Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to describe the Performing Arts Management at Tuah Sakato Studio.This research was qualitative research with descriptive type. This research was conducted at Tuah Sakato Studio in Padang City. The object of the study was the studio of Tuah Sakato in Padang City. The techniques of data collection were interviews, documentation and direct observation in the field. Meanwhile, the analysis of the data used in this study was interpretation technique. The results of the study showed that the management of Tuah Sakato Studio had a planning by making programs that would be carried out and implemented, with preparation of equipment and training. The organizing of the studio had been organized by making the management structure in the form of lines. The organizing also determined the duties and authorities of the board. The movement was done by carrying out the provision of motivation, guidance and mobilizing on the stated goals. Internal supervision was carried out directly or indirectly. In the other hand, external supervision was done with evaluation of activities. Tuah Sakato studio also had a production house consisting of dance, music, Malam Bainai, and babako. Marketing management of Tuah Sakato studio also followed the current development of times. Tuah Sakato studio was already registered in tourism office and cooperated with the office. Abstract

This article aims to disclose and describe the Minangkabau society about the reasons consider dance dance Rantak as the Minangkabau traditions and looking for answers as to why the Rantak can dance mentradisi in Minangkabau society. This type of research in the study was qualitative research with a descriptive method. The main instrument in the penelitia this is the researcher himself, and assisted with the supporting instruments such as stationery, tape and camera rekorder photos. Types of data using primary data and secondary data. The technique of data collection is done with the study of librarianship, observation observation, interview and documentation. And the steps undertaken to analyze data is grouped data, analyze data, describe the data and create reports. The results showed that among the general public is currently not many know the existence of the dance Rantak dance berakarkan to creations that dance traditions. At the moment it is rare in Rantak dance pull again by society because of the lack of public knowledge about the existence of the dance Rantak, the influence of modern art, education, culture and the lack of demand from the public for showing that Rantak Dance on its own. But the dance Rantak been mentradisi among the Minangkabau people, dance is often bring in at that point in the race events, extracurricular and disekolah-sekolah festival.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to disclose and describe about "review Choreography Dance Delight-Delight in Kanagarian Pauh IX Subdistrict Kuranji Padang city". This qualitative research study with the method descriptive analysis. The object examined was the dance of Delight-Delight in Kanagarian Pauh IX Subdistrict Kuranji Padang city. Research instrument is the researcher himself, and assisted with the instruments supporting such as stationery, photo cameras, cassette cd and pendrive. The type of data in this study is the primary data and secondary data. Engineering data collection done by the study of librarianship, observation/observation, interviews. The concept is used to analyze data are data collection, data reduction, withdrawal and presentation of conclusions. The results showed that views on choreography dance Delight-Delight consists of form and content. The form includes: dancer (4 person female dancer), motion farmed (maknawi motion) 14 motif, top design (design 8 above), the design of the floor (horizontal, rectangular), dramatic design (single cone), the composition of the groups of 4 people (large group), music (dance accompaniment vocals dendang, talempong, bansi and gandang), costumes (male costumes), the properties of the oil bottles (dama). The content includes: the idea of dance Delight-Delight comes from a family that worked in the rice fields of the mother membuaikan her crying and dad sing dendang. The atmosphere of dance Delight-Delight, namely: the quiet atmosphere, passion and joy. Keywords: dance Delight-Delight

Abstract

This article aims to find out and describe the application of the Scientific Approach to the study of Dance Class VII. 10 in SMP Negeri 2 at Solok. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The instrument of this study is the researchers themselves. Types of data using primary data secondary dandata. Engineering data collection done by the study of librarianship, observation and interview. After the data is collected, the data analyzed by a conceptual framework based on. The results showed that the application of scientific approaches in the study of art and culture (dance) are going well and the students gave positive response during learning activities. At the first meeting there were still many students who are making a fuss, not excited in the move, and not confident in doing the motion. At the second meeting has already increased the student who submits an opinion. At the third meeting of the visible increase in the activity of students i.e. students who dared to ask your opinions and ask questions. Student activity on the fourth and fifth meetings already looks very good. That's where almost all serious and eager students in learning theory as well as practice of dance. Then follows the application of scientific approaches in the study of art and culture (dance) is very effective in improving student learning activities.

Abstract

This article aims to describe and explain about the reviews of Dance Choreography Ngayun Nuci in Semurup Sub Regency of Kerinci Hagat Water Jambi province. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive methods. The object of research is the dance Nuci Ngayun. Instrument in this study is the researchers themselves and assisted by mobile phone camera, voice recorder, and stationery. Types of data using primary data and secondary data. Engineering data collection done by the study of librarianship, observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique of data analysis by collecting data, selecting data that is considered important, compiling data that has already been selected, analyzed data with interpretation techniques. The results of this research show that dance Ngayun Nuci is a dance creation which is the development of a tradition of Nuci Ngayun dance serves as the entertainment and aims to preserve traditional arts in Semurup. Dance Dance-shaped Nuci Ngayun group that developed the science of dance composition by koreografernya. Nuci Ngayun dance Creations rendered with planning the choreography for pementasannya.  And also this dance movement is fixed at typical dance tradition.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal, describe, and analyze the development of Tauh Dance in Rantau Pandan Village, Rantau Pandan District, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. This research used a descriptive analysis method. The object of this research was Tauh dance in Rantau Pandan District, Bungo Regency, Jambi Province. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The main instrument was the researcher itself. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by using interpretation technique so that the truth can be obtained. The results show that Tauh Dance in Rantau Pandan Village has developed into a new form that can be seen through the processing of motion, clothing, make-up, property, time and place of performance as well as aspects of dancers packaged in new forms. In motion, there is a development in terms of movement assertiveness and motion motives. In costumes, there is a development in terms of uniformity, similarity between dancers, and harmony in choosing colors for male and female dancers’ costumes. Thus, the process of developing Tauh dance in Rantau Pandan District is supported because there is a desire from Alsobri to keep Tauh dance by turning it into an attractive Tauh dance for Rantau Pandan community as well as maintaining cultural heritage and forming the identity of the local Village.

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to describe the form of Tan Bentan Dance in the community of Kanagarian Saniang Baka in Solok Regency. The object of this research was Tan Bentan Dance at Kanagarian Saniang Baka Solok Regency. The techniques of data collefction were conducted by literature study, observation and interviews. Then, there were several steps in analyzing the data, they were grouping data, analyzing data, describing data and making reports. The results of the study showed that Tan Bentan dance was one of the arts and cultures that were still developing in Kanagarian Saniang Baka, Solok Regency. There had been no change in the motion of Tan Bentan Dance from the past to the present and there were many repetitions in each stage. Previously, Puti Bungsu figure was played by men, and now the role of Puti Bungsu was played by women. The floor patterns of Tan Bentan Dance were circles as well as on Randai. Meanwhile, in the third and fifth round there was a slight change in floor pattern. The most floor pattern of Tan Bentan dance was circular. The number of Tan Bentan dancers was three people and one musician, with the characters of Cindua Mato, Lembang Jayo and Puti Bungsu. However, it could be seen from Tan Bentan's Dance that was performed at Marzuki Ismail Park Jakarta that the Puti Bungsu figure was played by male dancer and female dancer that had the creation of dance performances. Keywords: Tan Bentan Dance

Abstract

Pelatihan materi ajar mata pelajaran Seni Budaya pada MGMP Seni Budaya Tingkat SMP/MTs Kota Payakumbuh dilaksanakan karena belum maksimalnya materi ajar yang diberikan oleh guru-guru kepada peserta didik. Hal ini disebabkan karena latar belakang keahlian guru yang berbeda-beda, guru-guru hanya memiliki satu  keahlian misalnya hanya seni tari, seni musik atau seni rupa saja, hal ini terjadi karena konsentrasi keahlian yang diambil guru-guru pada masa pendidikannya. Namun pada saat mengajar di Sekolah dengan mata pelajaran Seni Budaya guru dituntut harus bisa mengajarkan semua bidang seni tersebut sesuai dengan kurikulum dan silabus yang ada, sehingga guru merasa kurang sempurna dan tidak tuntas dalam memberikan materi yang bukan bidangnya. Para guru membutuhkan ilmu, pengetahuan, keterampilan yang baru ataupun masukan dari para ahlinya mengenai materi ajar yang dapat diberikan di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan melaksanakan pelatihan dengan mendatangkan para ahli atau narasumber dari ketiga bidang seni budaya yaitu seni tari, seni musik dan seni rupa. Dimana narasumber akan memberikan materi teori dan praktik yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil dari pelatihan materi ajar ini yaitu dapat menambah  pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diberikan (soft skill dan hard skill), Sehingga guru-guru dapat memberikan ilmu yang tepat dan proses yang benar kepada para siswanya sesuai dengan materi ajar yang dituntut pada kurikulum dan silabus pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the meaning of the movement of the Piriang Suluah Dance in Sigando Village, East Padangpanjang District, Padangpanjang City. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. This type of data uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out employing library research, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze the data are data collection, data reduction and data presentation. The results showed that the overall performance of the Piriang Suluah dance moves meant hard work, responsibility and high social values. The Piriang Suluah dance movement is a reflection of the Sigando community whose life is farming and playing. Such as the movements of maniti pamatang, ramo-ramo tabang, maalau buruang, mangisai straw, tapuok rangik. Suluah which is placed above the head means a street light because in ancient times there was no electricity as it is today. Every performance that is performed at a different time and place will experience a change in the arrangement of movements or floor patterns. However, in the Piriang Suluah Dance performances, it is more dominant to use a circular floor pattern. The number of dancers in the Piriang Suluah Dance is independent and the age of the dancers is not limited. The existence of the Piriang Suluah Dance in the community is still preserved by the local community. This is evidenced that the Piriang Suluah Dance is still used in big events in Padangpanjang.

Abstract

 This study aims to explain the transformation of the Tarea-rea Ritual into the form of a Randai performance in the Koto Gadang Guguk village which is still being performed now. This research uses qualitative research whit a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as cellphone cameras and stationery. The type of data used is the type of primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out through literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used consisted of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is that the Ritual Transformation of Tarea-rea into Randai can be seen from the form of the performance. Tarea-rea is not only performed in the rice fields but has been performed for performances such as nagari consensus, festivals and wedding parties. The change is due to the change of mindset that has been reorganized whit new patterns and does not eliminate all the elements in the Tarea-rea ritual so that the traditions of the community do not simply become extinct and continue to develop.
