an N-Gain score of 0.71 (high category), an average score of 0.92 (very valid), and a practicality score of 90%. Results suggest that Wordwall-based e-LKPD improves students' study evaluation, data understanding, and scientific phenomena explanation. The findings show that the wordwall-based e-LKPD is a effective, practical, and valid learning instrument for the Merdeka Curriculum and 21st-century education.

Abstract

Pembelajaran gacor slot dikatakan berhasil ketika siswa mampu memahami pembelajaran dan menggunakan pengetahuannya untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan dikehidupan sehari-hari. Literasi sains merupakan pemahaman konsep sains dan mengaplikasikannya untuk memecahkan masalah pada kehidupan nyata. Dalam proses pembelajaran dibuuhkan karakter kerja keras didalamnya. Karakter kerja keras merupakan sikap sungguh-sungguh mengatasi permasalahan dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan menguji modul gerak dan gaya yang dinilai oleh tiga validator ahli ditinjau dari aspek kelayakan isi, penyajian, Bahasa, grafis, dan literasi sains. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini menggunakan model 4D atau Four-D yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini hanya 3 tahap yakni Define, Design, dan Develop. Instrument tes yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa lembar validasi modul dan lembar validasi tes hasil belajar siswa. berdasarkan validitas yang dilakukan tiga ahli didapat nilai kevalidan modul sebesar 85,85% yang berada pada kategori “valid tanpa revisi” dan validitas instrument gacor slot tes hasil belajar dengan nilai 84,75% dengan kategori “valid dengan revisi kecil”, sehingga modul ini dapat dilakukan percobaan ketahap selanjutnya
