Abstract

Seiring dengan perkembangan peradaban manusia, tingkat kebutuhan energi juga semakin meningkat. Pemenuhan energi dewasa ini masih didominasi oleh pembakaran bahan bakar fosil sedangkan energi yang berasal dari energi terbarukan masih terabaikan. Pembangkit listrik tenaga angin merupakan salah pembangkit listrik yang menggunakan sumber energi terbarukan yang banyak digunakan, karena sifat energi angin yang ramah lingkungan serta mudah dalam melakukan pengoperasian. Indonesia saat ini sedang mengalami krisis energi listrik karena kebutuhan energi listrik yang semakin besar akibat adanya pertumbuhan industri, peningkatan jumlah pemakaian alat elektronik rumah tangga, perkembangan teknologi dan komunikasi, dan sebagainya. Aceh barat merupakan salah satu kabupaten yang terletak di Aceh dengan ibukota bernama Meulaboh. Aceh barat mempunyai letak menurut garis lintang dan bujur yaitu 04006’-04047’ Lintang Utara dan 95052’-96030’ Bujur Timur, dengan luas daerah 2.927,95 Km2 dan mempunyai 12 kecamatan serta 321 kampung. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan analisis mawar angin sebagai dasar prediksi daya angin dikota Meulaboh. Dari analisis didapatkan bahwa Mawar Angin tersebut memperlihatkan distribusi energi angin selama kurun waktu setahun dalam arah 3600. Arah angin maksimum terjadi pada arah 3000 dan distribusi terendah terjadi pada arah 800.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan admixture dalam air payau tanpa pemadatan. Variasi penambahan jumlah admixture 8% dan 12% dari berat semen dan perbandingan dengan tidak menggunakan admixture serta perbandingan tanpa menggunakan admixture tidak menggunakan admixture. Ukuran benda uji dalam penelitian ini adalah (15 x 15 x 60) cm, faktor air semen (FAS) 0,35 dan 0,40. Jumlah sampel untuk umur pengujian 7 hari 12 sampel dan umur pengujian 28 hari 12 sampel. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Sikacrete-w produk dari PT.Sika Indonesia. Pengujian sampel dilakukan di Laboratorium Bahan dan Konstruksi Fakultas Teknik Universitas Syiah Kuala. Dari hasil penelitian, penggunaan admixture 12% sangat berpengaruh terhadap kekuatan lentur beton baik umur 7 hari maupun 28 hari dalam air payau tanpa pemadatan. Hasil pengujian umur 7 hari dengan FAS 0,35 nilai kuat lentur beton rata-rata 27,73 kg/cm2 dan umur pengujian 28 hari nilai kuat lentur balok beton rata-rata sebesar 35.38 kg/cm 2 . pengujian dengan FAS 0,40 umur 7 hari nilai kuat lentur beton rata-rata sebesar 23.20 kg/cm 2 dan umur pengujian 28 hari nilai kuat lentur beton rata-rata 29.87 kg/cm 2 .

Abstract

PT. Wiratako Mitra Mulia is a company engaged in asphalt construction and road repair. At this time PT. Wiratako Mitra Mulia uses several heavy equipment to facilitate the work process, one of the heavy equipment used by PT. Wiratako Mitra Mulia is an excavator which is used for the process of dredging soil, moving materials and leveling the ground. From this, there are several obstacles or problems that occur in the excavator, such as damage to the bucket hydraulic cylinder, in which the bucket hydraulic cylinder has an oil leak, cylinder piston damage and seal leakage, therefore proper and scheduled maintenance is needed so that the damage that occurs to the hydraulic cylinder of the bucket excavator can be minimized so that the work process can run smoothly and do not experience any problems. Therefore, daily, weekly, monthly and yearly maintenance is required. For daily maintenance carried out every day by checking lubricants and performing services, for weekly maintenance inspections are carried out every 60 working hours. For monthly maintenance it is done every 250 working hours and for annual maintenance it is done every 2500 working hours.

Abstract

Beurandeh village is a village in district of Bandar Baru, Pidie Jaya Regency. The majority of the population of Beurandeh village are farmers. Tobacco is the most commonly planted plant by the Beurandeh. Generally, tobacco is used as the basic ingredient of cigarettes, besides that tobacco is also widely consumed by older women as chewing tobacco. The problem that is often faced in the tobacco processing process is that it is still manual and old so it is less efficient. The purpose of this service is to provide training to the people of Beurandeh village to be able to use tobacco chopping machines properly, so that the time and energy to chop tobacco is more effective and efficient, and drying time is also completed faster. The method used in this service activity is in the form of direction and discussion between the speaker and the tobacco farming community. The result of this service is that the community can understand how to used a tobacco chopping machine so that time and energy are more efficient, and women who dry tobacco do not need to dryi up under the hot sun because the chopping process is completed faster.

Abstract

The advancement of technology in the fields of healthcare and engineering has driven the demand for portable, energy-efficient, and user-friendly physiological and mechanical monitoring devices. Heart rate (BPM) is vital in the medical field, while vibration frequency is crucial in mechanical engineering for monitoring system stability. This study designs a Beats Per Minute (BPM) and vibration frequency monitoring device based on Arduino and ESP32. The system utilizes a Pulse Sensor for BPM and an MPU6050 sensor for vibration, with real-time data displayed on the Serial Monitor and an OLED screen. The method used is a quantitative experiment involving the design, assembly, programming, and testing of the device. BPM testing was conducted on three subjects with varying activity levels, while vibration testing was performed using different voltage levels on a vibration motor. The results show high BPM accuracy, with a maximum deviation of 2.7% compared to manual methods. Vibration measurements demonstrated signal stability with less than 10% error relative to the theoretical frequency. The compact, affordable, and user-friendly design makes this tool a practical solution for health monitoring in remote areas and as a project-based educational medium. The system is feasible for further development in portable medical and engineering applications.
