Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan gerak Randai Siti Rasanah dari tahun 1970 sampai sekarang di Kota Payakumbuh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti itu sendiri dan alat bantu berupa alat tulis dan kamera handphone digunakan sebagai alat bantu. Bahan penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui studi literatur, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan inferensi . Hasil penelitian membuktikan terdapat perkembangan yaitu penambahan ragam gerak pada randai Siti Rasanah di Sanggar Puti Elok yaitu dari 2 ragam gerak menjadi 5 ragam gerak. Perkembangan gerak randai Siti Rasanah yang awalnya hanya ada 2 ragam gerak menjadi 5 ragam gerak dengan cerita dan gurindam yang sama

Abstract

This research is an effort to preserve Ronggiang Pasaman with the Ranah Sialang group in Lembah Melintang District, Ujung Gading Nagari, West Pasaman Regency. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The research instrument was the researcher herself and assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, flash drives and cameras. The data in this study uses primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze the data are data reduction and data presentation. The results showed that the conservation efforts carried out by researchers were to increase the number of actors in Ujung Gading village, Melintang valley sub-district, West Pasaman district by collaborating with the chairman, dancers from the Ranah Sialang group and the community, the form of collaboration carried out by researchers was socializing related to conservation activities this. Ronggiang Pasaman art already has successors to maintain its existence from traditional arts. It can be proven by the development in terms of the quantity of actors (dancers), in Ronggiang Pasaman Art as many as 10 people, on the other hand, the goal of preservation efforts is so that Ronggiang Pasaman art can continue to develop among young people so that people know that they have a traditional dance that should be proud of and there needs to be an effort to preserve Ronggiang Pasaman Art in the Ujung Gading district, Lembah Melintang sub-district, West Pasaman district.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kemasan Silat Pangean pada masyarakat melayu di Kelurahan Rawang Empat Kabupaten Pelalawan Propinsi Riau. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri dan dibantu dengan instrumen pendukung seperti alat tulis, camera dan handphone. Jenis data menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Silat Pangean Kemasan baru merupakan modifikasi dari Silat Pangean zaman dulu yang masih tetap menjadi identitas Silat Pangean (Warisan Tak Benda Budaya Lokal Rawang Empat). Bentuk kemasan Silat Pangean kemasan baru menggunakan baju melayu lengan panjang dan celana melayu panjang berwarna hitam, peci dan kain samping, dan mempunyai gerak togak ali, langkah ompat, popat, tikam, concang, tumbuk, gayung dan simbuh. pola lantai garis lurus dan garis lengkung, Penari berjumlah 2-6 orang pesilat laki-laki berpasangan atau lebih, alat musik yang digunakan dalam Silat Pangean yaitu gondang dan tetawak musik khas melayu. Tempat Pertunjukan Silat Pangean dilakukan di depan halaman rumah mempelai perempuan ketika pengantin laki-laki ingin disandingkan dengan mempelai perempuan di pelaminan.

Abstract

Niniak Mamak is part of a social group within Minangkabau tribe. He acts as a customary leader in Minangkabau clan. Niniak Mamak plays an important role in sustaining and continuity of cultures and customs which exist in the village. Thus, the role of Niniak Mamak becomes important in socio-cultural life of Minangkabau community. This article describes the role of Niniak Mamak in maintaining Luambek art in Sintuak village, Padang Pariaman district. The role and efforts of Niniak Mamak with his power as tribal leaders is the focus of attention in this study. This study is a qualitative research using descriptive analysis method. Qualitative data were obtained through literature study, direct observation, and various interviews with informants. Interviews and observations were based on indicators designed to refer to research questions. The analysis was carried out by combining the ethnographic and phenomenological analysis model as well as referring to the Miles and Huberman model. The result shows that the existence of Niniak Mamak with his power as rulers of relatives can encourage nephews and people in the community to be involved in preserving Luambek dance and cultivate it as a cultural heritage of their ancestors. In addition, through his role as a customary leader, Niniak Mamak places Luambek art as a symbol of his greatness in Sintuak community, Padang Pariaman district.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan bentuk penyajian Tari Ambek-Ambek di Nagari Kinari Kabupaten Solok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian adalah peneliti sendiri dan dibantu dengan instrumen pendukung seperti alat tulis, kamera dan handphone. Data dalam penelitian ini menggunaan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah menganalisis data adalah reduksi data, sajian data dan mengambil kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tari Ambek-Ambek merupakan tari tradisi masyarakat di Nagari Kinari Kecamatan Bukit Sundi Kabupaten Solok yang sering ditampilkan pada acara perhelatan yang ada di Nagari Kinari. Tari Ambek-Ambek ditarikan secara berpasangan dengan jumlah penari sebanyak genap. Tari Ambek-Ambek memiliki gerakan yang khas yaitu gerak galatiak yang dilakukan dari awal sampai akhir tarian dan terdapat 6 gerakan yaitu gerak pilin pajapuik, gerak sikutintiang, gerak baririang-babelong, gerak ambek-ambek, gerak pilin paanta, dan gerak sambah. Tari Ambek-Ambek memakai kursi yang diletakkan pada pentas atau arena pertunjukan untuk digunakan penari perempuan dengan mendudukinya. Kostum penari perempuan tari Ambek menggunakan baju kuruang atau baju anak daro, songket, dan kupiah bajamu (hiasan kepala khas Nagari Kinari), sedangkan penari laki-laki menggunakan baju basiba dengan buah piciak, sarawa galembong, dan deta. Alat musik yang dipakai pada Tari Ambek-Ambek yaitu alat musik tradisional berupa gandang dan bansi. Tari Ambek-Ambek menggunakan desain dramatik yang berbentuk desain tunggal serta menggunakan tiga desain kelompok yaitu unison, balanced, dan broken. Desain lantai yang dipakai berbentuk garis lurus dengan bentuk formasi satu garis lurus dan formasi dua berbanjar, serta melengkung dengan bentuk formasi lingkaran.

Abstract

The research aims to reveal and describe the Aesthetics of Hoyak Badarai Plate Dance Sarai Sarumpun Studio in Padang City. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods of analysis. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data model and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the aesthetics of Piriang hoyak badarai Dance 6 principles, namely the principle of organic unity. Theme Principle, Theme Variation Principle, Balance principle, Development principle and Level Layout principle which are also associated with elements in dance, where dance elements are also divided into 2, namely the main elements such as movement and supporting elements in dance such as floor patterns, dancers, dance accompaniment music, makeup and clothing, property and performance venues. Appearance is one of the fundamental parts that all art objects or art events have. For art performance, there are three elements that play a role, namely talent, skills, and facilities or media. This element was used to study it as the Aesthetics of Piriang Hoyak Badarai Dance at Sarai Sarumpun Studio in Padang City. Piriang Hoyak Badarai dance is a dance that illustrates the nature of community cooperation in working on rice fields starting from hoeing until rice returns to the granary. This is the background behind the creation of Hoyak Badarai Dance. And the source of the gerkana itself is taken from the Minangkabau Basic Motion.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Development of Rentak Bulean Dance Tradition into Creation in West Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments in the form of stationery, cameras and flash drives. The data in this study used primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation and data verification.. The results showed that the development of Rentak Bulean dance carried out by an artist named Wasnuri Marja was by coaching and training the people of West Rengat District to learn Rentak Bulean dance. The development of Rentak Bulean dance movements slightly adds additional motives to the movements. Meanwhile, the development of Rentak Bulean dance is disseminated through rehearsal and performance activities. Modify costumes by homogenizing in terms of color. Meanwhile, Rentak Bulean dance development efforts by disseminating it through performances. Dissemination with an appearance at the welcoming event of big people in West Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. After the development of Rentak Bulean Dance, people are aware of the interesting arts in West Rengat District, especially to young men and women who are increasingly interested in learning Rentak Bulean dance.
