Abstract

Breast milk is the best natural food for babies. Breast milk contains various substances that are needed in the process of growth, baby development, health and immunity. There are several factors in facilitating the production and expenditure of breast milk, namely breast care, frequency of breastfeeding, stress and disease or maternal health, consumption of cigarettes or alcohol, contraceptive pills, nutritional intake. According to Riskesdas 2018, exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Indonesia 2014 was 37.3%, 2015 was 55.7%, 2016 was 54%, in 2017 it was 61.33% and in 2018 experienced a very significant decrease of 37.7% . This study aims to determine the relationship between breastfeeding self-efficacy and exclusive breastfeeding for breastfeeding mothers in the working area of ​​the Rejosari Public Health Center, Pekanbaru City. This study used a cross-sectional design. The population in this study were breastfeeding mothers with a total sample of 50 respondents using purposive sampling technique. The instrument of this research used a questionnaire. The data analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis. Based on the results of the study, the results of the che square test were obtained with a significance value of 0.022 where <0.05, which means that there is an influence of breastfeeding self-efficacy with the success of exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of ​​the Rejosari Public Health Center, Pekanbaru City. Abstract

Yoga adalah suatu metode penyembuhan yang memberikan pengaruh positif pada kesehatan tubuh, psikologi, perasaan, dan reaksi terhadap kehidupan yang sedang kita jalani. Tujuan dari rangkaian latihan yoga untuk menciptakan keseimbangan jiwa dan raga, kekuatan tubuh, ketenangan, kedamaian, mempersiapkan ibu hamil secara fisik, mental dan spiritual untuk proses persalinan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh prenatal yoga terhadap kesehatan mental ibu hamil primigravida trimester III di BPM Fitri Yani Kabupaten Kampar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan quasy-experiment menggunakan rancangan pre testpost test with the one group design. Populasi pada penelitian semua ibu hamil primigravida trimester III 15 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan di bulan April 2024.Hasil penelitian tingkat kecemasan sebelum prenatal yoga mayoritas pada kategori sedang (53%) serta sesudah melakukan prental mayoritas di kategori ringan (10%). hasil analisis paired sample t-test didapatkan nilai p-value = 0.037 (p-value < 0,05), sehingga bisa disimpulkan bahwa dampak prenatal yoga pada kesehatan mental ibu hamil primigravida trimester III di PMB Fitri Yani Kabupaten Kampar. Diharapakan bagi bidan untuk memberikan materi tentang prenatal yoga pada saat penyuluhan supaya bisa menambahwawasan ibu mengenai prenatal yoga serta mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang prenatal yoga

Abstract

The discomfort felt by each pregnant woman is different in each trimester of pregnancy. One of the complaints that is often felt during pregnancy is emesis gravidarum. There are impacts caused by emesis gravidarum so treatment is needed to overcome them. Lemon Aromatherapy is a non-pharmacological therapy using the aroma of lemon which has a calming effect so that it can reduce the level of emesis gravidarum in pregnant women who inhale the aroma. The aim of the research was to determine the effectiveness of lemon aromatherapy on the level of emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women at the Sei Alam Bengkalis Health Center, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. This type of quantitative research uses a pre-experimental design approach. This research was carried out at the Sei Bengkalis Community Health Center, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. The sample used in this research was 27 respondents. The sampling technique at the Sei Bengkalis Community Health Center was carried out using a purposive sampling technique. The results and discussion show that there is effectiveness of lemon aromatherapy in reducing the level of emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the first trimester with p value = 0.000 which shows that there is the effectiveness of lemon aromatherapy in reducing the level of emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the first trimester at the Sei Alam Bengkalis Community Health Center, Bengkalis District, Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province. With this research, it is hoped that health workers, especially at the Sei Alam Community Health Center, will be able to provide lemon aromatherapy to pregnant women in the first trimester so that the emesis gravidarum experienced by the mother is reduced and can be overcome.Keywords: Lemon Aromateraphy, emesis gravidarum.

Abstract

In Pekanbaru city, 6-month-old infants who received exclusive breastfeeding in 2020 were 53.4%. Problems that affect exclusive breastfeeding to infants include age, education, employment, knowledge, attitudes, family support as well as, maintaining adequate breastfeeding frequency in infants is still a challenge.The stimulation approach to infants can maximize the activity of the vagus nerve and improve food absorption, making babies hungry faster and more often breastfeeding their mothers.This study aims to determine the effect of stimulation on the frequency of breastfeeding at the age of 1-6 months in the independent practice of midwives Bdn. Hasna Dewi and FS, S.Keb in Pekanbaru City. This type of research is a quantitative study with a pre-experimental design approach Pretest-Posttest one Group Design with a population of 15 babies who are breastfeeding. Data were analyzed by univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Paired Sample Test. The results of this statistical test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 which means that Ha is accepted where there is an Effect of Stimulation on Breastfeeding Frequency at the Age of 1- 6 Months in the Independent Practice of Midwife Bdn. Hasna Dewi FS, S.Keb Pekanbaru. Conclusion: an interesting approach in an effort to increase the frequency of breastfeeding in infants is by stimulating routine massage in infants can help babies breastfeed more often. It is recommended to provide regular stimulation to infants as part of daily care. Proper stimulation can support the sensory, motor, cognitive, and social development of infants, so that their growth becomes more optimal.

Abstract

Breast milk (ASI) contains nutrients according to the baby's needs for growth, immunity, preventing various diseases and for the baby's intelligence. Banana flower is one of the plants containing lactagogum which can stimulate the hormones oxytocin and prolactin. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effectiveness of Consumption of Batu Banana Flower (Musa Balbiana Colla) on Breast Milk Production in Postpartum Mothers in the Meskom Health Center Work Area. The research design was pre-experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest. The sampling technique used Accidental sampling with a population of postpartum mothers with a sample size of 17 respondents. Breast milk production before consuming boiled banana flower from 17 respondents was (64.07%) sufficient breast milk production, (23.5%) insufficient breast milk production and (11,8%) high breast milk production. Breast milk production after consuming boiled banana flower was (94,1%) high breast milk production and (5,9%) low breast milk production. There is an effect of Banana Heart Consumption (Musa Balbisiana Colla) on Breast Milk Production in Postpartum Mothers with a p-value = 0.000. It is recommended that giving stone banana blossoms (Musa Balbisiana Colla) can help increase breast milk production for post partum mothers on days 1-5 and it is hoped that Meskom Community Health Center midwives can promote stone banana blossoms (Musa Balbisiana Colla) to post partum mothers to facilitate breast milk production and increase education. and mother's motivation to breastfeed exclusively to improve maternal and child health.Keywords: Breast Milk Production, Banana Heart Stone, Post Partum.

Abstract

Anemia is one of the indirect causes of the most bleeding in women giving birth. The prevalence of anemia in pregnancy in Bengkalis Regency is 16.90%. Fe tablets are useful for increasing Hb levels. One way to increase the work of Fe is by consuming papaya fruit which contains vitamin C. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of giving papaya fruit on the absorption of Fe tablets in pregnant women with anemia. Type of experimental research with a two group pretest and posttest design. The research was conducted in December - January 2025 in the Meskom Community Health Center Working Area. Population of 20 anemic pregnant women. This research uses an experimental sample formula with a sample size of 20 people. Accidental Sampling sampling technique. The instruments used were digital Hb and observation sheets. T-Test statistical test data processing. The Dependent T-Test used was the Paired Samples Test. The average Hb level before being given Fe tablets was 9.60 gr/dl, after being given Fe tablets 12.11 gr/dl. The average Hb level before being given Fe tablets and papaya fruit was 10.01 gr/dl, after being given Fe tablets and papaya fruit was 12.76 gr/dl. The effect of giving Fe tablets on increasing Hb levels with p value = 0.000. Effect of giving Fe tablets and papaya with p value = 0.000. The difference in the effectiveness of giving Fe tablets compared to giving Fe tablets and papaya with p value = 0.031. It was concluded that giving Fe tablets and papaya was more effective than giving Fe tablets alone. It is hoped that it can treat or alleviate the problems of pregnant women who experience anemia by giving papaya fruit and Fe tablets.Keywords : Papaya fruit; Fe Tablets; Anemia; Hemoglobin; Pregnant mother

Abstract

The prevalence of exclusive breastfeeding tends to decrease in general due to the desire of parents for rapid growth of their baby's weight, especially the promotion of formula milk which is increasingly intensive. Breast milk is the single best source of nutrition for babies because it contains Fats, Carbohydrates, proteins, Vitamins, Minerals, Water and natural protective substances that can protect babies against various diseases. Green beans are one of the lagtogogum plants that contain vitamin tiamin and polyphenols that can increase breast milk production.   The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving green bean juice on infant weight gain in breastfeeding mothers exclusively breastfed. Quasy experimental type of research with pretest and  post test design with nonequivalent control group design. The study was conducted from September to November 2020 in the Working Area of UPT Puskesmas Sebangar Bengkalis Regency with a population of 189 mothers having babies aged (0-6) months with a total sample of 32 people, purposive sampling technique. Giving green bean juice is done once a day as much as 300 ml for 14 consecutive days. Data processing using an independent sample t test. From the results of the study, the average weight gain of babies in the experimental group was 468.74 grams while the average weight gain of the control group babies was only 290.62 grams.  In the independent test of the t-test sample, a p value = 0.021 was obtained, where the p value of ≤ 0.05 Ha was received, meaning that there was an effect of giving mung bean juice on infant weight gain in breastfeeding mothers exclusively in the Working Area of UPT Sebangar Health Center, Bengkalis Regency. It is recommended that breastfeeding mothers can consume Green Bean Juice to help smooth milk production, so as to increase baby weight gain in exclusive breastfeeding mothers.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan indikator kekurangan gizi kronis akibat katidakcukupan asupan makanan dalam waktu yang lama yang ditandai dengan nilai indeks tinggi badan atau panjang badan menurut umur (TB/U atau PB/U) kurang dari -2 standar deviasi. Prevalensi stunting di Kabupaten Bengkalis pada tahun 2023 justru mengalami kenaikan sebesar 17,9% dibanding tahun 2022 hanya sebesar 8,4%. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pola pemberian makan dengan kejadian stunting pada balita usia 12 – 59 bulan di Desa Beringin Kabupaten Bengkalis. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki balita dengan usia 12 – 59 bulan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 53 responden dan pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan nilai sig<0,05. Hasil penelitian didapatkan mayoritas balita memiliki tinggi badan normal mendapatkan pola makan yang tepat sebanyak 32 orang (60,4%). Sedangkan mayoritas balita dengan kategori pendek mendapatkan pola makan yang tidak tepat yaitu sebanyak 10 orang (18,9%), serta keseluruhan balita dengan kategori sangat pendek mendapatkan pola makan yang tidak tepat yaitu sebanyak 2 orang (3,8%). Hasil analisis statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square diperoleh nilai p=Value sebesar 0,000 dimana <0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola pemberian makan dengan kejadian Stunting pada balita usia 12 – 59 bulan di Desa Beringin Kabupaten Bengkalis.

Abstract

Salah satu upaya penanggulangan masalah gizi kurang adalah dengan pemberian makanan tambahan lokal. Selain bertujuan untuk meningkatkan status gizi balita gizi kurang, pemberian makanan tambahan lokal juga bertujuan sebagai sarana penyuluhan dan pemulihan anak balita gizi kurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi apakah pemberian makanan tambahan (PMT) berbasis pangan lokal dapat meningkatkan berat badan balita dengan gizi kurang di UPT Puskesmas Enok, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir. Dengan menggunakan desain quasi-experimental dan rancangan pre-post test tanpa kelompok kontrol, penelitian ini melibatkan 19 balita yang mengalami gizi kurang sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian PMT berbasis pangan lokal memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan berat badan balita. Perubahan Z-score sebelum dan setelah pemberian makanan tambahan menunjukkan perbaikan yang jelas. Uji statistik dengan paired t-test menghasilkan p-value lebih kecil dari 0,05 yang mengindikasikan bahwa pemberian PMT berbasis pangan lokal efektif untuk meningkatkan status gizi balita gizi kurang. Penelitian ini menggambarkan bahwa semua balita yang menerima makanan tambahan berbasis pangan lokal menunjukkan peningkatan berat badan yang signifikan selama periode intervensi, pemberian makanan tambahan berbasis pangan lokal terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan status gizi balita dengan gizi kurang, penggunaan bahan pangan lokal dalam pemberian makanan tambahan terbukti berpengaruh memperbaiki status gizi balita. Berdasarkan temuan ini didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan bahan pangan lokal dalam program PMT merupakan solusi yang terjangkau dan mudah diakses untuk memperbaiki status gizi balita.

Abstract

Pregnant women in the first trimester are at risk of experiencing emesis gravidarum which can endanger the mother and fetus. Treatment can be done with non-pharmacological methods such as lemon aromatherapy. Data from the Pantai Cermin Health Center UPT, in Sungai Putih Village there are 41.7% of high-risk pregnant women, including those experiencing hyperemesis gravidarum. The study aims to determine the effect of giving lemon aromatherapy on emesis gravidarum in first trimester pregnant women in Sungai Putih Village, Pantai Cermin Health Center Working Area, Kampar Regency. This type of research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach with one group pre-test and post-test. The population is 62 pregnant women, a sample of 16 respondents. Sampling uses a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data are analyzed using a dependent T test. The results of the study, before giving lemon aromatherapy, the majority of respondents experienced moderate emesis gravidarum, as many as 81.3%. After giving lemon aromatherapy, the majority of respondents experienced mild emesis gravidarum, as many as 87.5%. There is an effect of lemon aromatherapy on emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the first trimester (ρ = 0.000). It is recommended that community health centers use lemon aromatherapy as part of their maternal health services, particularly as a non-pharmacological intervention to manage emesis gravidarum in the first trimesterKeywords: Lemon Aromatherapy, Emesis Gravidarum, Pregnant Women
